About: I don’t have cats any more, but I did have a special lady named Steenkie. I miss her so much and would love to have a sweet kitty in my life once more. While I train dogs I still hold a special place in my heart for cats. Steenkie (my cat) was the first commitment my husband and I made together (before we even got married) and though Steenk has passed the bond and love we shared as a family will never fade. I would love to care for your cats as I would my own. With love, compassion and of course a tiny little bit of mischief since my girl was a little devil 😂

“If you are reading this review you may have some apprehension trying to find a responsible, dependable and caring person to watch over your treasured furry friends. Look no further! Jennifer is an absolute gem! She was an incredible caretaker to our two young cats while my family took a weeklong trip to the Bahamas. We were quite nervous as this had been the longest we had been away from them and we had had a poor experience prior with a sitter over a long weekend a couple months earlier. Jennifer was the complete opposite of our previous sitter! She went above and beyond! She sent several videos and pictures each day, which put our mind at ease. We could see how much she played with the cats and we could see they were still up to their funny shenanigans. We felt relieved to see that the cats looked happy and were well cared for. Jennifer sent daily texts to keep us updated and even communicated concerns like some ice forming on our front walkway and asked if she would like us to salt it. She took our garbage and recycling out and brought it back in. She did so much without even being asked. Jennifer is the sweetest, most caring sitter you could ask for. About: I have had dogs in my life since I was born. I'm very comfortable and confident in giving them love and care! I've helped dog sit for my parents, friends & neighbors. I also had the amazing joy of raising a Boston Terrier to the blessed old age of 15. I helped train him as a puppy and in new ways once he lost his hearing and had memory loss in his senior years. About: I have experience with small and medium sized dogs. I grew up with a family Peekapoo. I also volunteered at the Animal Humane Society where I was trained in using Gentle Leaders on larger dogs. My schedule is very flexible. I work part time and remotely so I have plenty of availability to give your pet the attention they deserve! I start my cat fosters in the bathroom until they are ready to explore the apartment. I will use a similar approach with any cats who stay in my home. When visiting pets in their home I usually start with feeding and then stay for pets and play when they finish their meal.

We carefully introduce your dog and our sweet boy, Boon. As a puppy, Boon was quite mischievous, so we learned quickly how to puppy/dog proof our home to avoid any issues. If we can handle Boon as a puppy, we can handle any dog. Now that he has gotten older and more mature, Boon is very amiable and loves to play and snuggle with our dog visitors. We crate Boon while we are out, and can follow any protocols you wish for caring for your fur baby when we are home and when we have to step out (a rare occurrence).

About: I have experience with small and medium sized dogs. I grew up with a family Peekapoo. I also volunteered at the Animal Humane Society where I was trained in using Gentle Leaders on larger dogs. My schedule is very flexible. I work part time and remotely so I have plenty of availability to give your pet the attention they deserve! I start my cat fosters in the bathroom until they are ready to explore the apartment. I will use a similar approach with any cats who stay in my home. When visiting pets in their home I usually start with feeding and then stay for pets and play when they finish their meal.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was born. I'm very comfortable and confident in giving them love and care! I've helped dog sit for my parents, friends & neighbors. I also had the amazing joy of raising a Boston Terrier to the blessed old age of 15. I helped train him as a puppy and in new ways once he lost his hearing and had memory loss in his senior years. About: Have taken care of family dogs off all breeds and sizes. Have been trusted to overnight sit and bathe dogs along with walks! Love to be around all dogs and show them the best love! I am an athletic trainer who is off in the mornings and summer. Have several available days and times that would work for dog walking! I do not have a schedule in the summer so I am available at all times. It is important to me that all pets feel loved and get the exercise that they deserve. All pets will be given treats (within moderation and if allowed) and as much pets as they want! Walks will be focused on the dog, their comfortability, and getting to smell the fresh air!!

I can also provide some light grooming by chance the pets get dirty and need a bath, or just brushing them to make sure they don't get matted! I have a flexible graduate school schedule that is hybrid, so I am able to cater to nearly any of your dogs needs throughout the day! If I am out and about while I am watching them, I always make sure to not be gone too long / longer than they are used to being alone for. I will always ensure that any latches on gates and fences are closed before I let your dog out into a yard if you have one, as well as double checking their collar and leash are attached correctly when we go out on walks or to the bathroom! If you have any gates up indoors I will make sure to keep these in place, as well as not allow them on any furniture you request they stay off of. We carefully introduce your dog and our sweet boy, Boon. As a puppy, Boon was quite mischievous, so we learned quickly how to puppy/dog proof our home to avoid any issues. If we can handle Boon as a puppy, we can handle any dog. Now that he has gotten older and more mature, Boon is very amiable and loves to play and snuggle with our dog visitors. We crate Boon while we are out, and can follow any protocols you wish for caring for your fur baby when we are home and when we have to step out (a rare occurrence).

She needs special people to care for her and Lely and Mark did an outstanding job keeping her exercised, calm, loved and feeling like she was right at home. She totally felt comfortable with them right away at our meet and greet. They asked excellent questions about her so I was completely confident they were going to be involved and loving caretakers. I never worried about her after the first msg saying she was doing well and when we picked her up she was a chill pill, obviously happy to come home but obviously no signs of anything but “that was a great vacation, mom!” We will definitely use Mark and Lely again!”
