About: I’ve cared for dogs since my teenage years, from puppies to seniors. Lately, I’ve fostered and adopted senior rescues. I consider dogs some of the most special creatures on Earth. I work full-time from home and love having dog-walking breaks throughout the day. I can sit in your home (as long as there’s wi-fi so I can log into work) or mine. My 15-year old Chihuahua mix passed away recently, so I currently do not have an animal companion in my home, though that doesn’t last very long with me! I do not have a fenced-in yard; however, there is a walking path across the front street of my home and a city park across the street in the back.

“Xan took great care of my 2 1/2 -year old puppy providing lots of cuddles and playtime plus hikes in good weather. Xan paid good attention to my puppy’s eating quirks and medication needs. She communicated just as I requested and sent fun photos. I greatly appreciated Xan’s flexibility when my flight was delayed. Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend Xan.”
