About: Hi neighbors! My name is Jordan and I have been living in Highland Park for over 2 years now. I have lived with at least 1 dog for all but 4 years of my life and I can confidently say I never want to live without a dog again! For a moment, I worked at an animal hospital, and though I couldn’t handle all of the sadness and loss that went along with the job, it did teach me a lot, including dog and cat CPR. Thankfully, I’ve never had to use those skills, but I take comfort in having that knowledge. I also drive, so if there is any emergency, I would have the ability to take your fur baby to an emergency vet. I have a special place in my heart for senior animals, as I have a 15 year old Chihuahua with dementia, Ziva. I’m also familiar with giving medications, including giving injections. Not only do I love dogs, but I love cats and other critters as well, so I am open to helping with all sorts of furry friends! Currently, my weekdays are fairly open. On Mondays, I’m free after 3:30pm. On Wednesdays, I’m free before 11am and after 3:30pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays are pretty open. This will vary from time to time. I am not available Saturdays and Sundays. Please let me know all special instructions ahead of time, so I can make accommodations if necessary, and please do your best to check your phone periodically, in case of emergencies. I feel the most comfortable with the leash always on when your pup is outside, unless, completely fenced in on your own property. I would hate for them to get away and/or something to happen to them while in my care. Please let me know if I can stay a minute to give your fur babies some extra love and attention! I would be more than happy to do that, but no pressure! :)
“Jackie is absolutely the best! She took Siggy on nice long walks, kept us informed of little things. She's been our caretaker now twice and we have had zero problems. We hope she's available every time we need her in the future.”

“Xinia has been a blessing in my life! Bingo is so lucky to have an amazing walker that goes out of her way to ensure my bingo is well taken care of and most importantly she makes sure my bingo is loved! Xinia has been very patient with my bingo as it takes her time to trust new people, but Xinia has done and outstanding job being patient & caring towards her. I would recommend her to anybody that’s looking for a a sitter, or a walker! 12/10 from me!”

“Sy has been a lifesaver helping me with Lilly during the week!! She was super quick to respond to my initial request, which I was so grateful for because I needed services suddenly. And to top it all off, Lilly loves her so I feel like she’s in great hands whenever I’m gone! She goes above and beyond, even helping me with her medication when I asked. And she seems to really care about Lilly’s wellbeing, like she’s her own. Definitely recommend!!”

About: Hi, my name is Bryanna and I have had pets all my life. I grew up in a small rural town where my family had a farm so I learned general animal care from a young age! I have experience with dogs from as small as a Lhasa Apso to the giant Mastiff. I am an active person myself so walks and play time are also my favorite things (along with naps)! I currently work nights Tuesday to Staurday. I am able to hang out with your pups anytime before 5pm on workdays. I am also occasionally available after 5pm for a quick walk or drop in. I have off Sundays and Mondays and am very flexible those days. I am always very attentive to details given by pet parents to keep your furry friend safe. I will follow any routines or instructions and am very patient with your pups I will be sure to provide your pet with a safe and comfortable environment and treat them as if they were my own. Thanks for checking out my bio, I look forward to meeting your babies...and you of course!
About: I have a 90 pound rescue Rottweiler who is the light of my life and I would treat your fur baby the same way! I love dogs big and small, young and old! My rottie may be big and energetic but I also used to volunteer at a senior dog shelter in San Diego and know how to enjoy the world at a slower pace too. Happy to do morning, lunch or night time walks or jogs! I am a 6’ former college athlete and current college coach, so I can hold my own with larger dogs! I never use retractable leashes, only rope leashes so I can keep dogs safe from traffic, other dogs, and anything unsavory they may find while on our walks. I also use biodegradable poop bags! I work flexible hours this spring and summer, and I would love the opportunity to incorporate spending some time with your pup into my daily and weekly schedule! I will take and apply all direction and information regarding your pup’s needs and any details about your home to ensure the best walk or drop in possible! I bring water and a water bowl on walks and ensure the safety and security of dogs and homes before I leave a drop in.
“Remy is great with my dog! She is communicative and thorough. I know my dog is in great care with her. She is also a great photographer and sends the best pictures! I highly recommended Remy!”

“Carrie was amazing! Great communication, on time and great pictures of our dog for her walks! Millie seemed like she had a blast with Carrie and had lots of play dates with her dog! I felt very comfortable leaving Millie in her hands. Thanks again!”

“Katherine was so great taking our fur baby, Griffin, for mid-day walks! I appreciate her great communication, timeliness, cute photos, and genuine care for our pup!”

“Kristine does a great job with my dog. He can be stubborn or get scared on walks and want to go home. If that is the case she will stay and play with him in the backyard. But she also gets creative and communicates with me on strategies to get him to walk and it has worked. Overall great communication and very timely. Would recommend her to walk or care for your dog.”

About: I’ve been around animals majority of my life. Mostly cats and dogs, how ever I have small animal experience aswell. I have always loved animals and become quick friends with them! I currently have a cat named Jerry and live with my mom and her two dogs. Throughout my life me and my family have had 9 cats and 5 dogs! I am an RN, I work clinic side pediatrics! I work m-f 8-5! Not gone super long and would able to give all my attention when back from work! I will respect your property and your schedule for how you have your pets in the home. I can and will let your pet out as often as they need and want. I can bring them for walks and play times. I know letting someone else in the home and taking care of your fur babies can be hard, but I can ensure trust and safety in your home and with your pets!
Mendota Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jacqueline did a super job walking our senior pup, caring for his needs, and checking in on the two cats while we were gone. She always follows instructions, and communicates if there is a problem or question about their care. We are always confident that our pets will be safe and cared for when we book Jacqueline.

Sarah did an excellent job walking Hazel while our family was out of town. She was on time, friendly and great with an energetic lab. She paid special attention when we let her know that Hazel gets anxious while around other dogs and on a leash, and came up with some tricks to ease her anxiety. We’d absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone needing a dog walker!
