“Sophie was great!! She kept me very updated on my kitties with detailed messages and lots of pictures! I know my kittens loved playing with her and I felt great knowing they were in good hands! Would definitely have back!”

“Lindsay is a delight! Very responsible and a great communicator. And best of all she’s got a warm heart, loves animals and took great care of our older kitty. We will most definitely ask her to help us in the future”

“Molly was so so sweet and patient with my two cats. I had her stop in for 5 days while I was on vacation and I could tell from the photos, they really enjoyed her presence and felt cared for. Molly stayed for longer than was needed and also brought my kitties a cat toy they love🥹. I don’t have enough good things to say about her care for my babies. This was my first time ever using Rover and Molly made my experience 110% exceed my expectations. I will be re-booking with her in the future. Thank you so much Molly! ❤️”

“Brianna helped me out with a last min emergency. She was prompt, communicative, and professional. Really appreciate your help so last minute. Absolute lifesaver!”

On the weekends, our entire family is home and can provide care and plenty of time for play for your pet! We have a fenced in yard and currently no animals of our own in our house. “Olivia was super responsive to my messages, right on time with the visit and took great care of my kitty! Would highly recommend Olivia for your fur babies! 💗”

About: Hi, I’m Caitlyn, you can also call me Wren! I have experience caring for several family dogs, one of which was a senior and had lots of mobility issues and pain, so I got comfortable helping her get around safely and giving her medicine. I have also watched many dogs of various sizes & needs for neighbors and friends. I love taking dogs on walks (if they are able), and am happy to match whatever their energy level is! I have a flexible schedule, working just part time and attending one college course, so I have plenty of availability to spend time with your fur babies! I understand the level of trust placed in me when going into other peoples’ homes to care for their pets, so I am conscious to always leave the space as I found it and go over with clients the spaces and items I should and should not interact with. I am happy to provide extra services like grabbing mail & watering plants if you would like, just let me know!
“Elizabeth was reliable timely kind caring and thorough. We got so many great updates about our pup with every visit. We felt very comfortable having her in our home and trusting her with our pet. We will book her again. Highly recommended.”
About: Over the course of my life, I have taken care of two cats and one dog. I am a responsible and attentive towards all animals in my care, and strive to make them as comfortable as possible. I am also an excellent communicator! I am currently working part time, so I have availability weekday afternoons/evenings! I am also flexible about doing work on weekend. I am excited to work with you :) I can only pet-sit in other homes, my home is not a suitable place for a pet to stay. I am excellent at communicating and following directions, so when I stay with your pet they will be well-loved and comfortable.
“Samantha was the perfect person to care for our 16 year old Doxie while we were away. He was experiencing high anxiety during these few days and Samantha put my mind at ease knowing she was there. She was communicative, gave us updates, and was flexible with our schedule.”

About: I've been housesitting/petsitting since I was 18. I am caring, resourceful, and always learning. When I'm house-sitting, your peace of mind is my peace of mind. My goals are: - Create a good connection with the pet(s) - Be a well-rounded caretaker (watch for signs of stress, implement a disciplined reward system, positive affection etc.) - Keep open communication I love taking pictures of animals, so you can expect updates and fun photos from home while you're away! Work: A part-time job in Stillwater, MN. I usually work one shift per week ranging from 4 to 8 hrs. I babysit three days a week (approx. 4-7pm Tues & Fri, 10am-1:30 Sat) in Woodbury, MN. School: I am enrolled in college. This spring semester I am taking seven credits. (One in-person class. 9:15-11:35 M & W) Volunteer: I am a reading partner for a student in St. Paul. My assigned session is every Thursday at 3 pm - 4 pm until the end of the school year. In my free time I am active with activities such as swimming, kayaking, rollerblading, hiking, biking, dogwalking :) and I enjoy nature. I spend most nights in. I like to stay home reading, studying, or working on a project. I am adaptable and respectful in other people's space. I have numerous (5+) return clients whose houses I've stayed at. About: I grew up with cats and dogs, and I've got two cats and a doggo of my own. I'll treat your pup like their part of my pack. I'm working from home on Mondays and in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday. I can come home over lunch if boarding during the week. I have a fenced in yard and a great neighborhood for taking walks. I can provide a separate room for pets, as well as a crate, if needed.
About: Dogs and cats have been a part of my world since birth and I rescued my 11yo black lab, Simon, in the early days of the pandemic. I am excited to get to know you and your pets and to be a part of making their days, and your life, a little bit easier. I have experience walking dogs that are a bit more reactive, working to get them away from the stressful situation and redirecting their attention. I have cared for pets of friends and coworkers in the past and I love knowing that I can help remove some worry as they are away from home. If I am scheduled to take care of a pet, working that into my day will be at the top of the priority list. I know what it feels like to really trust a pet sitter, and I hope to earn and keep your trust. I take my dog on 2-3 miles of walks during the week and 3-4 on the weekend. As a rescue, he is easily spooked, so if something spooks him on a walk, I listen to him and start to head home. Building trust with a dog is really important to me, and that comes with consistent baby steps.
Macalester-Groveland pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jayda was great with my timid cat while we were gone! It was the first time she has been fully alone since my other cat passed away and Jayda spent lots of time playing and petting on her to keep her company. She was also very consistent and sent lots of photos to let us know how Harper was doing.

Although had to leave my cat for three weeks to travel abroad, I felt better because Lillian would be taking care of her. My cat is extremeley picky and yet she warms to Lillian and her care. Thank you! I will definitely check to see if you're available again.

Lindsay was great! Dropped on to check in on our deaf, shy, and elderly cat while we were gone. She spent time brushing, giving treats, and giving her some human company. I felt very comfortable with Lindsay. I can tell she really cared about our kitty and all animals for that matter. Sent plenty of pictures, which helped put us at ease knowing she was cared for. I would definitely recommend Lindsay, and will definitely contact her the next time we need somebody to drop in!

Samantha did an amazing job caring for my dog while I was away on a day trip up north during labor day weekend. She was able to meet Luchito ahead of time and asked thoughtful questions about his routine and needs. During the visit, she kept me updated and shared photos from their walk. It was reassuring knowing my dog was being so well cared for. I would definitely recommend her!

Carley was great! She was always on time (except for when she had a family emergency and she told me about it and my cats got fed a couple hours late so no big deal). I gave her quite a lot of specific instructions and she followed them well! She also kept me informed of what was going on with my cats and sent lots of pictures. She was also very responsive. Would definitely hire her again!
