About: I have been dog and cat sitting for over 10yrs. I usually stay at the owners house. Experienced with dogs with medical issues, and high anxiety. I have given medications and have done some training. I have done just overnight stays, but have also done 3month long stays. I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. I am not married and have no children, so I am completely available and focused on your pet. I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.

About: I've been caring for others pets since I was 10yo. Prissy & Ginger (a Boston Terrier & a Pug) were my first loves as I would walk my neighbors dogs for companionship when I could not have my own. As an adult, I still pet-sit for friends and family, most frequently a 5yo Tamaskan when his owner travels. I was a part-time vet-tech in college and work in a (human) clinic as an adult, so I understand special needs, different medications, and the roll of compassion for all conditions. I work out of the home all week, so can accomodate unique schedule needs. My home has 3 areas that a pet can be isolated from others, if needed. I also have a large (unfenced) yard for endless roaming and sniffing, and a 2nd story deck overlooking my back acre for fun and safe wildlife viewing for leisurely sunny afternoons. I'm around the house most times while I work out of the home. Unique schedules can be easily managed, and special dietary or medical needs tended to. When I have appointments, dogs are welcome to come along if they love car rides - I have a special back compartment in my SUV with windows on 3 sides to catch all the action! In boarding other peoples pets, I do my best to keep their usual routine to maximize their comfort and minimize stress while mom/dad are away. I have several spaces that can be closed off for isolation if needed for care, sleeping or feeding separately, or they can have the whole house to roam, if that is their preference. My resident cat lives in my office when we have guests, since he's not the social type. And I have a maximum of two additional (non-related) visitors at a time for utmost attention and greatest freedom. We can explore the yard and spend a little time walking, chewing, pulling, and fetching - bring your own favorite toys if you like, we'll play with those! If limiting roaming space (mischief space?) is ideal, I have a baby gate - we can segregate off the lower level, upper level, kitchen, laundry room, any of 3 bedrooms only or whatever configuration works best.

You will receive pictures and regular updates while your dog is with us, so you can be reassured your pets are having a wonderful vacation too. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members! My husband works from home. I work from home at times and we have two older kids who are often home to help too. We are never away for more than 4 hours at a time. We follow the owner’s preferences. We will use leashes, harnesses, etc. when on walks. We will administer medications as needed. Dogs can sleep in our beds.

About: I’ve taken care of high-needs pets and am comfortable administering medicines. I’m very familiar with DM, seizure disorders, doing rehab for TPLO surgery for a dog, and other high needs. I enjoy being outdoors year-round and have open availability to care for your pet. I’d love to explore local parks and trails with your dogs! I’m currently our home’s manager and am home all day. My child is in daycare so I have open availability to love on your pets. I will use any leash/ harness requested to walk your dog, and I will pick up after them. About: I've lived on a homestead taking care of farm animals including dogs, cats, goats, horses, chickens, and much more! My parents bred and trained AKC Labradors and Beagles for wild game hunting. I became a farm hand for a local barn in New Hampshire at the age of 14. Once I was 16 I started overnight caretaking for horses, dogs, and cats. I have experience training puppies and rescue dogs with my parents. I also own amphibians and non conventional pets so I'm familiar with exotic caretaking. I'm currently dog sitting/walking/feedings fulltime. I'll have plenty of time during the day to play with your pets and take them outside for potty breaks. I live in apartment that does not allow cats or dogs so any pet sitting will have to be done at your home. I have my own private insurance alongside Rover Garantee. I will need a full tour of your yard if it's fenced, to make sure there aren't any means of escaping. A full detailed care sheet that includes the pet's schedule, behavioral concerns (a must), vitamins or medications schedule, prefered place to walk or run (typical place you go to help understand your pet's public behavior and help form trust with them. I will always learn your pet's behavior in a controlled and comfortable environment first. Then if you approve, we can eventually go on hikes. The more detail I have about your pet, the better their transition will be in my care. Trust and Safety is my top priority when caring for a family member that can't speak.
