I grew up fostering and adopting, so I have always been comfortable around large dogs of all ages. I worked at a dog kennel where I became comfortable working with all breeds. My job duties included walking dogs, running the dog day care, and fetching with the dogs in a fenced-in field. I worked with aggressive or more nervous dogs, senior dogs, and helped train younger dogs to walk on a leash. I own two cats now, and I’ve learned how amazing and interesting cats can be. My cats have completely different personalities, and getting to know them has helped me understand different cat language and behaviors. Now, I’d consider myself both a cat person and a dog person, and I’d love to help you out by watching your pets!

I will meet your dog where they are at and give them whatever they need. We can go at whatever pace they are comfortable with, and I am happy to do a meet and greet prior to a walk or drop-in visit so they are comfortable. I love cats, and I can be whoever they need me to be, even if it’s just a warm body to sit in the same room as them.

I used to stress about Marcel while I was on vacation, and worry that he was unhappy or sad. When Abbie takes care of him now, I don’t worry about that at all. I know that Abbie takes care of everything he needs and I get good updates every day. When I come home, Marcel is happy and well cared for. 🥰

Schedule
I currently work full-time Monday-Friday. For drop-in visits and dog walking, I am typically available around 6pm or later on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I can arrange morning (8-9am) drop-in times as well as late afternoon (4pm) as my work schedule can be flexible, but I usually need requests further in advance for these times.
