About: I used to own two Cavaliers, and have taken care of numerous dogs on behalf of friends/family, including dog sitting for my sister's high anxiety rescue dog. I find that a calm, patient demeanor can win over even the most stranger-wary dog. I am in the process of changing careers, so am taking classes, which meet mostly online. Aside from the few hours a week when I volunteer to work with special-needs children in therapeutic horseback riding, my schedule is very flexible, including nights/weekends. Mornings? Evenings? Last minute? No problem. I think of pets as family, and will treat your pet like my family. (Don't worry, that's a good thing!) As a horseback rider, I find the skills of working with our animal friends transfer easily. Regardless of species, they enjoy human attention/affection, engagement and are often much smarter than we give them credit for.

I can also visit your cat and give it love and attention when you're away. We have a 16lb dog ourselves who is very dog friendly. I work from home so I am available any day from 8am - 7pm for walks or potty breaks. If your dog prefers running we can talk about running as an option! I have a fenced in yard with a fence high enough for small and medium sized dogs. Our 16lb 5 yr old dog is very dog friendly.

Lily was great with our cat Mochi. We could tell in the daily update photos that our cat was very relaxed and that she was enjoying the company. Lily was very professional and communicative. Each dog was treated special - with our young pup getting lots of extra walking/ jogging and rubs and our senior pup given the chance to “get up” when he was ready and getting lots of opportunities to stop and smell to his hearts desire. It is a relief when we know that Annalise can watch our cat when we are away. She’s very conscientious – she knows a lot about pets – in fact, she made a suggestion about my cat’s diet, which has really made an improvement – she does it in a nice humble way. Highly recommend.
Kirsten was absolutely amazing with my cat, Rosie, while I was out of town! She was communicative and reliable the whole way through and sent daily updates/pictures for me. You can tell she clearly cared about providing great care and it was clear from the pictures that my cat adored her! I came home to a happy and relaxed cat and everything was in perfect shape.
