About: I have been dog and cat sitting for over 10yrs. I usually stay at the owners house. Experienced with dogs with medical issues, and high anxiety. I have given medications and have done some training. I have done just overnight stays, but have also done 3month long stays. I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. I am not married and have no children, so I am completely available and focused on your pet. I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.

About: I am a patient and attentive sitter, and will do my absolute best to meet all of your pets' needs while they are in my care. I will treat your furry friends as well as I would treat my own. I love to go on walks and play, and of course I love to snuggle as well! I am currently working part time, and will have plenty of time to feed, walk, and care for your pets! I hope to make them feel as at home as they usually do. I will have fluctuating flexibility, as I am also a part time Certified Nursing Assistant. I will keep my undivided attention on your pets if/when I take the outside. I will make sure to keep a harness/leash on at all times while outside, unless in a fenced in area like the backyard or a dog park. I will keep them reined in close to me while on walks to avoid ay possible altercations with other dogs. I will keep unsafe foods (grapes, chocolate, garlic, etc.) away from the pets.

About: I grew up with a west highland white terrier named Duffy. He was my best friend! When I go on walks with my husband I have to pet every dog I see. Dogs seem to really like me. I am a freelance writer/editor, and I also do sewing repair jobs, so my schedule is flexible. If I have to come to your home twice a day and you are within my area, taking care of your pet should fit into my schedule nicely. I will come to your home twice a day to care for your pet. I will make sure your pet is fed, watered, and gets any necessary medications, and I will spend time with them so they aren't lonely or bored. I will lock up your house with the key or code you provide me and follow any instructions for lighting/temperature, etc.

I strive to find what works for each pet as an individual. I have experience caring for elderly dogs, administering oral medication, and working with multiple pets. I’ve cared for a range of dogs—from picky eaters and nervous, anxious dogs that preferred a consistent schedule and energetic dogs with mischievous streaks. Working with such different dogs has helped me become flexible and responsive to a wide range of temperaments and care requirements. As a college student home for the summer, I’m currently working part-time, and my hours are somewhat inconsistent (with a trend towards more availability in the evenings), however taking time off would be no problem for me should it be required, given there’s sufficient advance notice. When caring for pets in a client's home, I always prioritize following any provided instructions and established routines. In this respect, I especially appreciate detailed care notes, as they help me provide the most consistent and personalized care possible. Every pet is different, and I believe clients know their pets best. At the same time, I use good judgment and common-sense safety practices to ensure pets remain safe, healthy, and comfortable while their parents are away. I am patient, attentive, and observant, and I make it a priority to learn each pet's personality, preferences, and needs. Whatever that means, I aim to adapt my care to what will help each pet feel most at ease. I also value staying in contact with pet parents throughout their time away, as much as their availability and preferences allow. About: Experience raising a puppy. I cater to pups of all sizes and energy levels. My dog is not in a crate but we did crate train him I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to work from home most days. I anm available for potty breaks, walks, snuggles, or playing fetch. I have a large, unfenced yard but I do have a long lead we can use if necessary. I can use a crate if your dog is crate trained. I’m familiar to and accommodating of specialty diets. Rico and I love walks and running at the dog park down the road!
