Finding someone who can handle a young, high-energy dog is crucial, and Jeremiah exceeded all our expectations. I have given medications and have done some training. I have done just overnight stays, but have also done 3month long stays. I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. About: Throughout my life I have lived with nine cats and one dog! One of my cats lived to be 24 and I am currently living with a 17-year-old cat, so I have experience with cats of all ages, from kittens all the way to seniors! I love caring for cats of all ages. I know how to give a cat oral and liquid medications and I have even done in-home hospice care where I gave my cat subcutaneous fluids. I have also trained some of my cats to go outside on a harness. Of course I enjoy playing with cats and just chilling with them too! I also grew up with a west highland white terrier named Duffy. We currently have Loki, our friendly 5-year-old Golden Retriever, who loves other dogs, playing outside, and spending time with our two boys. Boarding with us means your dog will be welcomed into a real home — not treated like just another booking. We only board one dog at a time, which allows us to give your dog plenty of attention, keep the environment calm, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. We do not have a fenced yard, but we have a large, wooded yard (.6 acres) where dogs can safely enjoy time outside on a lead. We also live right by a regional walking/biking trail, so frequent walks and outdoor time are easy and part of our routine. I am comfortable caring for all dogs, including senior dogs, rescue dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I have experience giving medications, crate training, leash walking, basic obedience, and helping dogs settle into a new environment. I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.
About: Hi! My name is Hattie. I have been caring for all sorts of animals since I was a little girl. I am comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, health issues, behavioral issues. You name it and I’m up for it! I have experience caring for small, medium, and large dogs as well as puppies and senior dogs. I myself have a large variety of pets- many with very different needs and a few of my guys have medical /health issues that need maintaining/monitoring. About: I have always loved animals, whether it be a mouse or a horse. I also love to help people out, especially with dogs and cats. I’ve babysat one dog long-term (about 6 months), and I have been babysitting the same dog for about 2 years, since he was a 8 week old puppy. I also had a dog who passed away a few years ago, and had to take care of her in her senior years and help her get up as she had hip problems. In between dog-sitting, I did babysit dogs for a week, and usually wouldn’t mix dogs unless owners were okay with it. (these owners were from my work or teachers from my high school). I am currently attending college in Duluth. However, I do come home quite a bit Fridays-Mondays. In the summer, I will be very flexible though! I take dogs out on leashes as it makes me feel most comfortable but fenced in yards while watching the dog also makes me feel comfy as well.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, helping my parents take care of them growing up. In highschool I got a job at a pet hotel and worked there for a year. This was a great experience, I got to see how dogs interact with each other and learned how to take care of different types of dogs. I have also helped house sit some of our family friends dogs. I am home from college and have most days free. I am available most of the days and am happy to work whenever I am needed. I can not watch any dogs in my house. However, I will take good care of your pets in your house. I will follow any instructions given and help keep your pet feel as comfortable as possible.
