About: I spent much of my childhood helping neighbors and friends care for their pups. My first “job” was in the sixth grade, when after school I walked my neighbor’s dog every day. Since then, I’ve walked countless four-legged friends of all sizes, energy levels, and ages, spent nights with dogs whose owners were away, checked on them as many times per day as is needed, and anything else in between. I have some experience training my family’s puppy, and I’m comfortable administering simple medication with clear information. To me, the most important part of dog care is understanding what the pup needs and how he or she feels. I am a young adult living in the twin cities and living a simple, quiet life. I work flexible hours at a coffee shop in St. Paul, and love spending time outside, in good conversations, and exploring the area. I don’t have a pet of my own (because of where I live), but pet care is easy to fit into my routine because of how my life looks right now. My current living situation doesn’t allow pets, but the friends I have helped with dog walking or sitting have all gone so very well. I’ve worked with dogs all over the spectrum of age, size, level of training, etc, but have always connected very easily with the dog and develop a level of trust and cooperation quickly.

Mackenzie S. was outstanding with our newly adopted two year old English Mastiff. We were hesitant to leave for two weeks on vacation given our sweet dog was new to our family. Mackenzie met with us twice prior to our scheduled vacation. It helped Nala to get to know him prior to our departure. Mackenzie communicated with us throughout our trip and sent us pictures of Nala. It was reassuring to have intermittent updates. Our house was in perfect condition when we arrived home. Our bedding was washed and the bed was made prior to our return. I would recommend Mackenzie to anyone that needs care for their pets. I hope Mackenzie will be available for all of our future travels!
Julia did such a great job taking care of my cat, Rumplestitskin. He got sick the last time I went out of town, so not only did she have to remember his meds, but I asked her to update me twice a day of whether he was still eating well. She did so cheerfully, and I came back to a happy cat and a clean apartment. Will definitely book her again!
Hannah did an incredible job caring for our fur babies! She gave us detailed information about how they were doing, and checked in often. She even navigated a detector in the house that unexpectedly went off! Hopefully we'll be able to work with Hannah again soon!
Ally is a fantastic dog/house-sitter. She took wonderful care of my dog. He looked better when I came back than when I left! She sent me many pictures and updates. She is polite and personable. And she did some extras, like cleaning up the house and even weeding my garden. Truly, she is a gem.
Katie was awesome and it was one of the best dog-sitting experiences we’ve had. We have a senior dog who prefers to stay in our home when we need to be away. Katie was communicative and sent regular updates and photos, took great care of our dog, and left the house just as she found it. When we returned home, our dog was happy and comfortable - not anxious and stressed as she’s been at other times when we’ve returned. Gretchen was great! My two cats loved her and she did a fantastic job taking care of them. She sent pictures and videos so I wouldn't miss my fur babies too much. The house was spotless when I returned. She definitely went above and beyond. I'll definitely rebook with her again.
This sitter was amazing! Highly recommend. Our pets loved her and were well taken care of. Our anxious dog had no issues while we were away. She was clean, took initiative to bring in the trash bins and get our mail (things we didn’t ask her to do). 10/10 would recommend!
