“Emily was prompt, caring and wonderful with our babies. They usually take a minute to warm up to people but they took to her right away. She kept us apprised and asked questions when she needed. She went above and beyond for us. Will definitely rebook with her.”

“Penny was my favorite sitter so far. She was great at communicating before, during, and after the trip. She left my house almost better than it was before I left. But most importantly, she bonded with my cats. I felt completely at ease while away because I could tell by her messages and photos that she genuinely liked my cats. Bonus... She also has a sense of humor. I will definitely be booking with Penny again.”

“My dog is old and he’s pretty high maintenance. He needs medicine three times a day, and his appetite isn’t much these days. Haley was able to administer his medication and get him to eat, and I certainly appreciated all her efforts. I provided the instructions and she followed them very well. I came back to a very relaxed dog.”

“Rachel did a great job caring for our dog and our in-laws’ dog who was visiting while we were away. She is clearly very knowledgeable about dog care and behavior, asked great questions to get to know the dogs and be prepared, was very professional and communicated well. We will definitely hire her again!”

“Tacy was great! It is clear she is comfortable and knowledgeable when it comes to taking care of dogs! I will be reaching out to her in the future if we need dog sitting!”

“Chioma did a great job watching my very shy and strange dog! She handled all his little quirks with ease. I would definitely recommend Chioma!”

About: Hi! New to Rover, but I’ve had so many pets throughout my life—dogs, cats, and even smaller animals—so being around them feels natural to me. I’ve also fostered cats through the ASPCA, including kittens and seniors, and I’m comfortable giving medications when needed. While new to Rover, most of my experience comes from caring for pets of friends, family, and neighbors, including feeding, walking, playtime, litter box cleaning, and just keeping them company. I’m good at reading body language and adjusting to what each animal needs. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they feel safe and loved. Available at request! Tues-Thurs 2:30 pm - 8 pm are the only times that don’t work for me. Every other Sat I’m working, but can be flexible. I create a safe, calm environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. Whether I’m watching dogs or cats, I stick to their usual routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I take time to build trust, especially with shy or nervous animals, by using gentle body language and giving them space when needed. I keep the home clean, secure, and pet-proofed, and I always keep water fresh and watch for any changes in behavior or health. I also send regular updates so pet parents feel at ease knowing their pets are in good hands.

“Kristin was wonderful with Florence, and us as nervous puppy owners leaving our girl with someone new for the first time. She sent photos and text updates throughout the evening to keep us posted. ❤️”

“Nijah took excellent care of our cat. She was communicative and we came back to a clean house.”

“Lacie did an amazing job with our dog and cat! She was super communicative and great at providing updates. Our cat can be a tough nut to crack but he loved her! Would definitely have her back.”

About: Hi, I'm Claudia! I'm an animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets—from dogs and cats to exotic birds and snakes. I'm about to begin my first year of vet school at the University of Minnesota! I’ve spent nearly four years working at a small animal clinic, where I cared for both boarding and hospitalized animals. Through that, I’ve gained experience with all kinds of temperaments and medical needs. I take pride in providing compassionate, reliable care tailored to your pets’ unique needs. They’re part of your family, and I treat every pet like they’re part of mine. I’m comfortable giving medications, responding to emergency situations, and maintaining routines that keep pets happy and stress-free—whether they’re puppies or senior companions. Pet care is currently my top priority, and I have a very flexible schedule! I’m available for daytime, evening, or weekend visits. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s routine and needs. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and creating a stress-free environment. I appreciate detailed instructions so I can best accommodate their feeding schedules, walk times, medications, or play/enrichment time. I also make sure to keep you updated with messages or photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for, as well as any issues that may occur. I am unable to care for pets in my own home due to my apartment not allowing other animals besides my own.

“Phoebe did a great job staying with our very energetic dog and cat! She even took our dog to her house to play with her dog in the fenced-in yard to make sure she got enough exercise! I've been very nervous in the past to leave our dog with other people when we go on vacation because she can be challenging around other dogs and people, but Phoebe relieved most of that nervousness with her updates and pictures. Our animals were very content when we got home. Will be booking Phoebe again for sure!”
