“This was the first time my husband and I used Rover and we lucked out finding Annalise! From the Meet & Greet, she was so helpful orienting us to the Rover app and she is incredibly knowledgable about dog behaviors and safety. She is so so thoughtful and loving with our pup- giving him so much love, snuggles, and time to play and be himself. She even gave him an ear, neck, and shoulder massage during one of the drop ins and let him choose his favorite snack from her box of snacks she keeps in her car for all the pups she cares for. Her communication is top tier and she is so diligent with her Rover notes. We could not be more grateful to know our pup is being cared for by someone so considerate, responsible, and caring!”

“We went on vacation for a week. I was very worried about our cat, George, who isn’t doing very well. I looked forward to the daily reports that we got when we were gone. She made a point of looking forward George each day, and we got daily pictures of them (even though they were only of them hiding under the bed). Shannon did everything that I asked, including bringing in the mail. Although we have no immediate plans to go on another vacation, I would definitely use Shannon’s services again.”

About: We are dog lovers with deep experience in dog-sitting and walking services. We regularly take care of our friends' pets and are experts in having fun and getting exercise at the dog park. Teri comes from a dog care and grooming family, while Paul brings more than 40 years of experience caring for, training and spoiling dogs of all shapes, sizes and colors. We have a fenced-in yard in the Kenny neighborhood, close to the Minnehaha Creek and other hiking paths. We only watch one dog (or bonded pair) at a time, so your pup will get all of the attention it deserves. Three of our dogs have had special health care needs. Two had Addison's Disease, meaning we are experienced at giving injections and oral medication. Our current pup, Nessie, is a smaller-sized standard poodle. She loves everyone and is a great co-host! Please let us know your dog's needs and how we can be of service. We look forward to meeting your pup soon! We are semi-retired and mostly work from home, meaning that we are highly available to provide walks, visits and boarding services. We are frequent visitors of the Airport dog park. We have a fenced-in back yard, which provides ample space for playtime with Nessie. We are semi-retired, which means we have ample time to provide attention to your four-footed friends.
About: I’ve had the pleasure of being a pet owner myself for over 9 years and have cared for family and friends pets for over 20 years, with experience with reactive dogs specifically, as well as puppies and seniors alike. I’m currently working from home with flexible hours that allow for convenience to step out for walks, feeding time or check-ins/play-time as needed, especially local to St. Louis Park, Hopkins and Minneapolis. As my own dog is reactive to other pets I will only be able to provide care in your home/walks or playtime outside. I have experience pet and house-sitting and am comfortable with fitting into your routine as easily and seamlessly as possible. I am always comfortable with any level of communication, check-ins/photo documentation, home camera systems, and proof of locked doors/house security.
About: i’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for two years, in addition I have my own five-year-old pup who I raised and means the world to me. I am patient and dependable, and will always treat your pet with the same attention and love I would want for my own! I am available weekdays and weekends and have flexible hours so I can accommodate if needed, but preferably mornings or afternoons and evenings work best! I have a friendly medium sized dog if they enjoy company otherwise I live right next to a park that they can have long or short leash walks in a very nice area!
“Heidi did such a wonderful job with our cats and our dog, that I’m 99% sure the puppy was disappointed when I came home. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again (and look forward to doing so soon!)”

“Maddy does a great job and is very reliable! She has watched my cat, Reuben Baker quite a bit and when I return he is always happy and healthy. Would highly recommend!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was little, from small to big, I have experimented with a range of different dogs and even cats! I’m a student but have time for dog walks in the evening and on the weekends, I can provide drop in services on the weekends as well. Your dogs safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow any care instructions closely, use secure leashes and harnesses, and stay alert to my surroundings at all times. I treat every dog as if they were my own and provide updates so you can feel confident and at ease while your pup is in my care.
“Cari-Ana has been extremely helpful and patient with my dog. He is very nervous, and she was gentle and patient with him. I feel extremely confident leaving my dog in her care! She is knowledgeable, caring, and great to work with!”

About: Our family currently has no pets of our own because our life is ever-shifting right now, but our love for animals has not gone away! Pet-sitting is the perfect way we’re able to show other people’s pets love until the day we can have our own again. I had 2 goofy rescue boxers for almost 10 yrs and loved them dearly. I have almost always had a cat throughout my entire life as well and love them equally! I do work 8-3p during the weekdays until mid-August until mid-May and then I’m off for the summer. Outside of some various activities with my boys we are around and able to love on your pet. I have 2 energetic boys that love animals, they are 9y and 10y and are eager to help out with caring for pets. My fiance, Andrew and I just moved in together and his 12 yr old twin boys are animal lovers too. We love going on walks as well as cuddling up and snuggling. I do prefer to have clients bring their own comfort item (toy, blanket, bed, etc), food bowls, and treats as each pet is so different and it provides them comfort to have that familiarity if you feel they need that.
“Tori did such a wonderful job with the house visits for my two cats when I went out of town. She's friendly, kind and my cats loved her. I will definitely be re-booking with her in the near future!”

“We had a great experience with Leanne! She was reliable, communicative, and made sure to send regular updates and photos, which we really appreciated while we were away. Highly recommended!”

Evelyn was great. We trusted her to enter our home and watch over Zues and Nova our two dogs while we were out of town and she did not dissapoint. Always gave updates and played with them. They both looked well taken care of We will be booking her in the future.
Lauren did an amazing job with our pets! We needed our cat Franklin + 2 geckos looked after while out of town, and she took care all of them like a pro. Communication was great, and consistent with every visit we had scheduled. She paid very close attention to every detail in our care instructions. It was a pleasure working with you, and we would love to have take care of our them again!

Absolutely amazing! Thank you for taking such good care of our pups while we were out of town! Each dog was treated special - with our young pup getting lots of extra walking/ jogging and rubs and our senior pup given the chance to “get up” when he was ready and getting lots of opportunities to stop and smell to his hearts desire. Awesome job! wWe plan to rebook soon!

Michaela was great. I was delayed 24 hrs from original return time due to widespread travel delays and she was very flexible with the situation and amenable to helping in any way she could. From pics and updates she sent I could tell my guys were content. She was very communicative and I really appreciated her positive attitude while I navigated airport purgatory.

I would absolutely recommend Eleanor to everyone! She went above and beyond for Bowser - even cleaned up some accidents he got while being anxious home alone. She made my trip so much more relaxed knowing that Bowser was in the best hands. Thanks so much Ellie!!!

My boyfriend and I had Ed watch our cat and dog while we were traveling, and Ed was nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and flexible in working with us to meet our pet's needs. Ed clearly enjoys being with animals, and naturally spoils your pets like they are his own. Highly recommend Ed to anyone, as myself and my boyfriend anticipate asking for his assistance in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
