“I was super happy with Sarah when she pet sat my cat Flash over the Christmas holiday. She was communicative, dependable, and took great care of him. I’d happily book her again.”

“Angela was wonderful! She came into our home for 10 days to take care of our cats while we were out of town. Having someone you can trust makes everything so much easier!”

“Katie was marvelous watching our cat and dog for a week. She kept us updated on their shenanigans and sent us plenty of photos so we knew how they were doing. She was super responsive and took such great care of our furry friends!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful meet and greet with Xinia. She was calm, polite, and very attentive. She had clearly taken the time to read Mr. Grey’s profile beforehand, which I truly appreciated — it showed thoughtfulness and preparation. She listened carefully to all directions and asked great clarifying questions. I especially valued how reassuring she was regarding the Rover app and confirming our repeat weekly walks while I’m at work. As a pet parent transitioning back to a full-time leadership role, that reassurance meant a lot. She was prompt (actually early!), professional, and has a grounded presence that felt like a great fit for Mr. Grey. I feel confident moving forward with her and look forward to a consistent routine for him. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up on a hobby farm taking care of a variety of animals. I have done senior care for dogs and cats previously. I have two cats of my own (neutered males) who are easy to get along with. I have worked with dogs and cats as young as 8 weeks old through their entire lifespan. I am happy to do senior care. I have pet sit for a variety of families before. I currently work full time but a flexible schedule. If you need someone to drop in midday to walk your dog or check in on your pet I’m happy to do that. I also wake up early to take care of my two cats. My job can be remote so if needed I can stay home for specific times. My two cats usually sleep most of the day. I do not have a fenced yard. I live in a three bedroom with the cat boxes in the basement but scooped and cleaned regularly. I have multiple cat trees and many cat toys. My two cats also usually play with each other or sleep the day away. I am used to protecting client privacy, so your information will always stay secure.
“Shayla is the best! She took wonderful care of my cat, Goose. She provided detailed reports each day that included several pictures of Goose. These reports and pictures were fun to read and gave me peace of mind while being away. Goose absolutely loved Shayla and even allowed her to brush her - something she barely lets me do! We will definitely be booking with Shayla again.”

“Danielle was attentive, always in contact, and did her due diligence in dealing with my reactive dog. I could not have asked for a better sitter while I was gone for family reasons. If she’d be willing I’d definitely book her again!”

“Paige was very prompt and communication was great. My shy cat even sat on her lap for pets, so she definitely is the right fit for us. The dogs did well too. We will have her back.”

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I have been caring for them since I was a child. Our family had a lot of pets while I was growing up, and we always took in animals that needed help. Including baby squirells, a crow, a turtle that got hit by a car, as well as cats and dogs. This has translated into me being a life long pet owner, and rescuer of animals. I live in an area that has a large feral cat population, and I have taken it upon myself to help alleviate this problem. I have trapped, over 20 feral cats in the past 10 years. Once captured, I get them spayed/neutered, vaccinated, as well as have any of their medical needs taken care of. I keep each cat for at least a month to see if they are adoption eligible, and if they are, I foster them until I find a good home for them. If not, I get their ear clipped, and I release them. Unfortunately, this is costly but Ive been able to "afford" it until this past year when I had some costly vet bills. Including the last cat I rescued (Buddy) who was involved in a fight with another feral cat, got his tail bitten, and it cost me over $3000 to get his tail amputated. It was also a long, and difficult recovery process requiring many hours of care and attention. Luckily Buddy came through and is the sweetest little guy. I found a home for him at a group home, and he is now living his best life. I would like to continue to provide this service but I can not afford too many more instances like buddy, or ill be the homeless one out wandering the streets in need of rescuing. So, I have been contemplating ways in which to earn some extra money to help pay the bills. Once I discovered Rover it became obvious that this is the perfect solution. I can earn money to help pay for my feral cat project, spend even more time with animals, and provide a valuable service where I have a lot of experience. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages and temperments. I have trained many dogs, including those of family and friends. All money earned from Rover will go directly towards helping animals (mostly cats) who are in need in my community. I currently have 4 cats that I care for on a daily basis. That number can fluctuate because I periodically take in cats that I foster for at least a month. I will care for pets in your home by paying attention to your pet and getting an idea of what it wants and or needs.
“Jill did an amazing job caring for our two cats and keeping us updated daily with photos and texts. I would not hesitate to use her again or recommend her to others!”

“Jenna was awesome! Really helped me out with a short notice need. Dropped in to visit with my silly border collie. Followed instructions and communicated perfectly and sent great pictures!”

About: I grew up around animals and helping with my family cats from a young age. I Started dog walking and pet sitting for my neighbors and friends at 13. I used to volunteer at my local animal shelter and turned my love for animals into a career. Working in the veterinary field, I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have no current pets of my own, but would enjoy the opportunity to care for yours. I work full time but have alternating weekends off to spend more time with your pets. I have varying start times so I can be available for morning dog walking and drop in visits during the week. I know new environments can be stressful for pets. Therefore, I will go the extra mile to provide care for your pets in the comfort of their own home. I strive to provide them the same level of love and care as their own family. I have experience giving medications and dealing with various behaviors; therefore, I am ready to care for all your pet’s special needs.
About: I connect with animals on their level. I don't just sit or walk pets; I engage with them. Whether it’s an energetic pup that needs a long game of fetch or a shy cat that needs space, I prioritize their comfort and routine. I’m highly observant of body language and mood, ensuring your pet feels loved and secure while you're away. I am currently not working so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to whatever it is that you and your pet need! No matter what you're looking for, safety and trust that I will care for your animal the way you would are at the top of my priority list
“Jessica took great care of my pup, making sure she got enough play while I was away with friends so that she was ready to relax by the time I got home. Thanks, Jess!”

“Carolyn is great with our cat Tess. She is also patient with all my directions for feeding my fur girl - I am grateful for that. I recommend her very highly.”

Hannah was absolutely fantastic with our pups over the weekend! She did great with administering oral medication to our senior dog and arrived on time and stayed the full length of the visit for every visit. Our dogs love her and we can’t wait to book with her next time!

Had one phone call with Demetric and it was clear he was a kind person who loved taking care of fur babies. I shared care directions after the call and he appreciated that. He checked in on our Sabi - communicated what he got done during each visit, shared pics, and even brought in my Amazon package from outside the front door! Thank you Demetric!
They looked to have been well fed and happy when I got home. I always appreciate your willingness to communicate essentials so that important detail doesn’t get missed and that you were not put off by the snow. I am sure they loved your stories and I am grateful that someone they know and trust attends to them. Maturity and experience mean everything.

Rachael took great care of my kitten Dahva while I was away! She asked thoughtful question so that she was prepared for the visits and what Dahva's favorite activities and treats were. She arrived timely and offered my kitten a trustworthy companion and playmate. As hard as it was to be away, Rachael provided daily check ins and photos of their activities! I will absolutely be rebooking with Rachael in the future!!
