About: I grew up with cats, dogs, a bearded dragon, and a whole lot of fish. I have a soft spot for spicy cats as I have one of my own. Currently, live in a space where I can't have a dog but if I could it would be a loveable rescue who loves to play and to go on walks. I've taken care of many friends and family pets over the years and excited to make some new furry (and scaly) friends! Through the summer my schedule is very flexible. I work at an elementary school as a reading tutor so during the school year I am available late afternoons/evenings and weekends. I am organized, outgoing, and friendly and as long as you have detailed instructions I feel confident taking care of your pets in your home.

About: I got my first dog (Winston) when he was a puppy and have been through it all with him, including puppy training! Although he’s older now, Winston is still full of energy and super playful, so I do well with active and energetic dogs. When he does have his calmer moments, I’m always there for a short walk with lots of stops to lay in the grass! Additionally, I’ve worked with senior dogs in the past. I have experience administering daily oral medication and going for walks with dogs that have mobility issues, such as arthritis and weak knees. I love to go on daily walks, often in the late afternoon or early mornings, and always enjoy the company of a furry friend! On the weekends I am available throughout the whole day for walks and playtime. I have years of experience walking my own dog in a city environment and am always focused on my surroundings, from cars to food on the sidewalk, to ensure his safety and enjoyment. Additionally, I have a lot of experience working with dogs that have anxiety. Winston is very sensitive to certain noises, such as the shuffling of playing cards, so I always make sure to avoid using cards around him. When entering a client’s home, I always make sure to treat the space exactly how I would want my space to be treated; with care and respect.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and have been around many different animals over the years. I started out pet sitting for friends of family members, and families in my local community in my spare time. I have also taken care of a few senior pets over the years by making sure they get their right medications and foods throughout my stay. I also help take care of farm animals, outdoor bird feeders, along with indoor and outdoor plant watering and care. I currently have two cats, Scooter and Goose and they are my world. I am currently working about 20-25 hours a week. My current job is very flexible with hours and time that would allow me to stop in a care for your pets. I am available to do a few days, with the possibility of extending that period of time. I would be able to stop in and care for your pets before I head to work for the day (roughly 4 to 8 hours regularly, but can be flexible) and again after I am done with work for the day before engaging in any activities or turning in for the evening. I am open to stopping in daily and caring for you pets in your home as I dont have much space while I am currently living in the city with roommates and multiple pets in our household. If your pet has a favorite park, or yard to play in, I would be happy to engage in their favorite activities hwith them in those places.

About: I have cared for every breed of dog from small terrier to beagle to st Bernard's and pit bulls since the age of 8. I am a lifelong pet person who has cared for both family members pets, my own pets, as well as the pets of friends, neighbors and collies. Worked extensively with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, snakes and fish. I have an incredibly flexible schedule as I work remote and am able to fit in most times of convenience if scheduled ahead of time. I have dependable transportation and can work from anywhere in the twin cities (or country for that matter) if the job called for it. I am a retired military veteran having honorably served 20 years in the MNARNG. I have served both overseas and domestic tours. I am a proud community activist, veteran advocate, and behavioral and cognitive skills trainer. I have degrees in law enforcement and criminal justice, as well as certificates in private security. As I mentioned I have flexibility in my schedule and just need to be notified in advance of when my services are needed. Dog walking I can drop in and provide such service anywhere in the cities, and times are flexible if notified in advance My home has two levels, plenty of space, a balcony and fenced in front yard. I have a backyard as well. The home is clean and can ensure the pets continued safety and comfort. I am willing and able to commute to pet sit in the event of a client working or being out of town. There is a cat in my home who is good with other animals and very friendly himself.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! I used to work at a dog day care (small and large breeds). I also volunteered at OTAT in Chicago for a year before recently moving to St Paul. Volunteering for OTAT required extensive training. Looking to add furry friends back into my life 💛 I currently work full-time but remotely and am very flexible. I’m available to drive and provide care in the mornings before the work day begins, during lunch hours, and after 4 pm. I live in an apt building and have plenty of grass surrounding. I’m near a lovely riverwalk which would allow for amazing walks as needed.

About: I've had pets since I was a child. My best friend and I would catch lizards and insects growing up. I've volunteered at my local shelter (in Florida), and I often visit shelters to give animals attention. I always meet each pet where they’re at, whether they need lots of activity or a little extra emotional support. When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—I focus on giving each animal the kind of attention and interaction that fits their personality. I’m happy to provide all the pets, cuddles, and playtime they want, but I always let them set the pace. I love playing fetch, being chased (or doing the chasing!), and I’m comfortable engaging in a bit of rough play with larger breeds when appropriate to help them burn off energy. I always respect an animal’s space and let them approach me first. With cats, for example, I’ll take things slowly and use gentle cues like slow blinking to help build trust. About: I have grown up around pets all of my life, having had multiple dogs and cats throughout. As a teenager, I would be trusted by neighbors to sit multiple pets at a time while they went on vacation. More than that, I am familiar with senior pet care and administering oral medicine. I am currently working part-time so I am available and ready to handle pet care most days of the week, including weekends. More, I am able to do early morning and late night care. I can create a safe environment for your pet by finding their comfort and acknowledging what they need within the home. Likewise, on walks, I am able to handle large dogs and other animal contact, making sure your pet stays safe in my care.

About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid. In middle school, I began taking care of family & friends’ dogs. I love spending quality time with dogs, getting to know their unique personalities, and honoring their needs. I am also an experienced dog groomer who values building a bond of trust with pets and their families. I am a full-time student from September-May. I work part-time during the summer, so I generally have more time to spend with your pet throughout the week. I play organ and sing at various churches every weekend, which occupies my Saturday evenings & Sunday mornings. I also practice music every weekday morning. About: I’ve had pets for most of my life and have loved taking care of friends dogs over the years. I have a small (15lb) dog (4yo). Enjoy meeting new dogs for walks - and offer co walking if your dog enjoys that For my daycare dogs. I currently work from home. My dog loves having a friend around and we go on walks and play in the house. A typical day is a walk, followed by a nap on the couch some Zumiez in the fully fenced backyard another walk lunchtime nap another walk. For dog walking, I can take you dog solo or on a co walk with my little dog - based on your preference. Your Dog will play in the house/ backyard and every few hours go on a walk in the neighborhood. Your Dog will be welcome to explore my home as if it’s their own and we can adjust schedules to meet their needs.
