About: I've had pets since I was a child. My best friend and I would catch lizards and insects growing up. I've volunteered at my local shelter (in Florida), and I often visit shelters to give animals attention. Friends and coworkers know me for my love for animals and entrust me with their care when they are away for a work day or an extended period of time. LGBTQIA+ friendly Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I live and work full-time in downtown St. Paul with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide care on workdays—whether that’s walks, check-ins, or some quality time. On weekends, I’m able to dedicate full days to pet care. I love going on neighborhood walks and outdoor excursions when the weather’s nice, and I’d be happy to have your fur baby join me. I always meet each pet where they’re at, whether they need lots of activity or a little extra emotional support. When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—I focus on giving each animal the kind of attention and interaction that fits their personality. I’m happy to provide all the pets, cuddles, and playtime they want, but I always let them set the pace. I love playing fetch, being chased (or doing the chasing!), and I’m comfortable engaging in a bit of rough play with larger breeds when appropriate to help them burn off energy. I always respect an animal’s space and let them approach me first. With cats, for example, I’ll take things slowly and use gentle cues like slow blinking to help build trust. Whether your pet loves being a lap companion or just wants a calm presence nearby, I’m attentive to their needs and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in any environment.

We could not be happier with the care our dog received. Our dog is anxious and takes many meds. Our dog requires a lot of patience and attention and Jessica was absolutely amazing with our dog! Frequent updates and pictures gave us real peace of mind and kept us at ease. Jessica made our dog feel safe and comfortable! When we got home, our dog looked taken care of and our house looked cleaned and piked up. We highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter! PS - It was dry and hot outside and we asked Jessica to water out plants. She agreed without hesitation.
Lauren was the first sitter I’ve utilized through Rover.com and I was very pleased. She stayed with my 6-year-old lab (Odin) for six days during which time she had to interface with construction crews, neighbors, and miscellaneous issues. Eleni is absolutely wonderful!!! She took such good care of my pup Pippin while I was away, and made sure I was updated throughout my trip with great pictures and videos. She was so easy to trust as a pet sitter and I knew that my home and more importantly my dog were in great hands with her. We were hesitant to find a sitter for our pup via Rover as we only have left our dog Douglas with family/friends in the past, but we are so glad we found Erica! Brooke is amazing! We have a reactive dog that needs a few introductions before feeling comfortable with new people. Brooke took extra time with us and our pup to ensure everyone was comfortable for an overnight stay on our wedding day. She has such compassion for animals and I can’t recommend her enough!
We truly lucked out with Julie when we asked her to start dog sitting for us about 4 years ago now. She is reliable, knowledgeable about pets and their needs, and truly cares for the animals and people she works with. Our dog Kona absolutely adores Julie and gets so excited whenever she comes to visit. We have tried boarding in facilities a couple times, but she just gets so anxious to be away from her space, so we are very thankful that Julie is able to come to us and give Kona the 1:1 attention and care she needs.
Liz was wonderful! She was relaxed, kind, comforting, and understanding with me as I was trying to take care of last minute details before I left to go out of town. She was very good with my nearly 17 year old dog, Sonny. Liz treated him gently and sweetly and put me at ease. While I was gone, she touched base with me twice daily and asked questions when needed. I felt relaxed that Sonny was in good hands. I will certainly use her again. Grateful!
