“First time using Rover in a pinch! Kelly was wonderful with our two toy poodles. We were gone all week and Kelly took them out, did walks and lots of snuggles! They loved her and it was obvious in the pics she sent! We’ve already booked her for another time!”

“She was prompt and clear about what she did with the dogs. She sent multiple photos each visit. She also went above and beyond like removing a wasp nest from our porch or bringing in our Amazon packages!”

“Alicja was great and was able to come over after a very last minute request! Took great care of my kitties, gave my diabetic cat insulin and even took out the garbage on the way out! Would definitely rebook and recommend to others! :)”

“Matthew did a great job with my frenchie puppy. She took to him right away! Will definitely use Matthew for future drop in visits. He was also helpful with orienting me to the app and the process since it was my first time. Much appreciated!”

“Annie was able to come in last minute and save the day when I couldn't get home to let my dog out. I am so appreciative! She saved the day and she always treats my petsso well.”

“Emma is great with cats and very friendly! She did an excellent job attending to the needs of my cats who needed separate meals. Her updates and pictures were so sweet and it’s clear that she loved animals!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets has always come naturally to me - my sisters like to call me an animal whisper :) I grew up helping take care of cats and dogs for family, friends, and neighbors, whether that meant feeding them, taking them on walks, playing with them, or just keeping them company while their people were away. I also have grown up with animals of my own! Including a 26 year old frog lol! I know how much pets feel like family, so I’ll always treat yours with the same love, patience, and attention I would want for my own. I’m gentle, reliable, and happy to follow whatever routine makes your pet feel the most comfortable — no matter if they are full of energy, a little shy, older and slower, or just need someone to sit with them and give them love. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away, and I’m always happy to send updates throughout my time with them! I work part-time out of the house and part-time remote, so I have a pretty flexible weekly schedule. This makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my routine, whether that’s stopping by for check-ins, feeding, walks, playtime, or just spending time with your pet so they don’t feel alone. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always do my best to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding instructions, walks, litter box care, medications if needed, and any rules you have for your home. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure everything is left how I found it. I pay attention to details like locked doors, fresh water, clean bowls, and making sure pets are safe and settled before I leave.

“Elisa has been fantastic with our new puppy Lucy. We’ve been having her do 2 drop-in visits per day to help with potty training and to work with her when our daughters get home from school. She has provided very detailed updates and has been extremely responsive.”

“Neha was awesome with our cats. Dependable, empathetic and understanding when we had an unexpected curveball with an injured cat. Neha’s presence assured us that our beloved cats were in good hands. 100% recommend Neha anytime!!”

“Jennifer was PHENOMENAL with our pets!!! We have both a dog and a cat so it's sometimes difficult for us to find a sitter that can really care about both but Jennifer really went above and beyond. We needed someone very last minute and we're so thankful that Jennifer made herself available. She's so easy to work with, was prompt, and gave plenty of attention to our boys. So kind of her to come bearing little treats for them too! We would highly recommend Jennifer as a sitter and we're very glad we could depend on her in the future!”

“Sarah is the most reliable dog sitter ever 😍. She is great with Lola and always give me a good recap of her visit and takes ton of pictures of Lola. Thanks so much Sarah. I appreciate a ton your help ❤️”

“Sara was great with our cats and was on time for all meet and greets and visits. She communicated with us when things came up, and even did an emergency extra visit (we did pay her!!) when our cats knocked over their automatic feeder.”

“Alexis was great with my Charlie boy! I was in a pinch and needed a sitter last minute and she saved the day! I could tell from the photos she sent me that Charlie was excited to see her and spend time with her everytime she went to let him out, and her playing with him in the backyard and taking him for walks goes a long way towards making him feel happy when he’s got a little separation anxiety going on. I would absolutely recommend her, and would use her again in the future when I need a helping hand! 🐾”

About: I’ve taken care of many different pets growing up, cats, dogs, bunnies, etc. I own a Husky and a Leopard Gecko, so I am also very experienced in animal care of many different kinds. I am also going into wildlife rehabilitation, so a few of my volunteering work skills are very helpful in caring for all kinds of animals ᵕ̈ I am currently working part-time, however shifts at my job are scarce during the summer so I will have tons of free-time to take care of any pets that need attention ᵕ̈ I have one friendly puppy who can keep your animals company if they need to stay here, I am also able to drive to any home to care for your babies in their own comfort.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amanda was wonderful! Thank you so much for taking such great care of Tito. She was kind, attentive, and made us feel completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. We really appreciate the care and attention she gave him and would absolutely recommend her!

Alex was so wonderful while taking care of our sweet boy Charlie. She took great care of him while we were away for the week. She sent great updates, responded to any questions quickly and so we were able to relax on our vacation knowing he was happy and in great hands. We will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thank you Alex!

Sarah was perfect with my senior cat who is not friendly to people. Sarah has a sense of humor and I loved getting her updates and pictures from her visits. She took good care of my finicky cat’s needs. She also took care of my multiple indoor plants and getting mail in which was a bonus. I am certainly going to have Sarah to take care of my little baby when I go on trips next.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Maple Grove. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
