Robert P.

“Robert did a really amazing job, with my high energy Grandma pittie, Maya. Maya likes to occasionally bark at other dogs, passing garbage trucks and other large trucks and Robert handled it all in stride and kept Maya under control. They did nice long, slow walks and Maya was able to get all her sniffs in. Maya was SUPER excited each day when Robert arrived for their walk together! ?. Thanks!”

Holly C.

“Holly walks my beagle mix on days when I'm in the office. He is always tired afterwards and I know he's in great hands with her! Holly is reliable and communicates well.”

Zach S.

“Zach is doing so well with our "special" hound. He's been reliable and I have no worries about his skill with a complicated dog. Monroe is so happy to see Zach and immediately liked Zach, he must have a gift!”

Melia S.

“Melia was so wonderful with my nervous/shy girl and took her on a walk for me while I worked a long 12 hour shift! 10/10 Would recommend her. She even gave my cat some lovins too!”

Gabriel H.

“Gabe did a great job with our dog, who is young and high energy. He was very communicative, available for a meet and greet beforehand, asked great questions, and was very attentive. He was also patient with our dog who can get very excited at times. We look forward to having Gabe walk her again!”

About: I have had pets my entire life - cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and more! I currently have 2 cats of my own - Herbie and Tiger - who are entering their senior years. I grew up with the tiniest of dogs (chihuahuas) and the biggest (St. Bernard's) and everything in between. Don't let my size fool you, I have a soft spot for large dogs and love the "aggressive" (not true!) breeds - I promise I can handle them! 😉 I have a lot of different medication experience, including injectables (although I'd prefer to do a meet and greet with a walkthrough for any medications, if possible). I also have a lot of experience with tempermental animals, and I am VERY strict with following whatever directions you give! I also have experience with a variety of special needs pets. I currently work 7:30am-3:30pm M-F, but can provide midday checks in the Apple Valley/Burnsville area, on request only. AM DROP IN AVAILABILITY M-F: 5AM-7AM PM DROP IN AVAILABILITY M-F: 4PM-9PM SAT/SUN DROP IN AVAILABILITY: OPEN IN-HOME: I can provide supervision for all hours (including overnight) EXCLUDING 7:30AM-3:30PM M-F. I have multiple years of experience in handling animals of all sizes, temperaments, breeds, and friendliness levels! In my professional life, I direct multiple group homes for adults with disabilities and can pass even stricter background checks than Rover's - the only clue you'll have that I was in your home is a happy and healthy pet with lots of pictures along the way! 😀

Luke L.

“Luke was great, i think my dog was sad when i came back.”

Elizabeth L.

“Humphrey had a one night stay in our home with Elizabeth, and all was well! Absolutely no signs of stress when we returned, just a happy pooch. ”

Tom A.

“Tom has been an amazing addition to my mom’s little rescue, Murphy. My mom is able to provide all the snuggles and cuddles Murphy requires, but not the exercise. I live out of state and my mom is not good with technology. I was able to find Tom easily on Rover and see that he had excellent reviews and could be someone my mom could count on to help exercise little Murphy. I think Mr. Murphy likes his new buddy, Tom.”

About: I have three cats, or they have me. One senior boy needs meds twice daily & another is special needs due to a condition called cerabellar hypoplasia (CH). CH cats are often called wobbly cats, ours needs help drinking water, using his litter box and climbing up on the couch--he requires attention all day and I was lucky to work from home about 75% of the time. I'm currently retired and now have a part-time job and need to work out a schedule. So I will have to work with pet owners I am also currently caring for a senior 13-pound terrier, full time, for the last month in my home, much to the dismay of our cats. All 3 cats have learned to politely accept him--I bet they will become "snuggle-bunnies" as cooler temps return. We may fully adopt our terrier-friend if the family decides that is best. With previous cats I've administered subcutaneous fluids & helped another, for 3 years, to pass his stool. I am very comfortable with cats and dogs who may need additional time and space accepting a new human.

Lisa G.

“Lisa is awesome! Communicates so well and we felt so confident while we were gone that our dogs were well-cared for the whole time. She navigated our other instructions so well too. Our one dog is a recently adopted rescue, yet loved her and she understood him and was cool with him, we are so relieved, impressed and thankful!”

Hayley P.
About: Hello, my name is Hayley and I would love to care for your beloved pets! I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was a kid. My family used to foster puppies and I was the one who usually took care of them! I have professionally dogsat for family, friends, and neighbors for about 7 years. I am a trustworthy and reliable person, and am looking forward to taking care and loving on your pets! I work from home the majority of the week and can fit in dog sitting and walks throughout the day! I am pretty flexible, however, most summer weekends I am not available. I would prefer to watch pets in their homes, as I live in an apartment. I can house sit and pet sit for you, and I have done this for the past 7 years for family and friends. If a dog would do okay in an apartment, I would consider it.

Olivia R.
“Olivia and Jose having been taking care of Cooper (our dog) for years. They love her as if she was their own pet and are very patient with her as she does struggle with anxiety. Cooper has stayed with Olivia and Jose for short day trips and multiple days overnight. They do a great job walking, feeding, playing with Cooper and giving her medications. Would highly recommend them any time!”

Sammi & Megan T.

Kelly O.
About: I’ve taken care of friends and families pets while they have been away for over 20 years, giving medication‘s, taking dogs for walks spending time with kitty cats and making sure that they feel as comfortable as they can, while their owners are away! I run my own business as a hairstylist, so I am in charge of my schedule at all times! Which makes it convenient for my clients to be able to rely on me to provide extra care for their pets! I have two 12 your old cats myself, and spend time with family and friends dogs whenever I get the chance! There’s a certain sense of peace I feel with animals!
