About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.

About: Retired educator and small farm owner. Dog and cat owner the past 30+ years. Current family includes a dog and 3 cats. In the past we have had as many as 5 dogs. I have just recently moved to the Twin Cities from a small farm in Illinois. I am retired and have free time nearly every day. I have been taking my pup Hugo for long walks every day as Hugo and I explore all the wonderful outdoor spaces. Just purchased a home in West Saint Paul with a fenced yard for my pup Hugo. In addition, I go for a one hour plus walk most days with Hugo. I love to be active and love dogs and cats. The cats are still adapting to being inside as they transition from farm living to urban life.

About: I have experience caring for newborn puppies, as well as dogs and cats with special needs or medications. I’m comfortable following specific care instructions and making sure pets get the attention and care they need. I also have experience house sitting, so I’m comfortable staying in a client’s home and making sure both their pets and their home are well cared for while they’re away. I’m very attentive and flexible, and I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m new to the area and currently looking for a full-time position, so my schedule is very flexible right now. I have plenty of availability throughout the week and can easily work pet care into my daily routine. I’m flexible with timing and locations and am happy to accommodate different schedules and the individual needs of each pet. I love having the opportunity to spend my extra time caring for animals, giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I always want pets to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I’ll follow their normal routine and any instructions their owner gives me, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or just giving them some extra attention and love. I know every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and what makes them comfortable. My goal is to make sure they feel happy and cared for while their owner is away and to give the owner peace of mind knowing their pet is in good hands.

About: I’m a life long pet lover. Cats have always had my heart, but I grew up with big dogs, so am more than willing to meet your gentle giant! Ideally I can do home visits three times a day, in the morning, early evening and late evenings! However, my schedule is flexible and am open to discussing other times! I do not have the ability to take your pet into my home, but I will come to yours! I will treat your pet with care, I understand it can be scary for them to meet new people. I will also treat your space with the upmost respect and can tidy up pet related messes if need be. (Litter boxes, etc)
