About: I’m a passionate (professionally trained) dog trainer with over four years of experience at one of the currently top rated and award winning doggie day cares, boarding and training facility in the metro area! My passion has taken me through professional boarding facilities and various sized playrooms, where I’ve learned the ins and outs of doggy behavior from playful pups, ones that are a little more on the spicy side, to the more reserved ones. what I truly love is helping pups thrive. I have been trained to use various tools if needed for your pup such as properly fitting a harness, a prong collar, and more. I will happily collaborate with you to create a perfect care plan including enrichment, walks, play time, brain games and structure. I have been successfully training dogs for 11 years with the past 4 being in a professional setting. I’m all about clarity, transparency and open communication. My current position at my full time job is the lead trainer and manager of a smaller group daycare for reactive pups of various degrees and pups that need structure. I’m fine with behavioral issues such as resource guarding, reactivity ect as long as it’s disclosed first. I also have a senior GSD at home so I know how to provide compassionate care for our sugar faced friends! I’m always open for questions or comments and I send LOTS of pictures! I require a meet and greet before booking any services (unless it’s a last minute drop in or dog walk) I work full time as a dog trainer but I always make time to train and work my own dogs as well as being able to care for others pets. We can discuss your ideal schedule and figure out together the perfect plan. I’m available most evenings and weekends. I have a fully fenced yard, long lines and a couple favorite parks! I will always be transparent with pet parents about expectations with their pets. What I would do with a senior pup is different than a young dog. I’m happy to provide my companionship and love for dogs who would rather snuggle and just be around people or play lots of fetch and do lots of brain games for dogs who need that. Usually it’s a mix between the two, some play, lots of love.
“Elizabeth did what was needed to care for my cat. She made sure my cat had fresh water, food, and cleaned the litter box. Above all else, she made sure my cat was well cared for before leaving. I will definitely be hiring her again.”

About: Growing up with an aunt that is a veterinarian meant interacting with many animals and many different species. I’ve cared for small and large animals ranging from rats to horses. Earning an animal’s trust is one of the most rewarding experiences to me. I have full availability throughout the work week and am available most weekends! The weekends I’m not available will be marked on my calendar. I can be flexible to match any needs you or you pet(s) may need! I understand all animals are different and can’t all be treated the same. I try my best to meet animals where they are at. For example, I give shy animals more space and move slower so as to not spook them. I am more than willing to hang out for a while with your fur baby to ensure they are comfortable, safe, and being well cared for.

“Kristen was great as we requested her assistance last minute. She was very communicative and loving towards our 2 cats. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking and will definitely use her again.”

“Kaitlyn took care of our two dogs and cat for a week while we traveled. She gave great recaps of each visit and pictures too. It was so nice to have peace of mind knowing they were in good hands while we were gone. They were very happy and she didn't miss a beat keeping them on their routine. We would 100% use her again! Thank you so much, Kaitlyn!!”

“We were super happy with the drop in visits we scheduled. Londyn was super respectful of our space and gave lots of love to our kitties. Would definitely reschedule future visits.”

About: I have experience with small and medium sized dogs. I grew up with a family Peekapoo. I also volunteered at the Animal Humane Society where I was trained in using Gentle Leaders on larger dogs. My schedule is very flexible. I work part time and remotely so I have plenty of availability to give your pet the attention they deserve! I start my cat fosters in the bathroom until they are ready to explore the apartment. I will use a similar approach with any cats who stay in my home. When visiting pets in their home I usually start with feeding and then stay for pets and play when they finish their meal.
“She was prompt and clear about what she did with the dogs. She sent multiple photos each visit. She also went above and beyond like removing a wasp nest from our porch or bringing in our Amazon packages!”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. Ciboney is so incredible- we have two cats and fish and lots of plants. She’s so communicative and kind! We’re so grateful to have her take care of our little ones❤️”

About: I have over a decade of professional experience with pet-sitting, as well as a lifetime of personal experience. This includes with Chihuahuas, Frenchies, Spaniels, Chow Chows, Great Danes, Boxers, bully breeds, and more. Care can include low-stimulus times or tiring animals out. I do maintain full-time employment that I would need to work around, but am WFH more often than not, so often can do drop-ins throughout the day. I would just need to schedule ahead of time as the in-office requirements for my full-time job are not consistent or regular. I would love to care for your animals in their home environment and prioritize their comfort, health, and safety over everything. I can make myself available for meeting(s) ahead of time so animals can feel familiar with me prior to any care.
“Jennifer is such a caring pet sitter. She gave extra attention (in time & treats) to our cat when she started getting lonely. From the photos & videos I could tell our girl loved having her Jennifer visits.”

“Maia took wonderful care of our cat, Princess Leia, while we were out of town for four days. She was an excellent communicator, keeping us updated and giving us peace of mind that everything was going smoothly. When we returned home, both our house and our cat were clearly well cared for. Princess Leia was happy to see us, but she also seemed calm, relaxed, and content, which is always the best sign that she's been in good hands. Maia's drop-in visits gave us confidence that our cat was getting the attention and care she needed while we were away. We would absolutely trust Maia with our home and pets again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter.”

About: Update: 1. We just bought a kiddie pool for dogs! If your pet gets over heated in the summer and enjoys water time, they can enjoy the dog pool in our backyard. (: Update 2: We are fully booked for the rest of 2026. Accepting bookings only if there are any cancelations or else- beginning Jan 2027. Thank you. 💜 We have a massive fenced in backyard for dogs and playtime for cats will be indoors. For dogs, we're happy to give them 4 walks a day and lots of playtime and fetch in the fenced-in backyard. For cats- we have a huge bay window overlooking a bird feeder so cats can soak in the sun and spend their time watching the birdies. We do not put any fur babies in crates unless you specifically ask us to (we do not own crates so you will have to provide one). This is not our full time job nor income, we're doing this because we LOVE animals so at our home, your pet will feel like its their vacation time! They'll have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run around and be happy and comfortable! We also do not accept more than 1 booking at a time. 2 dogs from the same family are welcome but we don't accept multiple bookings from different households at the same time. We do not want our home to feel crowded and we do not want the dogs and cats to feel overwhelmed so you can always be assured that our house will feel like a mini stress free vacation for your pets! (: We will need you to provide everything your pet will need for their stay including food bowl, water bowl, toys/treats, food and most importantly- medications if needed. For Doggy day care: if we are doing doggy day care, we will only be taking one dog at a time, or 2 dogs from the same family. We want to ensure that the pet has a fun time while away from their fav human for a few hours, and simultaneously we want to have stress free work days (: Thank you! (: We work from home full time so we are available for walks, and playtime in the fenced-in backyard. We also love dogs and cats so they're welcome to join us in our bed for all naps! We have two cats of our own but they will have no interaction with your dog/cat; when we are sitting your pets our cats will be in the basement (which is their fav place in the house anyway). If you're reaching out to us about cat sitting, please also ensure that you're willing to provide litter.
“I couldn't be happier with the experience! She provided updates and adorable photos, which put my mind at ease. My dogs were happy and well-cared for, and I could tell they received plenty of attention and playtime. Payton was very responsible, sticking to my dog's routine and ensuring they felt comfortable throughout the time. I highly recommend for a reliable and caring dog sitter. I will definitely book them again in the future!”

“Rola did a fantastic job with our two dogs during her drop-in visit. She was on time, friendly, and made sure both pups were cared for and happy. I I appreciated her attention to detail and the updates she provided. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and thoughtful pet care!”
About: I'm currently a student at the University of Minnesota and living on campus is making me miss spending time with dogs! I'm super excited for the opportunity to provide daytime or weekend exercise, company, and/or general care for dogs of any size and age. I'm generally available on weekday afternoons and completely open on Fridays and weekends. I am available to make multiple daily house visits while owners are on vacation, as well as board dogs at my house. I love to run and am willing to run a few miles with dogs needing more exercise. I've had multiple family dogs and am competent in general health requirements/ concerns and ready to follow any procedures you use. I have my own "tools" like leashes, brushes, bags, etc as well as consistent transportation. I work a full time 9-5 schedule so I am available before and after work on weekdays and all day on weekends. I find a lot of joy in taking care of pets and time spent on walks or playing around is often the highlight of my day. I am an active person who loves running and walking, so it's natural to include a dog in that routine. In both my home and my client's home, I ensure pets receive attentive, individualized care through regular feeding, playtime, and maintaining their daily routines. Additionally, I provide basic grooming and plenty of affection to keep them happy and healthy.

Tricia was absolutely great with my two kitties. Left the house in perfect condition, communicated every day, came on time, played with and brushed them, and bonus: she's an absolutely fantastic animal portrait photographer!!! The pics she sent are some of the very best I have of both of my girls. I'm so used to getting partial-body, proof-of-life hostage pictures from pet sitters (IYKYK) that her work was a fabulous surprise!! This was my first time using Tricia and won't be my last.

Lizzie dropped in twice a day throughout a long weekend to feed and spend time with our cat, Betty. We did a meet & greet before booking and talked through Betty’s needs. I felt very comfortable with Lizzie taking care of our fluffy girl and she provided pictures of each of her visits which showed Betty getting lots of love and pets. I would definitely book Lizzie again!

Meagan continues to be amazing and dependable. We've booked Meagan a few times now and not only does she make sure that the kitties are fed, and happy but she's also really thoughtful about things like watering the plants and activating the security system of the house. Super duper appreciate her, and I know our cats love her. One of our cats is really shy and tends to stay away from most people, but not Meagan! And the other crazy cat climbs all over Meagan and just cant get enough cuddles. Will 100% book again!

Hannah is AH-MAZ-ING!! I had to go out of the country for two weeks and my biggest concern was my precious cat Bella and my two big, beautiful goldfish. When Hannah and I first met I expressed my anxiety about my trip and her immediate response was, "How can I help you?" I was immediately relaxed by her sincerity, we had a nice conversation, and she asked great questions. I felt that Hannah was the just the right pet sitter and it gave me true peace of mind. She was indeed great, Bella quickly warmed up to her, particularly loving the daily brushing Hannah gave her. Hannah even noticed one of my goldfish not acting himself and reached out to me right away. From our communications she tested the water, found the issue, and was able to treat it. My goldfish rebounded quickly. I'm so grateful that she was so observant! I will definitely request her pet care services when I travel again. I couldn't ask for a more reliable sitter for my pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
