About: Experience raising a puppy. I cater to pups of all sizes and energy levels. My dog is not in a crate but we did crate train him I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to work from home most days. I anm available for potty breaks, walks, snuggles, or playing fetch. I have a large, unfenced yard but I do have a long lead we can use if necessary. I can use a crate if your dog is crate trained. I’m familiar to and accommodating of specialty diets. Rico and I love walks and running at the dog park down the road!

About: Even though my dog is the first dog I raised, my uncle has had dogs since I could remember. I would play with his dogs all the time. I have also looked after an 8 week old puppy for a few days and then traveled with the puppy from MN to OH. I am currently in graduate school and would be offering services on my breaks. So I will be available for your pet at any point of the day. I take my own dog on walks and/or to the dog park on a daily. There is a big lake near me where my dog (and my neighbors’ dogs) love to walk by. I also have a big yard that my dog loves to sniff and run around in. My dog is very dog friendly and able to play with dogs of all sizes and loves to play with them. I have a very big fenced yard and a very friendly lab, who would keep your fur baby company. I can also crate if needed.

About: I've grown up with both dogs and cats, so I've been around pets my entire life and have experience with a variety of personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. Caring for animals has always been a part of my daily life, and I've learned how important patience, consistency, and attention are to keeping pets happy and comfortable. I've also pet sat for friends and family on multiple occasions, and they continue to rely on me to care for their pets when they're away. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I also have a dog named Maylo, who has taught me even more about the responsibility and commitment that comes with being a pet owner. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and my goal is always to provide loving, dependable care so owners can have peace of mind while they're away. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule during some days! I do have work and classes during certain parts of the week, but outside of those scheduled commitments, I’m generally available and happy to accommodate your pets’ routine as much as I can. I’ll always communicate my availability clearly beforehand and make sure your pups get plenty of attention, care, and companionship while you’re away! :) I do not offer my home as a stay because I currently have a dog, and he doesn’t get along with other dogs but I’m happy to stay at the owners home! I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved from the moment I arrive to their house, I understand that’s THEIR space and I’m a guest. I take care of them just like I would like my little Maylo (my dog) to be taken care of. I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions their owner provides. I know that every pet is different, so I take the time to understand their personality and needs. Whether your pet enjoys being active or prefers to cuddle and relax, I'll make sure they receive the care and affection they deserve while you're away.

About: Pets make life better! They are family. If they behave well, they should be spoiled! I have always had dogs. I grew with up with dogs and now I have my own. I have never owned a cat because my mom is allergic, but I really enjoy them! I care for my friends two cats frequently. I love caring for, playing, and walking animals! I love getting outside to walk. I also love playing fetch and tug of war. I also enjoy playing with feather or ribbon cat toys! I am good with any age animal. They all need love and attention! My dog is 2, so I have been through the puppy stage recently. He has a lot of energy so I know how much exercise dogs need.

About: I grew up with dogs, lizards and cats and even hamsters, bearded dragons and birds. I know how to take care of a variety of animals. I am a lover of all animals! I have a full time job but I am free in the evenings, weekends, and I work remote during the day Monday and Friday to take care of animals. In my personal life, I feed my cat in the morning and night, clean her litter box every other day and play with her daily. I will follow the instructions given and make sure I am aware of the expectations going into the clients home. I am a very responsible and accountable person.

About: Welcome! Hi! I'm Laura, and I'd love to care for your dog like they're part of the family. My home features a large, fully fenced backyard, giving dogs plenty of room to run, play, sniff, and burn off energy in a safe environment. Your pup will also have the opportunity to socialize with my two friendly Old English Sheepdogs. I believe every dog deserves individual attention, plenty of playtime, and lots of affection. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet place to relax, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved during their stay. Meet My Dogs 🐾 Remy (5 years old) Remy is my energetic male Old English Sheepdog. He absolutely loves meeting new people and dogs! During introductions he can get very excited, which means he may bark and pull on the leash at first. Once he's had a chance to say hello, he settles down nicely and is eager to make a new friend. 🐾 Sylvie (8 years old) Sylvie is my sweet female Old English Sheepdog who loves people. She can sometimes experience a little social anxiety when meeting unfamiliar dogs, so I always make introductions carefully. She is also afraid of children (we're actively working on building her confidence), so I ask that children give her plenty of respectful space during meet and greets. Meet & Greets I highly recommend scheduling a meet and greet before your dog's first stay. This gives everyone a chance to get acquainted, ensures your dog is comfortable with my home and dogs, and helps make the boarding experience as stress-free as possible. A note about independence: I love spending time with my guest dogs and giving them plenty of affection, playtime, and attention throughout their stay. However, I’m best suited for dogs who can also settle and relax independently. I work from home and need to be able to sleep, work, cook, and take care of things around the house without a dog continuously demanding attention, whining, barking for attention, pawing at me, or needing to follow me from room to room at all times. If your dog is a “Velcro dog” who becomes distressed or persistently vocal when they aren’t receiving direct attention, my home probably won’t be the best fit. Dogs should be comfortable relaxing on their own for periods of time while I’m elsewhere in the house. Of course, they’ll still receive lots of love and attention throughout their stay. I just need my four-legged guests to understand that sometimes it’s independent relaxation time. Late Drop-off & Pick-up Policy: A 30-minute grace period is provided. Drop-offs or pick-ups more than 30 minutes after the scheduled time will incur a $25 late fee for each hour or portion of an hour. Please notify me as soon as possible if you're running late. Optional Grooming & Care Add-Ons If you'd like your pup to go home looking and feeling their best, I also offer these optional services: - Nail grinding: $20 per dog - Bath: Starting at $30 (price varies by coat size and length) - Teeth brushing: $10 - Ear cleaning: $15 - Dematting & brushing: $30 per hour (for heavily matted or thick-coated dogs; time varies depending on coat condition) If you have any questions about my home, my dogs, or your dog's stay, feel free to reach out. About: Ive taken care of many family friends Dogs over the past 2 years. This has involved staying the night, going on walks, feeding meals, properly managing medications, playing fetch, keeping the house clean, and of course lots of cuddles! I have cared for small dogs as well as larger dogs such as golden retrievers and labs. I also have a beautiful Siamese cat named Romeo, so I have lots of experience taking care of cats as well! I am currently a senior attending the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, but I am commuting from home which is about 20 minutes south of Minneapolis. Im on campus until about 2 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Other than that I am available to work! For care including simple walks or potty breaks, I would only need about a 24 hour notice. For overnight stays I would prefer a 1-2 week notice so I can plan accordingly! For caring for your pets in your home, I will prioritize what you feel comfortable with whether thats me keeping a constant eye on your pet while they use the bathroom/play in the yard or making sure your pets don't enter certain rooms. I will also make sure your pets have a clean, comfortable space and that any specific instructions you provide are followed carefully!
