About: In the last 15 years, I've cared for a variety of pets including chickens, bunnies, chinchillas, reptiles, dogs, and cats. I really enjoy snuggles and walks. I have experience giving medicine to both dogs and cats, doggie diapers and belly bands, and gentle leaders. Today, I have two senior pets of my own, a dog named Lola, and a cat named KitKat. Both are rescues that I trained myself and we've come a long way the past 7 years. I can't wait to meet you and your pets! I'm working remote contract positions right now and my schedule is really fluid. If you have reliable internet, I'll happily work from your home so your pets will have more company throughout the day. Trusting your sitter is important, that's why I do everything possible to make sure they are happy, healthy, and secure while you are away so you can relax and enjoy your time away from home.
“Glen was great with my dog, who needs to have medication twice a day and can't walk very far due to a leg injury. He was also an excellent communicator and very professional! I'm grateful for his services and would definitely recommend him to anyone.”

“We would highly recommend Ben to care for your pets. He has a clear love of animals and is very professional and easy to work with. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing our dogs were being well looked after.”

“Snoopy was crazy about Heidi. It was love at first sight. She took such good care of him like he was her own. I will definitely call on her again. I just wish I could afford it every day. Thank you, Heidi! We really appreciate you. 💜😃🥰”

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my genuine passion for animals combined with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and needs. I specialize in both puppy training and senior dog care, which means I’m not just here to watch over your dog I’m here to support their well-being at every stage of life. With puppies, I focus on positive reinforcement, helping them build confidence, learn basic commands, and feel safe in new environments. With senior dogs, I’m patient and attentive to their comfort, health routines, and any mobility challenges they may have. I also prioritize clear communication with pet parents, keeping you updated with photos, messages, and detailed notes so you always feel connected and reassured while you’re away. Above all, I treat every dog like family—with kindness, respect, and lots of love. I organize my days around making sure each dog in my care gets the attention, activity, and comfort they need—whether that means morning walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or simply quiet companionship. I set aside time every day for exercise, training, and one-on-one interaction to build trust and keep pets happy and mentally stimulated. On a weekly basis, I plan for grooming needs, restocking supplies, and adjusting routines to fit each pet’s personality and preferences. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where each animal feels comfortable and cared for. In My Home: I maintain a calm and pet-friendly space with plenty of room to play, rest, and explore. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding schedules, walks, medication if needed, and preferred activities. I limit the number of pets I take at once to ensure personalized attention and a peaceful atmosphere. In My Client’s Home: I respect your home as if it were my own and follow your pet’s established routine to keep them as relaxed and happy as possible. I make sure they’re well-fed, exercised, and emotionally cared for. I also keep the space clean, send regular updates, and can handle light home tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants if needed. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, I treat them like family—with patience, love, and reliability.
About: I am a huge animal lover, and i've always grown up with pets. I currently have 2 cats, and 1 dog, but I have had a bearded dragon, a hamster, a bird, and lots of fish, so I do have experience with those pets too. I mainly have a lot of experience with cats and dogs, considering I have pets of my own I absolutely love all animals, and treating them more as family than a pet will forever be my motto. I work part time. So my schedule is very open to giving my best care to your pets. I have availability anytime Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Thursday-Sunday, my availability is open to anytime before 3pm. If necessary, late night times after 9pm Thursday-Sunday, I can also provide my care. I am very flexible and open to communicating with you to fit your schedule, I can always make something work! In my home, we have a fenced in backyard so my dog can run around as much as he wants. I am active with him and we run and walk a lot during the summer. My cats have towers of scratching posts, sprinkled with catnip, and hanging toys. If you and your cat/dog are comfortable, I would love to walk them any time of the day to provide good support to their physical/mental health. Of course treats and water will be provided to ensure a healthy, happy pet!
“Iris was fantastic! She was able to help out last minute, even though we had never met before, and she immediately put me at ease. She showed up right on time, took great care of Tussey, and sent plenty of pictures during the walk. It was such a relief knowing Tussey was in good hands. Highly recommend and will definitely book with her again!”

“Jess is fantastic. Having two dogs can be chaotic, but Jess is great at making sure they behave. She's very responsive and keeps me up to date with how everyrhing goes. I would highly recommend her!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
