About: I’m a passionate (professionally trained) dog trainer with over four years of experience at one of the currently top rated and award winning doggie day cares, boarding and training facility in the metro area! My passion has taken me through professional boarding facilities and various sized playrooms, where I’ve learned the ins and outs of doggy behavior from playful pups, ones that are a little more on the spicy side, to the more reserved ones. what I truly love is helping pups thrive. I have been trained to use various tools if needed for your pup such as properly fitting a harness, a prong collar, and more. I will happily collaborate with you to create a perfect care plan including enrichment, walks, play time, brain games and structure. I have been successfully training dogs for 11 years with the past 4 being in a professional setting. I’m all about clarity, transparency and open communication. My current position at my full time job is the lead trainer and manager of a smaller group daycare for reactive pups of various degrees and pups that need structure. I’m fine with behavioral issues such as resource guarding, reactivity ect as long as it’s disclosed first. I also have a senior GSD at home so I know how to provide compassionate care for our sugar faced friends! I’m always open for questions or comments and I send LOTS of pictures! I require a meet and greet before booking any services (unless it’s a last minute drop in or dog walk) I work full time as a dog trainer but I always make time to train and work my own dogs as well as being able to care for others pets. We can discuss your ideal schedule and figure out together the perfect plan. I’m available most evenings and weekends. I have a fully fenced yard, long lines and a couple favorite parks! I will always be transparent with pet parents about expectations with their pets. What I would do with a senior pup is different than a young dog. I’m happy to provide my companionship and love for dogs who would rather snuggle and just be around people or play lots of fetch and do lots of brain games for dogs who need that. Usually it’s a mix between the two, some play, lots of love.
“Caroline is as so wonderful with our pup! She even stopped by last minute to do a little meet and greet before our visit to get familiar! Would definitely book with Caroline again”

“Kristen was great as we requested her assistance last minute. She was very communicative and loving towards our 2 cats. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking and will definitely use her again.”

“April was amazing, probably the best sitter we’ve ever had. She went above and beyond when one of our dogs had an accident. We will definitely be returning to her in the future for any sitting needs.”

About: I have been a dog / cat sitter for my friends, family and neighbors since I was 13. My family had both dogs and cats in the house when I was growing up. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I especially enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them outside to help expend their energy. I currently work from home in a corporate position. I have plenty of free time and would love to spend some of it taking care of animals. Typically, I am staying over at the client’s home for the duration of their trip / vacation. The client will often have me over to their home prior to their departure to meet the animal(s) and go over their needs and any other special requests they may have. It is very important to me that the client feels safe entrusting me to stay in their home and take care of their pets.
About: I have experience caring for dogs through helping friends, family, and coworkers with walking, feeding, playtime, and drop-in visits. I’m patient, attentive, and focused on keeping pets safe and comfortable in their normal routines. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs who need exercise as well as calmer or senior dogs who need a slower pace. I pay close attention to instructions, behavior cues, and communication with owners, and I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, consistency, and care while you’re away I work a typical 9–5 schedule, so I’m available for pet care before and after work, as well as on weekends. I’m intentional about making time for the pets I care for and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I’m reliable about sticking to their routines and am happy to plan visits and walks around their normal feeding, potty, and activity schedules. Weekends give me even more flexibility for longer visits, walks, and plenty of playtime! I provide walks and drop-in visits in your home, keeping your pet’s routine consistent and stress-free. I carefully follow all care instructions, use secure leash handling on walks, and stay aware of our surroundings to ensure safety. In your home, I’m respectful of your space, double-check doors and gates, and make sure your pet is comfortable before leaving. You can always expect clear communication and photo updates after each visit
“I couldn't be happier with the experience! She provided updates and adorable photos, which put my mind at ease. My dogs were happy and well-cared for, and I could tell they received plenty of attention and playtime. Payton was very responsible, sticking to my dog's routine and ensuring they felt comfortable throughout the time. I highly recommend for a reliable and caring dog sitter. I will definitely book them again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14 from family friends to neighbors. I also have experience working at a pet food store where I would meet dozens of dogs a week of all temperaments and sizes. No matter your pup be them big or little I would love to play and cuddle and spend time with them! I work as a special-ed para during the school year and PCA in the summer months. I am looking for a fulfilling way to spend my summer and I’d be so happy to meet you and your pup or kitty if you’re interested! I listen to the needs, habits, and routines of the owner making sure to provide an easy transition and a relaxing time with any dog. This allows for a stress free trip for the owners and no need to worry about the safety and well being of their pet.
“Rola did a fantastic job with our two dogs during her drop-in visit. She was on time, friendly, and made sure both pups were cared for and happy. I I appreciated her attention to detail and the updates she provided. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and thoughtful pet care!”
About: My wife and I have had paws in our house almost from day 1. Over the years we have had 6 dogs and 7 cats, all of which came on board as puppies or kittens, and they all lived long and happy lives. Currently we have 1 dog and 2 cats. I am now retired, so I have maximum flexibility to schedule sitting/walking times. The biggest competitors for my time are the grandkids, and the lawnmower in the summer and snow shovel in the winter. Our cats are indoor cats with access to a screen porch to satisfy their outdoor desires. We have used the Invisible Fence for our previous larger dogs. The client would set the requirements for care at the pet's home. I also have walking shoes and a leash for doggie exercise. I have not signed up to care for client's animals at our house.

Tricia was absolutely great with my two kitties. Left the house in perfect condition, communicated every day, came on time, played with and brushed them, and bonus: she's an absolutely fantastic animal portrait photographer!!! The pics she sent are some of the very best I have of both of my girls. I'm so used to getting partial-body, proof-of-life hostage pictures from pet sitters (IYKYK) that her work was a fabulous surprise!! This was my first time using Tricia and won't be my last.

Rachel was amazing with our dog and two cats. You can tell right away how much she truly cares about animals. Our dog got all the exercise and attention she needs, and our cats were happy and relaxed. Rachel was great about checking in and sending photos, which we really appreciated — it made being away so much easier. We felt totally comfortable knowing our pets were in such good hands. They all love her, and we would absolutely book with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
