“Sophie has been doing drop ins for my pup frannie for a while now and she’s always reliable, flexible with my schedule changes, and detailed in her notes from the visit. I know Frannie loves playing with Sophie!”

“We were a little nervous as this was our first time using Rover, but Molly immediately took those nerves away with how kind, thoughtful, and communicative she was. Molly truly exceeded our expectations with her amazing care. She sent us detailed messages and adorable pictures of our cat which was so appreciated and alleviated our worries about leaving our buddy at home during our trip. We will absolutely be booking Molly again when we need a pet sitter. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Cindy is the best. She was super responsive and took such detailed notes with several pictures each visit. We truly felt our dog was in the best hands. We knew Cindy was someone special when our shy dog immediately LOVED her at our meet and greet. I cannot recommend Cindy enough!”

“Lillian did a great job checking on my very old cat Meryl while I was away for the holiday! Appreciated all the updates and care provided while I was away.”

“Sarah was great! I was a first-time Rover customer as my senior grampa cat needed to have daily medicine during our summer vacation, and Sarah was able to drop in and get him what he needed. She was very communicative and easygoing, but most importantly, she made sure my fur friends were alive and well!”

“Lacie and our dog Finn became fast friends despite his anxiety as a cattle dog. She was able to understand his body language well which allowed him to warm up to her and prevent him from reacting negatively against troublesome situations. With both excellent handling and patience, she excelled in caring for him while we were away.”

“Kristen came for drop-in visits to look after our cat. Since I already have booked Kristen a few times, she follows all care instructions word by word. It is good to have Kristen here on Rover.”

About: I am a third year veterinary student and I have owned and been around animals since I was just six months old! I officially started caring for my own animals around the age of 10 and began pet sitting in high school. I have cared for animals with all kinds of needs and of all ages from the tough puppy stages to the slow senior stages. I do have pets of my own, three kitties! They are used to being alone during the day as long as they get their breakfast and dinner, however I do often feed them once a day for both meals so I don't have to worry too much about being home when I am pet sitting - depending on the distance. I am back in school for the semester but I am free some afternoons and most evenings to hang out with and/or walk your kiddo(s)! Weekends are a free for all; I am typically home most weekends with not much to do besides studying. I send pictures everyday and if there is anything I would want to know as a pet owner, you will know! I communicate with my clients daily to keep them in the loop. I am a veterinary student wanting to specialize in small animal and equine medicine but most of my veterinary experience (about nine years) is in small animal medicine. I inadvertently do physical exams and note any subtle attitude changes in my own pets but especially so in the pets I care for.

“Joel did a wonderful job AGAIN watching my cat while I was gone for almost two weeks! He even made extra drop ins to check on my cat to make sure he was comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend Joel as a pet sitter!”

“Lauren was wonderful. She was always on time. Always left plenty of pic which I love to see. And detail as to how they were doing. I look forward for her help in the future I Highly recommend her. She is the best!”

About: I've cared for two dogs as I grew up, and look forward to caring for more. I have done many long walks and dog park hiking with my golden doodle, and have also done some training as well. I know how to take care of puppies and adult dogs, but would love to learn how to take care of special needs and senior dogs. Dogs, like mine, are energetic and need lots of exercise, so I am always willing to play or exercise with dogs. Over the summer (June-August), I am free most afternoons and some evenings the whole week. During the school year, (September-May) I am more available during the weekends, but still free during some afternoon/evenings during the week, which I'll update as I get my schedule. At home, I care for my dog by giving him plenty of snuggles, but also getting up and playing with him when he lets me know he wants to play. I am alert and can sense what my dog may need, such as going potty, playing, or eating. When walking/going to the dog park, I watch over my dog at all times, and walk along with him. During walks, I make sure that he is safe to walk and sniff the whole time. At dog parks, I encourage him to meet other dogs and run around while still being present. I notice when my dog gets tired or needs water, and I am prepared by bringing a water bottle.
“On short notice I needed a cat sitter and Kaelyn was able to step in. She did a great job with my cat who likes to hide from everyone. I would definitely book Kaelyn again. 😁”

“Mia was great! I got updates throughout my trip and she was very flexible when it looked like I was going to be delayed today. Definitely would hire her again”

“Emily did such a fantastic job with my kitty! So many great photos and very detailed descriptions put me at ease while traveling for work. She also administered three different medications daily for him, including an injection! Would highly recommend trusting Emily with your pets and will be booking her again on my next work trip :)”
“This was our first time using Rover, and we couldn't be happier with the service! Audrey was fantastic during the stop-in visits for our dogs. She was prompt, professional, and made sure to give us updates after each visit, which was so reassuring.”

Midway pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jillian was fantastic! She was extremely reliable and very communicative. Our cat was very well cared for and Jillian regularly sent photos. She was very flexible when we needed her to continue cat sitting for another day. I’m so glad we found her! Thank you Jillian!!
Amanda is definitely one of the best pet sitters I’ve experienced, they go above what’s expected. My cats appreciated their calm nature, immediately approaching them, which is rare. I felt confident that all my cats ate because they stayed and spent time with them to make sure. They also send a ton of pictures where I could see interaction with each pet, even the shy & anxious ones!

We’re so thankful Alexandra was available somewhat last minute to visit our cats again! She did a great job and goes above and beyond. She was willing to add an extra visit for us as well which gave us extra peace of mind. She always takes great pictures as well!
