About: 🌿 Loving, Experienced, Home-Based Dog Care Hi! I’m Shontay, and I’ve been a dog mom for over 10 years. My own dogs are spoiled, well-trained, and great with visitors. I work from home full-time, so your dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and affection all day long. 🏡 Safe, Comfortable Home Environment I have a fully fenced backyard and a doggy door that makes potty breaks and outdoor play easy. I’m patient and experienced with helping dogs learn how to use the dog door, especially shy or younger pups. My dogs are potty trained and friendly with other dogs, so everyone settles in quickly. 🐾 Special Love for Nervous & Skittish Dogs One of my regular clients has a very skittish puppy who doesn’t like many people, but he bonded with me immediately—that’s how I earned the job. I move slow, speak gently, and let dogs set the pace. I want every pet to feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my home. 💛 What Your Dog Can Expect Here • A calm, loving environment • Lots of outdoor time in a fenced yard • Patience, guidance, and structure • Respect for their personality and comfort level • Updates so you always know how they’re doing I’d be honored to care for your dog like one of my own while you're away. “Robert is awesome and came over to walk my Winston on very short notice. My dog loves him and came back very happy! I highly recommend Robert for his animal expertise and professionalism!”

About: I've taken care of all sorts of animals from rabbits, cats, dogs, lizards and rats. I love almost every kind of animal and would love to experience them in full. I have taken care of senior animals in their last leg of life, almost like a pet hospice. Everyone deserves comfort and love. I have 2 cats myself, with my family. We all take turns and take time to care for the animals. They are like family to us, so its just kind of second nature to add them into our schedules. I have mentioned my family in certain bio points, but it will be just me showing up for you and your pets. In the client's home I would prefer a list of how you like your animal cared for as everyone has different schedules, but I would try to keep myself and your pets to your schedule. I know that structure can really help some people, and I know some loose reigns help others. So just give me a heads up for what you need and I will fit my style accordingly. I would like to point out that it will be just me taking care of your pets, I have mentioned my family in certain bio points, but it will be just me showing up for you.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Along with pet sitting/house sitting for neighbors, I've spent years around dogs of different sizes and temperaments. I love going on walks and playing with them, or just sitting in their presence; making sure dogs feel comfortable and happy. As a recent graduate with a flexible summer schedule before starting work, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I'm available most weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays for a few days at a time. If caring for your pet in your home, I will treat your space with respect and keep it tidy and clean while making sure your pet feels comfortable and care for. I'm attentive to routines, instructions, and your pet's individual needs, and I'll do my best to maintain a safe and trustworthy environment.
About: I have lived with and taken care of a variety of animals my whole life. I have had dogs, cats, and even rats. I am very comfortable around them. I am looking to spend more time with animals. I am available all five days of the week. I am flexible as to what time of day. To let your dog out, I will put it on a leash and take it outside. If you occasionally crate your dog when inside, I will be able to accomodate that as well.
About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life. Having companions of various dog breeds and cats. As well as lizards and Guinea pigs. I also have fostered many different cats and dogs through the Humane Society for North Texas for the past 5 years and have done pet sitting for friends and family. I work full time so but will always do my best to take time to care for and spend time with the fur babies throughout the day and adjust my schedules best I can. Whether stopping in before or after work. Or even-spending the whole days or weekends. I can definitely be flexible to meet the pets and families needs. My home has a fenced in yard and I would definitely be aware of any fencing at a clients home as well. Or any special cage/pet area they have. I love going for walks and getting outside and playing. My personal animals definitely have a routine, feeding and walk schedule to I would be attentive to whatever routine a client has for their pet.
North End dog parents share their Rover experiences
Reliable and generous, ensured my dog was walked with plenty of play time every day even in rainy weather. My energetic mini labradoodle was excited to see Jae H when he arrived for walks. Responsive communication . Clear commitment. Daily photos and reports. Jae H noticed and reported on a bug bite. Flexible when I had to change dates. I will definitely rebook, given the opportunity.

We hired Eleni to walk our dog, Bowser, while we were out of town and the friend watching him at night worked all day. When we discovered an 8 week old puppy under a car days before our trip, we scrambled on what to do. Eleni was more than happy to add her to the booking and spend extra time with her after the daily walks. The photos and updates were great, and we will definitely hire Eleni again in the future!

Xinia has been great with my dog! She shows up on time is very kind to my Frenchie Harriet and even gets her stubborn doggie butt to go on a walk with her. Harriet is usually difficult to walk for strangers as she just stops and acts stubborn. The last time Xinia walked her Harriet was excited to see her for a walk! This is has been wonderful for me since I can't walk her for a while as I just had foot surgery.

Claire was awesome! She took great care of my pupper on their daily walks, and was clear and communicative. Followed all my directions and was even nice enough to give me pup some extra time when he was anxious about construction workers at my building. Will definitely be hiring her again :)

Claudia did a great job walking my lab, Cleo, while I was out of town! She is very prompt with any communication. She always sent photos from the walks, and the map of the walks; and let me know how Cleo was doing. I felt very assured that Cleo was in excellent hands. Claudia is experienced and was sensitive to Cleo’s needs!
