About: I have cared for animals since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have asked me to petsit, walk, bath and help care for their animals. Jennifer is an absolute gem! She was an incredible caretaker to our two young cats while my family took a weeklong trip to the Bahamas. We were quite nervous as this had been the longest we had been away from them and we had had a poor experience prior with a sitter over a long weekend a couple months earlier. Jennifer was the complete opposite of our previous sitter! She went above and beyond! She sent several videos and pictures each day, which put our mind at ease. We could see how much she played with the cats and we could see they were still up to their funny shenanigans. We felt relieved to see that the cats looked happy and were well cared for. Jennifer sent daily texts to keep us updated and even communicated concerns like some ice forming on our front walkway and asked if she would like us to salt it. About: Update: 1. We just bought a kiddie pool for dogs! If your pet gets over heated in the summer and enjoys water time, they can enjoy the dog pool in our backyard. (: 2. We are booked for all of July and August. Currently we are accepting bookings for September onwards. Thank you! (: We have a massive fenced in backyard for dogs and playtime for cats will be indoors. For dogs, we're happy to give them 4 walks a day and lots of playtime and fetch in the fenced-in backyard. For cats- we have a huge bay window overlooking a bird feeder so cats can soak in the sun and spend their time watching the birdies. We do not put any fur babies in crates. This is not our full time job nor income, we're doing this because we love animals and with having cats of our own we understand how stressful it can be to find the right care while going on vacations/work trips. So at our home, your pet will feel like its their vacation time! They'll have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run around and be happy and comfortable! We also do not accept more than 1 booking at a time. 2 dogs from the same family are welcome but we don't accept multiple bookings from different households at the same time. We do not want our home to feel crowded and we do not want the dogs and cats to feel overwhelmed so you can always be assured that our house will feel like a mini stress free vacation for your pets! (: We will need you to provide everything your pet will need for their stay including food bowl, water bowl, toys/treats, food and most importantly- medications if needed. For Doggy day care: if we are doing doggy day care, we will only be taking one dog at a time, or 2 dogs from the same family. We want to ensure that the pet has a fun time while away from their fav human for a few hours, and simultaneously we want to have stress free work days (: Thank you! (: We work from home so we are available for walks, and playtime in the fenced-in backyard. We also love dogs and cats so they're welcome to join us in our bed for all naps! We have two cats of our own but they will have no interaction with your dog/cat; when we are sitting your pets our cats will be in the basement (which is their fav place in the house anyway). This was our second booking with Patricia, and she’s just incredible. This request came together on relatively short notice, and she responded quickly, even late at night, which we really appreciated. Even for a brief one-day booking, she was thoughtful, conscientious, and genuinely engaged with our cats. Her updates were detailed, funny, and reassuring, with lots of great photos. We feel very lucky to have found her and so lucky she’s nearby..
Lizzie dropped in twice a day throughout a long weekend to feed and spend time with our cat, Betty. We did a meet & greet before booking and talked through Betty’s needs. I felt very comfortable with Lizzie taking care of our fluffy girl and she provided pictures of each of her visits which showed Betty getting lots of love and pets. Meagan continues to be amazing and dependable. We've booked Meagan a few times now and not only does she make sure that the kitties are fed, and happy but she's also really thoughtful about things like watering the plants and activating the security system of the house. Super duper appreciate her, and I know our cats love her. One of our cats is really shy and tends to stay away from most people, but not Meagan! And the other crazy cat climbs all over Meagan and just cant get enough cuddles. Will 100% book again!
Hannah is AH-MAZ-ING!! I had to go out of the country for two weeks and my biggest concern was my precious cat Bella and my two big, beautiful goldfish. When Hannah and I first met I expressed my anxiety about my trip and her immediate response was, "How can I help you?" I was immediately relaxed by her sincerity, we had a nice conversation, and she asked great questions. I felt that Hannah was the just the right pet sitter and it gave me true peace of mind. She was indeed great, Bella quickly warmed up to her, particularly loving the daily brushing Hannah gave her. Hannah even noticed one of my goldfish not acting himself and reached out to me right away. From our communications she tested the water, found the issue, and was able to treat it. My goldfish rebounded quickly. I'm so grateful that she was so observant! I will definitely request her pet care services when I travel again. I couldn't ask for a more reliable sitter for my pets.
