About: I’ve had different breeds of both cats and dogs throughout my entire childhood so I understand the responsibilities needed to properly take care of a variety of pets. My parents have also been on Rover for a couple of years and I alway love helping them out! This also means I understand the apps processes and how to navigate it. I’m a college student at Macalester college, so right now I’m on summer break. I am flexible with owners schedules and willing to driving all around the metro for visits or at home stays! I can do whatever the owner feels is necessary for their pet. Whether it’s putting pets into crates, or active play, or if meals need to be more hands on, I feel comfortable caring for them in pretty much any situation. I don’t have much experience caring for dogs with special needs, so some animals who need that type of assistance might be out of the realm of care I can provide.

I work at a dog daycare full time over the summer, so I'm accustomed to both puppies and seniors of all sizes. Over the summers I work full time at Dog Days in St. Paul, and I’m a student at St. Olaf over the school year. My work schedule isn’t the most predictable, but I’m generally available mornings and evenings after 6:30. Dogs are basically furry children. They can’t communicate directly, so they resort to barking, growling, or even biting. I’m experienced in figuring out why a dog is acting out and calming them down before things get out of hand. Highly recommend Jennifer!! My XL dog Panda warmed up to her immediately, and she has been totally comfortable and confident walking him even though he can be dog reactive. She’s also been wonderful with my small dog Alfie, who is very fearful of people and was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. He’s been having a hard time adjusting to the medication, and Jennifer has been incredibly patient with him while truly going above and beyond to earn his trust. She was also very flexible and understanding when Alfie wouldn’t walk because of the medication side effects, happily pivoting to playing with him in the backyard instead. It’s such a relief knowing my dogs are in such caring, capable, and attentive hands.
