About: I was lucky to grow up in a dog-loving family. We had an high-energy English setter named Cooper growing up, and my parents currently have a sweet golden retriever Bodie who is 11. They also had another golden Louie who we lost unexpectedly this past summer ❤️‍🩹 We miss him a ton. I lived with my parents and helped raise Bodie and Louie and now have a 6-month old golden of my own Sonny! (Can you tell we love a golden retriever?) Our pups have given me great experience caring for high energy dogs as well as calm ones. As a dog walker I will make sure your pup gets exercise and is taken care of when we get back home. Nothing is more important to me than making sure your fur babies get the love and care they deserve. I also have had experience house and dog sitting for families when they are on vacation. I will make sure your pets have ample time to roam around, as well as guarantee that your home is clean and taken care of when you are out of town on weekends. I currently work full time remotely, so I am available early mornings, lunch, or evenings and weekends. Depending on the circumstances I do have some flexibility to stop by and check on your pet midday. I live in a two-story twin home with a good amount of living space for your pet to roam around, yet is still contained for their safety. I have a fenced in backyard and live in an area with great, safe walking trails! Along with that, I also have a 6-month old golden retriever puppy who loves to play with other dogs!

About: My husband and I grew up with dogs our whole lives and we owned a small dog for 15 years. We are often one our neighbors and relatives call when they need a pet sitter. We are excited to meet new dogs and families and offer pet care. Our home is warm and welcoming and we like to give pets a lot of attention. You will receive pictures and regular updates while your dog is with us, so you can be reassured your pets are having a wonderful vacation too. We are never away for more than 4 hours at a time. We follow the owner’s preferences. We will use leashes, harnesses, etc. when on walks. We will administer medications as needed. Dogs can sleep in our beds.

At home, we have a golden retriever service dog, so I’m well-versed in daily care routines and handling dogs with real responsibilities. I’ve been the go-to neighborhood dog walker for years — big dogs, small dogs, all of them — and I’m now excited to bring that experience onto Rover officially. Animals have always been a huge part of my life; I even donated our wedding money to the local humane society because giving back to animals matters that much to me. I have availability weekdays from 9am to 3pm, which makes it easy to fit in walks, drop-ins, or midday visits during the workweek. On weekends I have more limited availability, but I’m happy to work with you on scheduling when I can. I try to keep a flexible, reliable routine so your pet’s care stays consistent, whether it’s a quick walk or a longer visit. Since I focus on walks and drop-in visits rather than boarding, all care happens in the client’s home and neighborhood. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and attention as my own — making sure doors and gates are secured, following the pet’s normal routine, and keeping food, water, and medications exactly as instructed. On walks, I keep dogs leashed and under control at all times, paying attention to their comfort level around other people, pets, and traffic. I always leave the home as clean and secure as I found it.
