About: I have a rescue, reactive dog that has been well trained and can now meet just about anyone with the right treats and setting! I love and care for animals and volunteer at the humane society. This has taught me many strategies in order to allow dogs to feel comfortable with me when I visit or walk them. I’ve watched and cared for pets previously and absolutely love spending time outdoors with them. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from a small 10 pounds to a large 110 pound. I know that your animals are your babies, just as mine is to me! I strive to always give great care, love and attention to each and every animal I meet. I’m comfortable using different types of leashes, or leads- whatever your dog is comfortable with! I’m a teacher, but during the summer I am much more available! I have most days open to dog walking/playing as I will not be going into work daily. I make sure to meet the dog and owners before caring for them or taking them out of the home. I get to know the dog’s demeanor, mannerisms and personality to ensure I’m completely comfortable with the dog and them with me! I also like to get to know the route that the dog prefers to keep consistency. I also like to learn what the owners would like for their pets. Anything from medication, food, walking or just some time to hang out- I love to spend time with your dog and show them love.

About: I've been caring for others pets since I was 10yo. Prissy & Ginger (a Boston Terrier & a Pug) were my first loves as I would walk my neighbors dogs for companionship when I could not have my own. As an adult, I still pet-sit for friends, most frequently a 5yo Tamaskan when his owner travels. I was a part-time vet-tech in college and work in a (human) clinic as an adult, so I understand special needs, different medications, and the roll of compassion for all conditions. I work out of the home all week, so can accomodate unique schedule needs. My home has 3 areas that a pet can be isolated from others, if needed. I also have a large (unfenced) yard for endless roaming and sniffing, and a 2nd story deck overlooking my back acre for fun and safe wildlife viewing for leisurely sunny afternoons. I'm around my home most times while I work out of the home. Unique schedules can be easily managed, and special dietary or medical needs tended to. When I have appointments, dogs are welcome with if they love car rides - I have a special back compartment in my SUV with windows on 3 sides to catch all the sites! In boarding other peoples pets, I do my best to keep their usual routine to maximize their comfort and minimize stress while mom/dad are away. I have several spaces that can be closed off for isolation if needed for care, sleeping or feeding separately, or they can have the whole house to roam, if that is their preference. I have 2 leashes/tethers (40' or 20') to explore the yard and a box full of toys for chewing, pulling, fetching as needed - or bring your own favorite toys, we'll play with those! If limiting space is ideal, I have a baby gate - we can segregate off the lower level, upper level, kitchen, bedrooms only or whatever configuration works best.

About: Grew up with large dogs 0-22 - worked professionally at doggy day car and boarding - worked rescuing animals - comfortable with large breeds - cat experience - reptile experience I work a minimal schedule at my home office, leaving my schedule open and flexible Your pet is able to have my full attention 🐕‍🦺 In a client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s routine—feeding, walks, cleaning up, and making sure they’re comfortable. I really enjoy spending time playing with pets and making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I also keep things tidy and send updates so owners know their pet is doing well.

About: My wife and I have had paws in our house almost from day 1. Over the years we have had 6 dogs and 7 cats, all of which came on board as puppies or kittens, and they all lived long and happy lives. Currently we have 1 dog and 2 cats. I am now retired, so I have maximum flexibility to schedule sitting/walking times. The biggest competitors for my time are the grandkids, and the lawnmower in the summer and snow shovel in the winter. Our cats are indoor cats with access to a screen porch to satisfy their outdoor desires. We have used the Invisible Fence for our previous larger dogs. The client would set the requirements for care at the pet's home. I also have walking shoes and a leash for doggie exercise. I have not signed up to care for client's animals at our house.

Payton went above and beyond both communicating about and helping with cleanup of a bathroom accident while I was away - very much appreciated! About: I have been a dog / cat sitter for my friends, family and neighbors since I was 13. My family had both dogs and cats in the house when I was growing up. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I especially enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them outside to help expend their energy. I currently work from home in a corporate position. I have plenty of free time and would love to spend some of it taking care of animals. Typically, I am staying over at the client’s home for the duration of their trip / vacation. The client will often have me over to their home prior to their departure to meet the animal(s) and go over their needs and any other special requests they may have. It is very important to me that the client feels safe entrusting me to stay in their home and take care of their pets.

I love working with dogs and cats alike, and I have experience providing all kinds of basic pet care (feeding, walking, playing, snuggling, basic commands training, etc.). My availability falls mostly to weeknights and weekends, as I do work full-time. I am happy to provide drop-in care and dog walking services on weeknights from 6-9 pm, and most weekends. I am also available for house sitting/overnight stays most weekends.
