About: I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to big ones. Before PA school, I raised a golden retriever from puppyhood to adulthood and handled everything hands-on: crate training, basic commands, daily walks, feeding, grooming, and vet visits, including emergencies. That experience taught me how to stay calm and act quickly when something isn’t right. What sets me apart is my medical background. Before every stay, I’ll ask about your dog’s usual appetite, energy, and habits so I know what’s normal for them. My PA training has taught me to pay close attention to details, so if anything seems off, like skipped meals, unusual tiredness, or limping, I’ll notice and let you know right away. Now that my classroom training is done, I’ve been spending time with my aunt’s dog, a high-energy puppy with a leg injury. I take him on lots of walks to burn off that energy while keeping an eye on how his leg is holding up. It reminded me how much I’ve missed having a dog around. I can’t own one while I’m in school, so I’d love to give your dog the care I’d give my own. I’m in my clinical year of PA school, and while weekdays are busy with my rotation, my weekends are available. I spend them studying at home in my apartment, which means your dog gets a friend all day instead of hours alone. I’m available on weekends for boarding and walks. My current rotation is local, and I’ll have my upcoming schedule by November 9, so feel free to reach out about future dates! I live in a smoke-free, pet-friendly apartment with no other pets or kids, so your dog will have my full attention. My corner unit sits right by the exit, with quick access to grass for potty breaks. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, and the walking paths around Como Park and Como Lake are just a short walk away for longer outings. I have space for a crate, food, and toys, and I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine for meals, walks, and bedtime. Since I study at home on weekends, your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches. Dogs are always leashed outside, and I keep doors secured at all times. I'll also send photos and updates during their stay.

“Ashley did a wonderful job watching my goldendoodle Crosby! She sent an update and/or picture everyday to let us know what kind of activities they got up to each day. I was very happy with how much exercise she gave Crosby, sometimes I was worried that he was having so much fun that he wouldn't even want to come home! Knowing that Crosby was in such good hands with Ashley while I was gone gave me a lot of peace of mind.”
