“Dee Dee was absolutely wonderful all around! The dogs were happy and had plenty of space to play, and I was updated a couple times a day on how they were doing with photos and that was nice to see. I will definitely be using Dee Dee’s services again and feeling confident that my dogs are excited to see her again!”

“We highly recommend Brenda and Al! Great communication, flexible and took exceptional care of our big guy. It was so nice to go on vacation and know he was with genuine and good people who cared for him like he was their own! Thank you!! Steve and Laurie”

“Maria is the best! Our 12 yr old labradoodle has been with Maria for 2 week stays for the past several years. Maria sends us updates daily and is great at communicating. I know your dog is well taken care of and comes home happy everytime. I highly recommend Maria!”

“Cassandra and Eric were incredible! Super communicative and it seems like our dogs really became a part of their family. They will be my first choice next time we need a sitter.”

“Logan is great! We have had our pup stay with her on several occasions, and it’s always great. She is super responsive, always sends pictures and updates, and can handle our rather high energy pup, which we appreciate! I highly recommend.”

About: Hi! I am a dependable, experienced pet lover who treats every animal like family. I grew up on a farm with 3 boxers, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. As an adult, I have had a Boston Terrier, two French Bulldogs (one is still with me at home), several cats, lizards, fish, and I currently care for a Koi pond-so I am very comfortable with a wide range of animal personalities and needs. I work from home, which means your dog will get plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. I have a very friendly French Bulldog named Bubble (age 7), who loves having visitors, plus a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and exercise. I am close to several walking paths near a lake, and dogs are allowed all throughout my home. I know firsthand how hard it is to leave your pet when you're busy or away-I've been there myself while working long hours in the office plus having to commute. That is why I am committed to making sure your pet feels safe, loved and engaged. I promise to keep them happy, healthy, and having fun while they are in my care. I offer walks, daycare, and overnight stays in my home. I am happy to follow your pet's routine closely. I can also handle feeding schedules, basic medications, and provide regular updates with photos so you always feel connected and know what is going on. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities-and I truly enjoy building trust with both pets and their owners. I would love to meet you and your pet! I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am home most of the day already with my dog -unless having to run errands. The same holds true if I am watching your pet. I will be around the house with your pet all day! I have a 2 floor home, fenced back yard, small shallow koi pond, doggy door, and gates at the top of the stairs for pets.
“Maria was the best sitter we could have found for Luna. We were always receiving pictures and video of how much fun our dog was having. She always looked extremely happy, well taken care of and loved. Communication was excellent, sitter was gracious, the house and backyard were big and spacious. Maria is our official doggy sitter.”

“Jordan did a great job sitting our dog. He was even able to accommodate a last minute change of plans, and take our dog for an extra day. He responded quickly to all questions during the boarding process, and gave good updates during the stay. I highly recommend Jordan!”

“Susan and Craig took wonderful care of my pup and I highly recommend for anyone with oral pill administration, anxiety, or minor behavioral issues (herding). Their updates and care put my mind at ease. Thanks again, you two!”

“I highly recommend Leah. If you found this sitter, look no further. Your pup will be in good hands and receive plenty of attention from her boys. My dog, Onyx, was well taken care of, I receive a good amount of pictures, and I will always check with Leah first for taking care of Onyx.”

“This was our first time using Rover and the first time that our pup has been away from us. Megan and Brandon were great. They communicated clearly and regularly during to process leading up to our leaving our dog with them. They both made us feel very comfortable at drop-off and provided updates and even a video to give us peace of mind that our Clark was well taken care of. When we picked Clark up it was clear that he had a good time and was treated well. All interactions were smooth and stress-free. We would not hesitate to have Clark stay with Brandon and Megan again.”

“I felt so at ease leaving Hank with Kelsey & her family. They are warm, attentive, & stayed in touch on a regular basis every day with photos & updates, which is exactly what I love from a Rover family. I know that my dog, Hank, had a great vacation with them & enjoyed time with their dog, Enzo, & their cute kiddos! I highly recommend this caring Rover family. I hope to book them, again, for future pup-care. 🐾”

“They were great sending me pics and videos of Peggy while she was with them. It’s hard to hand your pet over to strangers but they were so welcoming and professional it went a long way. Will definitely use them again!”

“Bryan was great. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there they cut me updated sent pictures and even had a nice little note and card with a little picture of Archie when I picked them up highly recommend”

“Our dog, Leia, had a great time staying with Cassidy! Leia can have separation anxiety in new places, but felt completely comfortable at Cassidy’s house and loved playing with her two dogs all week. Thanks Cassidy for making Leia feel right at home!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Maple Grove
We had a long-term sitter that moved away this year and finding a new sitter was more difficult than I thought. Kyle was very communicative from the beginning with having the meet and greet right away before the booking and letting us know how the dogs were doing during their stay. He has a great yard and an easy going manner, and we’ll definitely be bringing our two pups back!

Manami was wonderful to communicate with and i appreciated the updates she provided while Judy was in her care. Judy appeared to have a great time. I greatly appreciated Manami being able to take Judy on short notice and was easy to work with in terms of drop off and pick up times. Highly recommend her.

Miranda was amazing! Great communication & wonderful home! Piggie warmed up to her right away and he felt safe in her home immediately. It was wonderful seeing updates of him settled in and snoozing on her couch from day one. Highly recommend you book Miranda to watch your dogs!

Brian was absolutely wonderful. Excellent communication, took so many pics and videos and always, always responsive. I had a lot of anxiety leaving my kitty because he has previously been sick, but he did so well and Brian eased all my worries and allowed me to enjoy our trip! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Leah. If you found this sitter, look no further. Your pup will be in good hands and receive plenty of attention from her boys. My dog, Onyx, was well taken care of, I receive a good amount of pictures, and I will always check with Leah first for taking care of Onyx.

If you're looking for the best, no need to search any further. Leza did an amazing job watching Maxwell (our 12 year Labradoodle) for a full week. He has separation anxiety when we leave him anywhere, but didn't experience any of that with Leza. She honed in pretty quick on what his hot buttons were which were walks and of course his treats. There was some medication administration that she had no issues with doing. He was the same happy boy when we picked him up that he was when we dropped him off, which was a first for us. Thanks Leza, Maxwell had an awesome stay with you and is now his preferred stay provider.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
