“Heidi is our go to person to watch our kitties while we are away! She is very communicative, and takes such good photos to know our furry kids are taken care of while we are away :) We wouldn't hesitate to have Heidi continue to come and care for our cats in the future!”

“Sarah helped us for a few weeks and she was extremely professional, on time, courteous and friendly. Our dog is old and didn’t require playing (she wouldn’t even if you tried) but Sarah was definitely willing. I’d use her again without question.”
“Kristin was wonderful and made it very clear that she cared about our kitty and his wellbeing! He is on medication right now and doesn’t cooperate very well, but she was able to get it in him :) would definitely recommend booking her. Thank you, Kristin!!”

“Absolutely the best care for our cat that we have ever had! Complete peace of mind while we were on a long vacation. Daily check ins were so reassuring!! We will definitely use Lindy and Seth for our upcoming trips! Thank you again, so much!!”
“This was our second booking with Patricia, and she’s just incredible. This request came together on relatively short notice, and she responded quickly, even late at night, which we really appreciated. Even for a brief one-day booking, she was thoughtful, conscientious, and genuinely engaged with our cats. Her updates were detailed, funny, and reassuring, with lots of great photos. We feel very lucky to have found her and so lucky she’s nearby..”

“Paige was a wonderful sitter! She was so kind and communicative, leaving us great updates and pictures from her visits. We didn’t worry about our boys at all! Would definitely recommend Paige😺”

About: Hi! I’m Isabelle, and if there’s an animal in the room, chances are you’ll find me hanging out with it. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, belly rubs, or your cat prefers a quiet companion and some extra treats, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. I know every pet has their own personality, and I love getting to know what makes each one special. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members and spoil them with lots of love and attention! I have a very flexible schedule and am able to accommodate a wide range of days and times, including weekdays, weekends, and last minute requests when needed. I’m happy to work around your schedule to make sure your pets get consistent, reliable care whenever you need it I care for pets by sticking closely to their normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed. This includes feeding them on schedule, making sure they get exercise and playtime, keeping their space clean, and giving them lots of love and attention. I always pay close attention to their behavior and needs so they stay happy and comfortable while their owners are away.
About: I have taken care of my family pets since I was little. In high school I took care of neighbor’s dogs and others who needed the extra hand in taking dogs for walks and making sure they had food, water, and were happy. I have a full time job and usually work 8 hours during the day Sunday-Thursday. I am available in the mornings and evenings during those days, Friday afternoons, and all day Saturdays. While taking care of clients pets, I will make sure they have plenty of water, food, exercise, and all instructions the owners leave are followed. I care for all animal's health and well-being and will go out of my way to make sure they are taken care of how their owners would want them and how I would take care of my own pets.
About: I am a patient and attentive sitter, and will do my absolute best to meet all of your pets' needs while they are in my care. I will treat your furry friends as well as I would treat my own. I love to go on walks and play, and of course I love to snuggle as well! I am currently working part time, and will have plenty of time to feed, walk, and care for your pets! I hope to make them feel as at home as they usually do. I will have fluctuating flexibility, as I am also a part time Certified Nursing Assistant. I will keep my undivided attention on your pets if/when I take the outside. I will make sure to keep a harness/leash on at all times while outside, unless in a fenced in area like the backyard or a dog park. I will keep them reined in close to me while on walks to avoid ay possible altercations with other dogs. I will keep unsafe foods (grapes, chocolate, garlic, etc.) away from the pets.
“Kate did a fantastic job watching our cats while we were away! She was super attentive when she came to meet them, left detailed notes after each visit, was very punctual with her visit times and the cats looked very happy in the pictures she sent us. We came back to very happy cats :)”

“Pat was flexible with some unforeseen changes and willing to help out if she could. Good communication, even crawled next to the bed where one of my cats was hiding to give her some love. My other cat wasn't as shy and Pat gave her lots of love and belly rubs.”

About: I have been dog and cat sitting for over 10yrs. I usually stay at the owners house. Experienced with dogs with medical issues, and high anxiety. I have given medications and have done some training. I have done just overnight stays, but have also done 3month long stays. I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. I am not married and have no children, so I am completely available and focused on your pet. I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.
About: Retired but a “young” 61 . Lost my dog this year and can’t have pets where I currently live so I’ve been getting my cat and dog fixes watching family and friends pets ! I’m a new Grandma so expect your pet to be spoiled and get lots of attention - love if they want to sleep with me . I can do overnight, day sitting or drop in at your house . Will meet you prior and check my references- I will do a good job for you and you can relax while away ! I’m retired so my time is my own -7 day a week availability-and I can hang with your pet all day if wanted - will walk and take outside to potty Sadly my dog passed recently- I’ve stayed at my sisters many times with her dogs —one is a senior and one is a puppy - big fenced yard and lots of in and out . About: I care for my family’s dog, Moxie, every day alongside my siblings. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure he stays happy, active, and comfortable. What sets me apart is that I understand every pet has different needs and routines. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to following your instructions closely so your pet receives the same care and consistency they’re used to at home. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply having company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ve also cared for small pets in the past and have always enjoyed spending time with animals. My goal is to provide dependable care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands. I’m currently a college student and work part-time during the summer, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week. My work schedule varies from week to week, but because I work part-time, I have plenty of availability for drop-in visits, walks, and quality time with your pets. I typically know my schedule in advance and do my best to accommodate pet care requests whenever possible. I’m also usually available on weekends and enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs, whether that’s going for walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. I’ve always been an animal lover….I’m usually the one in the corner spending more time with the pets than the people at family gatherings! In fact, I even made a PowerPoint presentation to convince my family to get our goldendoodle, Moxie. My priority is making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and needs, follow instructions carefully, and provide consistent, reliable care. Whether I’m stopping by for a visit or taking your dog on a walk, I’ll treat them like my own, with patience, attention, playtime, and affection. I also respect my clients’ homes and will care for your pet and belongings responsibly while you’re away.
“We were looking for a last-minute dog sitter on a holiday weekend, and Christina responded to us within a minute and moved forward quickly with getting the pups. She sent pictures and kept us updated, would recommend!”

“Leah was absolutely awesome with my cats! She shared pictures every day, and I could tell how well they were adjusting to having her come in. She fed them, changed their water, scooped litter - everything that needed to be done (even cleaning up after them when they opened up cupboards and pulled out food to eat!). I will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 2,789 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Deephaven. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Deephaven. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
