About: I have been pet sitting for friends, family and other services for 8 years, but have always had pets in my life. I grew up with three cats and two large dogs. Since leaving home I have missed taking care of and being around pets so I love to help take care of others. I am currently in school pursuing my Master’s in Nursing and I am around most evenings, weekends, and holidays. I am reliable, communicative, and trustworthy and would love to meet your pet(s)! I work in Saint Paul but have most evenings, weekends, and holidays free! I am willing to house sit or walk, depending on the pet. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.

About: -Spent a summer working as a veterinary assistant. Duties included: bringing pets into the clinic, weighing pets, assisting vets with vaccinations, serving as a liaison between customers, reception, and veterinarians. -3 years Winona Humane Society volunteer. Duties included: dog walking, dog and cat socialization. -Owned 4 dogs growing up! Assisted with medications, training, feeding, walking, etc. Available after 2 or 3:00pm during the weekdays for drop ins, dog/cat sitting, or dog walking. Can be made available on weekends as well. It is crucial to make sure your pets have regular meal times, daily walks, and plenty of playtime!

About: Hi, I’m Deanna! I’m a lifelong animal lover and 25+ year dog/cat mom. I have two friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats. I’ve fostered dogs and been dog sitting for friends & family for many years - I’ve even taken care of snakes and lizards! I have personal experience with senior dogs who might need an extra loving hand. I have a safe and secure fenced back yard to play and relax in. My resident dogs are small and like to play (gently) and have lots of toys to share, or just enjoy cuddling with other frequent nappers. I have two crates on-site or you can bring your own!

I’m available weekdays and have flexibility to tailor walks and visits to what your dog needs. Whether your pup wants a long walk, a run, a short potty break, or a leisurely sniff-and-explore adventure, I’m happy to follow their lead.
