“Lauren was wondering at communication & sending photos. She was patient with our cat, even though she wasn’t very social. We are so grateful for her great care of our furry family member!”

“Amanda was great! It was my first time using Rover. She helped me through the process, sent lots of pictures, was great with communication, and was caring with our pets and home. Gave us such piece of mind on our trip to know our sweet kitties were so well taken care of.”

“My cat was so calm when I came back from my trip. That tells me in her two 1-hour visits Alex gave him the TLC and attention he needed while I was away. She sent pictures and updates to me while she visited which was very nice. Highly recommend!”

“First time using Rover in a pinch! Kelly was wonderful with our two toy poodles. We were gone all week and Kelly took them out, did walks and lots of snuggles! They loved her and it was obvious in the pics she sent! We’ve already booked her for another time!”

“Marla is such a lovely pet sitter! Always sends photos and notes about the cats. Brings my packages inside and generally looks out for the place. Grateful to have found her!”

“Matthew did a great job with my frenchie puppy. She took to him right away! Will definitely use Matthew for future drop in visits. He was also helpful with orienting me to the app and the process since it was my first time. Much appreciated!”

About: Growing up with an aunt that is a veterinarian meant interacting with many animals and many different species. I’ve cared for small and large animals ranging from rats to horses. Earning an animal’s trust is one of the most rewarding experiences to me. I have full availability throughout the work week and am available most weekends! The weekends I’m not available will be marked on my calendar. I can be flexible to match any needs you or you pet(s) may need! I understand all animals are different and can’t all be treated the same. I try my best to meet animals where they are at. For example, I give shy animals more space and move slower so as to not spook them. I am more than willing to hang out for a while with your fur baby to ensure they are comfortable, safe, and being well cared for.
“Vickie was so great with our two girls! We loved all the pictures and videos she sent us. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be reaching out to her again! ❤️”

“Alisha was absolutely amazing! She communicated so well through the entire week. My pup has some severe separation anxiety and I hate leaving her, but Alisha loved on her like her own which made me feel so at ease! Will definitely hire her again!”

“Brooke took great care of our dog and cat! She was reliable and thoughtful, and stayed with our dog until he ate each visit. Our grouchy cat even enjoyed her company and purred for her when she came over!”

“Ciboney is kind, respectful, and reliable. Kept me updated and made me feel like my pets were in good hands. I highly recommend her and will be booking her in the future.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 15, I’ve taken in mastiffs to small teacup chihuahuas! Ever since my mom started her dog buisness, I’ve grown very fond over taking care of dogs. I have lots of experience from over these past years of dog sitting, and have seen many different types of breeds! I’ve handled dog aggressive dogs as well as human aggressive dogs, this is not new to me and I’m more than happy to accommodate with dogs who suffer from that. I have also medicated dogs as well as cats before! If you wanna try and potty train your puppy I’ll be more than happy to help as well. I’m not a certified trainer, but I’ve done dog conditioning and have my cgc and gone to multiple akc classes. I also trained a medical alert service dog by myself. My dogs are in akc advanced obedience/tricks. I’ve dabbled in dog sports, I’ve taken clients to do fast cat too! If you’re ever interested in getting in to sports and don’t know where to start I would love to help out. Im home most of the day, I’m able to go any clients house at any given time! As long as I get a heads up! My schedule can be adjusted to your needs.🙂 When it comes to house visits I’m a very cautious person, I love to double check everything. Gives me peace of mind, as well as making sure everything was where it was left. I have done house visits where I had to medicate cats or dogs, as well as slept over houses with them! For free I’ll also clean the house up (sweep/mop/dusting) for any house visits! The house will be left the same way you left it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amanda was wonderful! Thank you so much for taking such great care of Tito. She was kind, attentive, and made us feel completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. We really appreciate the care and attention she gave him and would absolutely recommend her!

Alex was so wonderful while taking care of our sweet boy Charlie. She took great care of him while we were away for the week. She sent great updates, responded to any questions quickly and so we were able to relax on our vacation knowing he was happy and in great hands. We will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thank you Alex!

Sarah was perfect with my senior cat who is not friendly to people. Sarah has a sense of humor and I loved getting her updates and pictures from her visits. She took good care of my finicky cat’s needs. She also took care of my multiple indoor plants and getting mail in which was a bonus. I am certainly going to have Sarah to take care of my little baby when I go on trips next.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Maple Grove. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
