“Our cat tends to hold a grudge any time he has been left alone for more than a day, and he shows it by meowing loudly for at least a half hour. Molly gave him so much attention that he happily acknowledged our return from a week's vacation without complaint. That was proof he had received the best care while we were away.”

“She was highly communicative throughout the stay and went above and beyond by leaving allergy wipes and tablets for my cat. I recommend her and will definitely book again!”

“Olivia was super responsive to my messages, right on time with the visit and took great care of my kitty! Would highly recommend Olivia for your fur babies! 💗”

“Jennifer took excellent care of my pup, Luchito. She dropped in and took him out, played and fed him. It put me at ease knowing he was in good hands. She was great at communicating updates. Would highly recommend and will hire again in the future.”

“This was our first experience using Rover. Thank you for making it so easy. Macy S was the best! She was so polite and conscientious. She sent the cutest pictures of our cats warming up to her and it made us feel relieved they were safe so we could enjoy our time away from them. Overall very positive experience. Would use Rover again.”

About: Andrew grew up taking care of family dogs, and Katie grew up caring for family cats. Together, our family had a dog for over 12 years who recently passed away. We love animals and find joy in caring for them! Katie works full time from home so is available to take wonderful care of your pet! On the weekends, our entire family is home and can provide care and plenty of time for play for your pet! We have a fenced in yard and currently no animals of our own in our house. We are also available to come to your home for walks or to spend time with your pet during the day.

About: A may be new to this, but I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like my own. I’m patient, attentive, and love staying active, so long walks, playtime, and keeping pets happy comes naturally to me. I’m so excited to spend time with your animal/s and hope to chat soon! 😁 I’m currently on summer break from college, which provides a flexible schedule that allows me to spend plenty of time caring for pets. I’m currently studying nursing and working as a nurse intern, so while my shifts may change weekly, I’m reliable, organized, and happy to work around your pet’s needs. I believe pets are happiest in their familiar environment, so I’m more than happy to provide care in your home. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.
About: I’ve had different breeds of both cats and dogs throughout my entire childhood so I understand the responsibilities needed to properly take care of a variety of pets. My parents have also been on Rover for a couple of years and I alway love helping them out! This also means I understand the apps processes and how to navigate it. I’m a college student at Macalester college, so right now I’m on summer break. I am flexible with owners schedules and willing to driving all around the metro for visits or at home stays! I can do whatever the owner feels is necessary for their pet. Whether it’s putting pets into crates, or active play, or if meals need to be more hands on, I feel comfortable caring for them in pretty much any situation. I don’t have much experience caring for dogs with special needs, so some animals who need that type of assistance might be out of the realm of care I can provide.
“Jenna was awesome! Really helped me out with a short notice need. Dropped in to visit with my silly border collie. Followed instructions and communicated perfectly and sent great pictures!”

“Elizabeth did a great job with drop in visits for our two dogs. The dogs really liked her and I felt comfortable leaving them with her. She sent plenty of photos and updates. I highly recommend Elizabeth!”

“Cindy is an absolute pleasure to work with. I can tell she adores our cats. She shares wonderful updates and we feel so much better knowing she is going to show our cats affection while we are out of town.”

“Sara is awesome! She sent lots of pictures every day and we knew our fur babies were in good hands while we were away. Sara is communicative, friendly, and gave our two cats lots of love. Thank you Sara!!”

“Brianna helped me out with a last min emergency. She was prompt, communicative, and professional. Really appreciate your help so last minute. Absolute lifesaver!”
“Lauren was wonderful. She was always on time. Always left plenty of pic which I love to see. And detail as to how they were doing. I look forward for her help in the future I Highly recommend her. She is the best!”

About: I worked at a doggy daycare during undergrad, and it remains one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever had. Through that experience, I became comfortable managing dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. Now, as a full-time teacher, I’m looking for something flexible that still allows me to do what I love. I recently lost my senior dog who required daily medication and specialized mobility care, which gave me firsthand experience with attentive, patient, and detail-oriented pet care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I approach every visit with that same level of responsibility and compassion. I’ll treat your furry family members like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. As a full-time teacher, I’m typically available on weekdays starting around 4 PM, with flexibility to check in on pets through the evening (up to 10 PM). I do have a few schedule exceptions, but I’m always happy to communicate and find times that work. I’m also up early and need to be at school by 7 AM. With my experience working at a doggy daycare, I’ve developed a variety of approaches to safely care for and support pets with different needs, personalities, and routines. I prioritize a calm, secure, and consistent environment while closely following your care instructions. I’m also a big communicator! I know how much it means to stay connected, so you can expect plenty of updates and photos of your furry family members while you’re away.

Jayda was great with my timid cat while we were gone! It was the first time she has been fully alone since my other cat passed away and Jayda spent lots of time playing and petting on her to keep her company. She was also very consistent and sent lots of photos to let us know how Harper was doing.

Although had to leave my cat for three weeks to travel abroad, I felt better because Lillian would be taking care of her. My cat is extremeley picky and yet she warms to Lillian and her care. Thank you! I will definitely check to see if you're available again.

Samantha did an amazing job caring for my dog while I was away on a day trip up north during labor day weekend. She was able to meet Luchito ahead of time and asked thoughtful questions about his routine and needs. During the visit, she kept me updated and shared photos from their walk. It was reassuring knowing my dog was being so well cared for. I would definitely recommend her!
