About: With over 20 years of experience caring for animals, dogs have truly been a lifelong passion of mine. I also have professional experience as a certified dog trainer with Petco, giving me a strong background in canine behavior, body language, socialization, basic obedience and enrichment. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, energy levels and personalities, including puppies, seniors, shy or anxious dogs, high-energy dogs and dogs who simply need a little extra patience. For boarding, I intentionally accept a limited number of dogs so I can provide plenty of individual attention, potty breaks, outdoor time, enrichment, play, rest and affection throughout their stay. I do my best to maintain each dog's normal feeding and sleeping routine so their stay feels as familiar and comfortable as possible. I also offer walks and in-home visits throughout the week. These are customized around your pet's routine and can include walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, enrichment and companionship. Whether your dog is staying with me or I'm coming to them, my goal is quality time and individualized care rather than simply checking a box on a schedule. Safety and trust are extremely important to me. I take time to learn each pet's personality, routine, boundaries, medical needs and comfort level before deciding what their care should look like. Dogs boarding in my home have a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of space to play, explore or simply relax. Because I now keep my boarding numbers intentionally small, I can closely supervise interactions and give dogs space and downtime when they need it. I never assume that every dog wants to socialize or play the same way. Introductions, activities and interactions are based on the individual dog's temperament and comfort. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect both your home and your pet's established routine. I carefully follow instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, doors, gates, crates and household safety.

About: I've had dogs and cats and fish all my life. Currently have a 9 yo lab we've had since he was a puppy, two senior cats and uncountable fish including a 55 gallon tank and too many guppies and shrimp. Comfortable with administering meds, special care and playful pups. Very flexible week day schedule between 7a-4p. Long night time walks after 9 can be tricky with my family schedule but we can usually find a good way to work it out. I'll treat your babies like they're my own. Whether that's getting good pets and play time or enforcing your rules to sit/stay/okay before meals... I'm willing and able to work within what your pets are used to and expect.

I'm a proud fur-parent to Boogie, a rescue pup I adopted at four months old. He's two now, and watching him grow has only deepened how much I care about the life every dog deserves. If you need someone reliable who's willing to figure it out, I'm your person. When you invite me into your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. I'm tidy, mindful of your space, and will always leave things exactly as I found them. Your pet's routine matters too. I'll follow whatever instructions you leave, from feeding schedules to favorite toys to the walks they're used to. For walks, I keep a close eye on leash behavior and surroundings, and I'll never push a pet past their comfort zone. I know some dogs need a slow warm-up and others are ready to go the second the leash comes out, and I'm happy to meet them wherever they are that day. You can also expect regular updates while I'm with your pet. I'm happy to send a photo, a quick message, whatever gives you peace of mind while you're away. I know handing over a key and trusting someone with your animal is a big deal, and I don't take that lightly.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was little. We had them as puppies. My dog, Lilo (Cavachon) is 8 years old. He is at home and very friendly. I have my FT 3-11pm, Tuesdays-Saturdays. Anytime in the morning is fine. I walk my dog or we go to a park every single day. I have partly fenced back yard. I have Lilo, my 8 years old Cavachon to keep a company. I work full time and usually go into the office 2-3 times a week. I work 15 minutes away from my house and can be flexible with being home at certain times during the day. About: I used to own two Cavaliers, and have taken care of various dogs on behalf of friends/family, including dog sitting for my sister's high anxiety rescue dog, and now have taken care of numerous dogs in the year I’ve been on Rover. I find that a calm, patient demeanor can win over even the most stranger-wary dog. I am in the process of changing careers, so am taking classes, which meet mostly online. Aside from the few hours a week when I volunteer to work with special-needs children in therapeutic horseback riding, my schedule is very flexible, including nights/weekends. Mornings? Evenings? Last minute? No problem. I think of pets as family, and will treat your pet like my family. (Don't worry, that's a good thing!) As a horseback rider, I find the skills of working with our animal friends transfer easily. Regardless of species, they enjoy human attention/affection, engagement and are often much smarter than we give them credit for.
