“Sure! Here’s a short review you can use: Alyssa was wonderful and took excellent care of avila. She is kind, attentive, and clearly has a natural way with animals. Cola was well-accompanied and comfortable during her visits. I truly appreciate Alyssa’s care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter!”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my entire life, and can’t think of anything more joyful than having animals around to play with and love on. I work full time from home, and have flexibility to take lots of breaks during the day. We love going on walks, hikes and have two children who also love to help out! We are set up with a crate and/or dog beds if needed, as well as all the other gear that goes along with having furry friends around.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been a dedicated dog owner for over 8 years. For the past 3 years, I’ve also fostered pups, giving me experience with a wide range of temperaments and styles. I’m comfortable with everything from high energy personalities to shy or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable with senior dogs (my last pup was 18!), puppies and everything in between. At this time, I’m focusing on small and medium sized dogs so they will be the best match for my own dogs and I can provide the best care possible. I work full time from home and am available to board in my house anytime for most lengths of time. Lots of time to play with your pup! Right now, I’m open to hosting small and medium pups—as they are the best matches for my own dogs. One of my little ones loves to go for walks (weather permitting) and we’d love for your pup to tag along! If the weather is bad, my yard is perfect for zoomies, ball/toy chasing, neighbor watching and basking in the sun. I have 2 of my own small pups (one that is a couch potato and the other loves to play, but isn’t pushy) and work from home so we are together all the time! We walk often—in the morning, at lunch and in evenings. I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks with lots of toys and enrichment. I am home most of the time, but would contain (kennel or pen if needed) when I leave and I’m also open to pups that aren’t kenneled but safe to leave out (I’d put away my own dogs).
“Val is incredibly responsible and a good communicator! So thankful we found her—her flexible schedule and experience with dogs who are high energy/anxious was so great!”

“Brooke took great care of our dog and cat! She was reliable and thoughtful, and stayed with our dog until he ate each visit. Our grouchy cat even enjoyed her company and purred for her when she came over!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life; 24 years of working with horses and dogs will do that to you! At this point, caring for pets just feels like second nature to me. I offer drop ins, walks, and overnight stays at your place or mine, and a home that's genuinely calm and quiet. I'm most comfortable with dogs but am happy to care for cats or other small furry friends with guidance. I treat every pet like they're my own and want you to feel truly at-ease when they are under my care. I know handing your pet off to someone new can feel nerve-wracking. My goal is to make that as easy as possible. You'll hear from me, your pet will be happy, and you can actually enjoy your time away. I currently work full-time, so weekends will be easier for me to help care for your pet! Since I’m a teacher, semester breaks will allow me more free time and weekdays off to also help out with your sweet fur baby. Whether I'm coming to you or you're dropping off with me, your pet gets the same attentive, relaxed care either way. At my place, they'll have a calm, quiet home to settle into; no chaos, just comfort. When I'm at yours, I keep their routine as normal as possible so they barely notice you're gone. Walks, cuddles, feeding, and everything in between, I've got it handled ☺️
About: Hi, I’m Katya. I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner. I currently have a dog, two cats, and a gecko, and I’ve cared for pets most of my life. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I also know how stressful it is to leave them behind. I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, companionship, medication administration when needed, litter box cleaning, and photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, active play, or simply having someone sit with them, I adapt my care to their individual needs. During the school year, I work as an Occupational Therapist, and I have summers and school breaks off, which gives me additional flexibility and availability for pet care. I am dependable, organized, and attentive to details, and I understand the importance of following routines and instructions exactly as requested. I will also treat your home with the same respect and care that I would want someone to show mine. I am happy to remove my shoes, follow household instructions, keep things tidy, and let you know promptly if I notice anything unusual or concerning while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust someone with both your pets and your home. My goal is to provide reliable care so you can feel confident that everything is being looked after while you’re gone. I’m a teacher and off for the summer. I stay active with my dog and an 8yo son. I’m always on a go and love staying busy. Taking care of your furry friends will bring me joy and purpose. I can check on your pups/kitties when you are away. I’ll follow your instructions and give them love/pets/treats. I’ll be respectful of your home and leave it intact.
About: I used to own two Cavaliers, and have taken care of numerous dogs on behalf of friends/family, including dog sitting for my sister's high anxiety rescue dog. I find that a calm, patient demeanor can win over even the most stranger-wary dog. I am in the process of changing careers, so am taking classes, which meet mostly online. Aside from the few hours a week when I volunteer to work with special-needs children in therapeutic horseback riding, my schedule is very flexible, including nights/weekends. Mornings? Evenings? Last minute? No problem. I think of pets as family, and will treat your pet like my family. (Don't worry, that's a good thing!) As a horseback rider, I find the skills of working with our animal friends transfer easily. Regardless of species, they enjoy human attention/affection, engagement and are often much smarter than we give them credit for.
“Maddy stopped by my home, on time, for our first in-person meet & greet. The visit was short and to the point, within that short time Maddy showed the love and kindness she has for dogs, my dogs will be in good hands with Maddy.”

“This is your sign to hire Shannon for all your pet care and pet sitting needs! Her Rover cards are the highlight of my day when I’m out of town. She is so thorough and cares for my cat, Sodapop, as if she were her own fur baby.”

About: I am a trained dog walker for a respected organization in South Minneapolis. I care for all dogs like they are my own, and will respect how you wish me to handle your dog. Home baked cookies for home stays three days or longer .Currently not accepting dogs with severe behavioral problems. I am working part time so lots of time to play with your pup. Short or long walks however your doggie prefers. Maybe they prefer naps on the couch? All good! I am currently not available Monday or Tuesday mornings. No fenced yard, smallish apartment but other dogs I’ve watched haven’t seemed to mind. I may bring your pup along to visit my mom, she has a friendly, vaccinated Shih Tzu. Your dog may also get an in-person house concert- I play cello.
“Seth was fantastic! He stayed over the time promised and got my very shy cats to come out. The place was left in great shape - water and food was full and litter was clean. Would deff hire Seth again and highly recommend!!!”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life, from the day I was born, my family has owned dogs. I have grown up taking care for, and loving dogs with my whole heart. From rescues to seniors I have seen it all! There hasn’t been a moment of my life without them. I am currently a trainee with the San Francisco Ballet and am back in Minnesota for the summer. I have ballet class almost every day, usually from about 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., although the exact schedule can vary depending on the day. Other than class, I have a flexible schedule and can easily fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any other care your pet may need. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for. When staying in a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any other needs. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention. I also keep owners updated so they know their pets are doing well while they are away.
“Rob was fantastic with Chili, our very excited puppy. He came over several times during a few day stretch, and made a special bond with him during their play times. Very responsive and flexible. We’ll definitely use Rob again!”

“Brynn took good care of my cat while I was away. She made sure the litter box was cleaned and gave my cat more food & fresh water. She couldn’t brush my cat though since she was hiding under my bed. Thanks Brynn!”

Edina dog parents share their Rover experiences
Absolutely amazing! Thank you for taking such good care of our pups while we were out of town! Each dog was treated special - with our young pup getting lots of extra walking/ jogging and rubs and our senior pup given the chance to “get up” when he was ready and getting lots of opportunities to stop and smell to his hearts desire. Awesome job! wWe plan to rebook soon!

This was the first time my husband and I used Rover and we lucked out finding Annalise! From the Meet & Greet, she was so helpful orienting us to the Rover app and she is incredibly knowledgable about dog behaviors and safety. She is so so thoughtful and loving with our pup- giving him so much love, snuggles, and time to play and be himself. She even gave him an ear, neck, and shoulder massage during one of the drop ins and let him choose his favorite snack from her box of snacks she keeps in her car for all the pups she cares for. Her communication is top tier and she is so diligent with her Rover notes. We could not be more grateful to know our pup is being cared for by someone so considerate, responsible, and caring!

Michaela was great. I was delayed 24 hrs from original return time due to widespread travel delays and she was very flexible with the situation and amenable to helping in any way she could. From pics and updates she sent I could tell my guys were content. She was very communicative and I really appreciated her positive attitude while I navigated airport purgatory.

I would absolutely recommend Eleanor to everyone! She went above and beyond for Bowser - even cleaned up some accidents he got while being anxious home alone. She made my trip so much more relaxed knowing that Bowser was in the best hands. Thanks so much Ellie!!!

My boyfriend and I had Ed watch our cat and dog while we were traveling, and Ed was nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and flexible in working with us to meet our pet's needs. Ed clearly enjoys being with animals, and naturally spoils your pets like they are his own. Highly recommend Ed to anyone, as myself and my boyfriend anticipate asking for his assistance in the future!
