About: Hi there! I've been on an incredible pet care journey since I was just 10 years old, when I started walking dogs and pet sitting for families in my neighborhood. It was the beginning of a lifelong passion for animals and their well-being. Growing up with two dogs and a cat, I learned firsthand the joys and responsibilities of caring for our furry friends from a young age. Those early experiences left an indelible mark on me and ignited my love for animals. In my early 20s, I welcomed a cat into my life, and oh, the stories she could tell! She taught me the ins and outs of feline care, and her companionship was a constant source of joy. About four years ago, I said hello to my first dog, Talgi, an Australian Shepherd with a heart of gold. He had some unique challenges, struggling with reactivity and aggression. This journey taught me invaluable lessons on how to provide for animals with special needs and the power of patience and love in transforming their lives. Today, my partner and I are proud parents to four dogs and two cats, and yes, we do manage to walk them all at once! If you've ever had to untangle a leash knot, you'll appreciate my leash detangling superpower. Along the way, I've invested time in honing my skills, taking dog behavioral classes, and mastering positive reinforcement and exposure training techniques with Talgi. It's been a remarkable journey, and I'm excited to share my expertise and enthusiasm for pet care with you and your beloved furry family members! I am currently a graphic design student and a freelance artist, so for me right now pet care fits in around my school and work schedule. However, since I am freelancing artist right now, and my school schedule is so variable pet care pretty much fits in anywhere I have free or open days out of the week! I care for pets by offering them as much attention as they need, by giving them belly rubs (If that's their thing!), keeping to their normal feeding schedules, and generally just watching out for their well-being while they wait for their favorite person to come back home!
