“My boyfriend and I had Ed watch our cat and dog while we were traveling, and Ed was nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and flexible in working with us to meet our pet's needs. Ed clearly enjoys being with animals, and naturally spoils your pets like they are his own. Highly recommend Ed to anyone, as myself and my boyfriend anticipate asking for his assistance in the future!”

“Olivia did a wonderful job with our 2 cats while we were gone for a week. She was on time and always spent time with the cats as well as sending a quick note and pics of them. We will use her again if needed.”

“What a live safer to know Jan was coming to check on my sweet old anxiety-ridden girl. I’m grateful to have had such a caring person spend time with her. Thanks, Jan!”
“Anne was an amazing sitter for our two kitties! She was punctual with her visits and would leave notes/pictures every time. We felt very comfortable leaving our cats with her and we will 100% use her again if available!”

“Kayla was responsive on short-notice, took great care of our cat, Phoebe, and provided updates! We appreciated Kayla and her knowledge/experience, and will book her again in the future for not only our cat, but also our two dogs!”

About: I volunteer with my local animal rescue. I’ve loved animals my whole life and want nothing more than to keep them healthy and happy :) I work a full time 9-5 job so unfortunately I am only available on weekends and in the evening on weekdays. Otherwise I would have a pet of my own! I have a fenced in yard and a very walkable, safe neighborhood. I have watched friends pets so my house is dog/cat safe even though I don’t have a pet of my own.

“Autumn has been such a lifesaver this week, stopping by for walks and pets with my 2 dogs. I had been worried about them adjusting to being home alone for longer periods of time. Autumn has been very prompt each day, and provided updates and photos. My dogs are having a good time and adapting well to the change. I highly recommend Autumn!”
“Jordana took perfect care of our high energy dogs when I reached out due to work travel! They clearly enjoyed her presence and were so happy in all of the photos. We will be using her again!”

“Lizzy was lovely to work with! I was so excited to see that my cat with stranger danger immediately came out for Lizzy. I will absolutely be booking with Lizzy again!”

“Leanne was absolutely fabulous to work with and she took such good care of our cat! He even let her brush his belly, surprise! We so appreciate that she even took our mail in and the trashcan. Leanne send us pictures every day and we knew Finn was in really good hands. Thank you so so much!”

“Tia was absolutely awesome! She has a way with animals and even my shy cat liked her. She did her job just as asked and provided reassuring updates while we were away.”

“Joey was great. She handled the special medicine put kitties needed and fed them separately. She made sure she undid what they needed and provided excellent communication. Thanks!”

“Nicole took wonderful care of my sick kitty while I was on vacation. I was initially concerned about leaving Hazel’s care with someone I didn’t know, but Nicole alleviated those concerns with daily updates, pictures, adjusting to changes in Hazel’s medications, bringing in different foods for Hazel to try urging her to eat, and all of the snuggles! I would definitely trust Nicole to look after my kitty again!”
“Thank you for checking on our cats while we were out of town! It gave us so much peace of mind to know someone was checking on them consistently and spending quality time with them while we could not.”

About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs and cats alongside my parents and siblings. We had 3 Labrador Retriever dogs (two chocolate Labs, one yellow) and two cats. I walked, fed, and played with the Labs, and fed/managed the litter box for the cats. Since graduating high school, I have done pet sitting and walking for dogs and cats of friends and family members I am a stay-at-home mom, so my days consist of baby care and watching pets/doing dog walks for family members and Rover customers! I can either bring my 9-month old with to a walk/drop in visit, or drop her off with dad, depending on the pet’s needs. I can do drop-in visits in your home and take care of whatever needs your pet has. I have reliable transportation, and am open to one-time or repeated scheduling.

Bec did a great job with our cats. She was there at the same time everyday and always had a nice informative note and pictures which was really appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for great care for their pets!

Autumn did a wonderful job taking care of my kitty Ross while I was away. She followed my instructions perfectly and sent me updates. I came home to a very happy kitty! I highly recommend Autumn to all pet owners who are looking for a fantastic and reliable sitter! Thank you Autumn!

Katrin is wonderful with our kitties. We have used her multiple times and every time she is on time, communicates well, takes time with the kitties, plays with them, takes wonderful pictures and provides a nice recap after her visits. She is a very sweet with them.

Leaving a pet behind when traveling is always stressful, especially with a senior cat. We truly appreciated the care Rosemarie and Gerald provided while we were away. They were reliable, followed the agreed schedule and went above and beyond what was expected. Trustworthy, kind, and wonderful people - we couldn’t have asked for better pet sitters.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eden Prairie. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
