I work a full time job but can do it from anywhere with internet. My job is pretty flexible so if I need to walk a dog at a certain time or have a cat sit on my lap all day I can usually make that work.

I have a fully fenced in yard with lots of fun smells. Most of the yard is five+ feet fence but some is a traditional chainlink fence. We have a magnetic screen on the back door so when the weather is nice we have the option of opening the door so the dog and go in and out as much as they want. We also have a full door that can be closed if the pet needs someone with them when in the yard.

Information Amy D. would like to know about your pet
I want to know the pets typical routine, the words they respond to, the things they love (fetch, brushing, etc) and any fears (vacuum, loud bangs, etc). And I especially want to know if people food is acceptable or not, and how to respond if/when they beg.
A typical day
We live in a quiet area with mini woods and ponds so we’ll definitely go for a couple short walks or one longer walk. We will play with toys, get brushed, and play in the yard. Oh, and we have squirrels, lots of squirrels to chase!

Pet care experience
I have had two dogs in my life but have been the “best aunt ever” for many of my brothers and friends dogs. I understand that not all dogs are the same, they have their preferences, their likes/dislikes, and their levels of activity and stimulus. As a sitter I believe it’s important to keep up with the pets regular routine as much as possible by following the rules established by their owners. I love to spoil a dog and take them on more walks and more cuddles than normal because when owners/parents are on vacation i want the pet to have a fun vacation as well. I currently don’t have any pets so am able to care for the animal that needs to be an “only pet”. But I have friends and neighbors with dogs so I also have a way to help they socialize.

Reviews

Amy made Daisy feel so welcome on her first visit to Amy’s house. She did all of Daisy’s favorite things: played catch, went for a walk and snuggled. Daisy looked very calm and happy when we picked her up.

My dog had such a great time. She was well-taken care of and was properly spoiled. Amy kept me informed of their adventures and sent great pics for me to see. I am going to continue booking with Amy!

We had such a wonderful experience with Amy! She took amazing care of our dog, Del, during her daycare stay in her home. We’re so grateful to have found her and would absolutely trust her with Del again. Highly recommend Amy to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

Amy was so helpful and kind with Tessa, and super attentive to her needs. I would definitely rebook!
