About: I have cared for every breed of dog from small terrier to beagle to st Bernard's and pit bulls since the age of 8. I am a lifelong pet person who has cared for both family members pets, my own pets, as well as the pets of friends, neighbors and collies. Worked extensively with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, snakes and fish. I have an incredibly flexible schedule as I work remote and am able to fit in most times of convenience if scheduled ahead of time. I have dependable transportation and can work from anywhere in the twin cities (or country for that matter) if the job called for it. I am a retired military veteran having honorably served 20 years in the MNARNG. I have served both overseas and domestic tours. I am a proud community activist, veteran advocate, and behavioral and cognitive skills trainer. I have degrees in law enforcement and criminal justice, as well as certificates in private security. As I mentioned I have flexibility in my schedule and just need to be notified in advance of when my services are needed. Dog walking I can drop in and provide such service anywhere in the cities, and times are flexible if notified in advance My home has two levels, plenty of space, a balcony and fenced in front yard. I have a backyard as well. The home is clean and can ensure the pets continued safety and comfort. I am willing and able to commute to pet sit in the event of a client working or being out of town. There is a cat in my home who is good with other animals and very friendly himself.

About: I've owned a dog and/or a cat since I left college and once had 3 dogs, 3 cats and 2 children under age 6 in the same house! I worked for a pet sitting business in Virginia for two years and love to observe animals and get to know to know them on their terms. Experience matters with pets and I have that, combined with great communication and common sense. I'm the person you want watching your furry friends when you can't be there. I'm also a photography lover and I'm happy to work to get some good shots of your animals while taking care of them. I'm a semi-retired journalist who often works remotely, so I have plenty of time to pet sit. With my kids in college, my nest is empty except for my Pueto Rican chihuahua mix, Nina. We walk two or three times a day when the weather and my schedule permits. I'll care for your pets as if they were mine. I've owned multiple cats and dogs, from 8 pounds up to 90. If you have the patience and experience, almost every animal will give you clues on how they want to be treated.

About: I grew up with three labradors, and love caring for dogs of all sizes and ages! I have experience with small and medium sized dogs, and I've have also walked Great Danes (which are about as tall as me!). I love dogs of all ages, and especially have a soft spot in my heart for older and aging dogs who might need a slower pace. If you work long hours and need someone to walk your dog at lunch or in the afternoon, this works perfectly for me. I am available from mid morning to early evening. Your dog's safety is extremely important to me. I keep dogs leased, avoid busy and crowded streets whenever possible, stay alert for traffic and other animals, and listen to pet parent requests for your dog's safety.

About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. Many of my neighbors and friends trust me to take care of their dogs while at work or on vacation. I've had experience with dogs of all sizes, temperments, and ages. I enjoy learning each animal's personality and how best take care of them. I strive to make every day exciting and enriching for each animal! I currently work a part-time job, I am available all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays and most weekends as well as any day after 5 pm. The care and safety of your pet is of utmost importance to me. Communication is very big for me, I send pictures and updates of your pet throughout the care period. I want to stick to the routine your pet is comfortable with so they feel safe and secure while in my care!

About: I’ve cared for dogs since my teenage years, from puppies to seniors. Lately, I’ve fostered and adopted senior rescues. I consider dogs some of the most special creatures on Earth. I work full-time from home and love having dog-walking breaks throughout the day. I can sit in your home (as long as there’s wi-fi so I can log into work) or mine. My 15-year old Chihuahua mix passed away recently, so I currently do not have an animal companion in my home, though that doesn’t last very long with me! I do not have a fenced-in yard; however, there is a walking path across the front street of my home and a city park across the street in the back.

About: Hello! My name is Trish and I am starting my journey as a sitter with rover! I am a Wildland firefighter, therefor am gone a significant amount of time in summer, leading to me not being able to have animals of my own. However my dog loving nature has not diminished! Not having dogs of my own makes me able to walk/run/dog sit for others and am available for last minute requests as well. I have 2 years of dog sitting experience in my past, along with growing up around three dogs, two cats and a bearded dragon. I love to exercise and taking dogs for long walks (or runs!) I would love to take your dog(s) on an adventure :) I’m currently back from the fire season and working part-time, so I have plenty of free time to play with pups! I am an avid runner and walker with myself and my partner and I’d love to take your pups on long walks or pet sit for you! Not having animals of my own currently makes me very free for last minute change of plans, dog sitting needs as well as holidays and weekends. I am available to come on short notice! I am very clean and professional at all times when either walking your dog or picking them up from your home, your pets safety is my top priority!

I'm working from home on Mondays and in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday. I can come home over lunch if boarding during the week. I have a fenced in yard and a great neighborhood for taking walks. I can provide a separate room for pets, as well as a crate, if needed.
