“Shayla has been an amazing dog walker for our little Mabel! She’s very attentive, fast at communicating, always takes lots of pictures and always fills out the Rover card! If I could give her ten stars, I would! 😊”

About: I've owned a dog and/or a cat since I left college and once had 3 dogs, 3 cats and 2 children under age 6 in the same house! I worked for a pet sitting business in Virginia for two years and love to observe animals and get to know to know them on their terms. Experience matters with pets and I have that, combined with great communication and common sense. I'm the person you want watching your furry friends when you can't be there. I'm also a photography lover and I'm happy to work to get some good shots of your animals while taking care of them. I'm a semi-retired journalist who often works remotely, so I have plenty of time to pet sit. With my kids in college, my nest is empty except for my Pueto Rican chihuahua mix, Nina. We walk two or three times a day when the weather and my schedule permits. I'll care for your pets as if they were mine. I've owned multiple cats and dogs, from 8 pounds up to 90. If you have the patience and experience, almost every animal will give you clues on how they want to be treated.
“Kayleah did a great job with our very large and energetic Shepherd mix! Her communication was excellent, and Dawson was always excited to see her. Next time we need a dog walker, we’ll definitely reach out!”

About: 🌿 Loving, Experienced, Home-Based Dog Care Hi! I’m Shontay, and I’ve been a dog mom for over 10 years. My own dogs are spoiled, well-trained, and great with visitors. I’m patient and experienced with helping dogs learn how to use the dog door, especially shy or younger pups. About: Someone who grew up with at least two rescue dogs in the house at all time, a few cats and horses, I've taken care of animals of all sizes, breeds, personalities, ages, and needs throughout my lifetime. I've even seen kittens born! I raised and loved the one I chose to mine, finally saying goodbye when she reached the ripe age of 21. Whether it is puppies / kittens, mid-life, or elderly I have experienced all the life stages of our fur babies. I've also dealt with the not so fun parts of being a fur baby parent. From cleaning up hairballs or puke because the dog decided to eat grass, cleaning a dog who decided it was a good idea to go for a swim in the pond, or literally breaking up cat fights... I've been there. Because I teach, and right now school is out, I would be home during the majority of the day during the summer for pet sitting. Come the school year, I would be away between school hours. Because right now I'm working part-time I have plenty of extra time to fit walking your fur baby into my schedule! I have a large porch which leads down to a fenced-in yard. My fur baby personally loves sunning himself on the porch or going down to the yard and just exploring. The apartment itself is a renovated music studio so it is wide, spacious, and beautifully designed. Your fur baby would have his own feeding area and you are welcome to bring any toys or other comfort items. I've had to board my cat before so I know how important the small things are.
“Michelle did an amazing job with Daisy. Very timely with communication in the booking process. Very impressed and will be the first place we look when we have walking needs!”

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid. In middle school, I began taking care of family & friends’ dogs. I love spending quality time with dogs, getting to know their unique personalities, and honoring their needs. I am also an experienced dog groomer who values building a bond of trust with pets and their families. I am a full-time student from September-May. I work part-time during the summer, so I generally have more time to spend with your pet throughout the week. I play organ and sing at various churches every weekend, which occupies my Saturday evenings & Sunday mornings. I also practice music every weekday morning. My home does not allow for pets, so I will be happy to stay in your home and take care of your dog in the environment they know best.

About: Growing up with 2 dogs, I know the amount of pure joy and giggles all doggies bring to families! I grew up with 2 little Dachshund (wiener) Dogs named Frankie and Lily! They were both so smart and oddly enough thought they could fly! They knew every night at exactly 9pm it was officially SNACK time! As they both aged, I spent much time carrying them up/down stairs, walking them and bringing them to appts such as Vet, Chiro and other therapies. There is no greater experience than coming home to your best friend wagging their tail. My main job is supporting the deaf/hard of hearing in the twin cities. My work experience allows me to get a sense of my surroundings quickly. I have experience house sitting, walking dogs and also taking dogs to vet/grooming appointments. Now I have 2 fur babies Highlander cats, Gracie and Fynn. ❤️ can’t believe I lived so long without my kitty cats!!
“Phoebe has a 6th sense about what dogs need I think. She was terrific with our bashful Abby, being able to adapt to Abby only wanting to take a short walk and instead spending the rest of the walk time giving Abby extra love and belly rubs. We will definitely will call on Phoebe again!”

About: I’ve had 15 years of dogs in my houses and many pets in the family who have needed sitting. I’m also normally responsible for the puppy age :) My dog is a 6 year old black lab. We live along the river in a townhouse, so I’m always out taking him for long walks or to the neighborhood dog park. I’m currently unemployed so have lots of free time and in the habit of pet care! Pet care available in our home. We have 3 separate floors so I can keep your dog apart from my dog if preferred. Lovely dog park a short walk from the house, access to grass areas right outside our front door, and miles of paths along the river that a very walk friendly.
“Tyler will continue to be my go to dog walker when I need help getting my 2 dogs their daily exercise. My pups are spoiled with daily outings , and dog park trips - we usually average 6-8 miles per day but often hit 10-12 miles once or twice every week…. with Tyler, I have peace of mind and confidence that my dogs will get a walk and the type of exercise they are accustomed to. They always return content , satisfied and most importantly exhausted! Thanks again Tyler!”

About: I grew up with cats, dogs, a bearded dragon, and a whole lot of fish. I have a soft spot for spicy cats as I have one of my own. Currently, live in a space where I can't have a dog but if I could it would be a loveable rescue who loves to play and to go on walks. I've taken care of many friends and family pets over the years and excited to make some new furry (and scaly) friends! Through the summer my schedule is very flexible. I work at an elementary school as a reading tutor so during the school year I am available late afternoons/evenings and weekends. I am organized, outgoing, and friendly and as long as you have detailed instructions I feel confident taking care of your pets in your home.

Reliable and generous, ensured my dog was walked with plenty of play time every day even in rainy weather. My energetic mini labradoodle was excited to see Jae H when he arrived for walks. Responsive communication . Clear commitment. Daily photos and reports. Jae H noticed and reported on a bug bite. Flexible when I had to change dates. I will definitely rebook, given the opportunity.

We hired Eleni to walk our dog, Bowser, while we were out of town and the friend watching him at night worked all day. When we discovered an 8 week old puppy under a car days before our trip, we scrambled on what to do. Eleni was more than happy to add her to the booking and spend extra time with her after the daily walks. The photos and updates were great, and we will definitely hire Eleni again in the future!

Xinia has been great with my dog! She shows up on time is very kind to my Frenchie Harriet and even gets her stubborn doggie butt to go on a walk with her. Harriet is usually difficult to walk for strangers as she just stops and acts stubborn. The last time Xinia walked her Harriet was excited to see her for a walk! This is has been wonderful for me since I can't walk her for a while as I just had foot surgery.

Claire was awesome! She took great care of my pupper on their daily walks, and was clear and communicative. Followed all my directions and was even nice enough to give me pup some extra time when he was anxious about construction workers at my building. Will definitely be hiring her again :)

Claudia did a great job walking my lab, Cleo, while I was out of town! She is very prompt with any communication. She always sent photos from the walks, and the map of the walks; and let me know how Cleo was doing. I felt very assured that Cleo was in excellent hands. Claudia is experienced and was sensitive to Cleo’s needs!
