“Sara has sat with my 2 fur babies twice now and she does an amazing job! They immediately were drawn to her even my 21 year old cat! I would highly recommend her to take care of your cats, you won't regret it!”

“Jenna was awesome! Really helped me out with a short notice need. Dropped in to visit with my silly border collie. Followed instructions and communicated perfectly and sent great pictures!”

“Hannah was absolutely fantastic with our pups over the weekend! She did great with administering oral medication to our senior dog and arrived on time and stayed the full length of the visit for every visit. Our dogs love her and we can’t wait to book with her next time!”

“Samantha really went above and beyond to care for my cat Maple while I was on vacation. I was initially nervous because this was my first time having a pet sitter and because Maple tends to be wary of strangers but Maple was very comfortable around Samantha. I appreciated that Samantha followed all care instructions and also sent pictures after every visit. This was the first time I went on vacation without constantly worrying about Maple and wondering if she was okay. Will definitely book again!”

“I had a great experience with Lindsey. She setup a time to meet with me and my cat to talk through his needs and be introduced. She kept me informed while I was away with pictures and updates about my cat, which made me feel much better about leaving my pet alone.”

“Kayleah is great! She helped us out last minute and was so efficient with communication during our time away. Our cat is also very particular about strangers and she did a great job taking care of him. We will continue to book her if we ever need someone to take care of our little fur babies while we’re gone.”

“Shayla was awesome! She did a great job of documenting the time spent with our cat, was very punctual, and seemed to genuinely care about her job. We highly recommend Shayla and look forward to having her watch our Tony again.”

“Kelsey did an amazing job!! Was very responsive to my little dudes’ needs and let me know if anything seemed off. Was also very responsive to communication and flexible with logistics around handing off house keys, etc. and is generally just really cool, nice and professional! Would highly recommend 🥳”

About: I've cared for several family and friend's pets over the years, loving them as my own. I can take dogs on walks, play with them, let them out, and ensure they feel comfortable and safe. I recently started a new job so I'm working out how my new routine will fit in with pet care. I'll be working some days from home so I will have a little bit of flexibility. Each pet has different needs, so I'm here to provide a great environment for your pet! Whether they need frequent short walks, to be let outside, play time, or crate time, I'm here to ensure they are well-cared-for.
“Paige was very prompt and communication was great. My shy cat even sat on her lap for pets, so she definitely is the right fit for us. The dogs did well too. We will have her back.”

“Andrea was phenomenal! It is evident that caring for pets is her area of expertise. I was apprehensive about hiring someone to watch our cat but Andrea put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying. We received daily updates of texts and pictures which we looked forward to seeing at the end of the day. I look forward to having Andrea take care of our cat in the future and would highly recommend her to others.”

“Sybil did an excellent job taking care of our pup, Lionni! Lionni can be slow to warm up to strangers and Sybil was very patient and gentle with her. Sybil was also super responsive and great to communicate with.”

“Brenna went above and beyond for my cats. My kitties aren’t the most approachable with strangers but she earned their trust and when I returned from my trip both kitties had none of the separation anxiety and stress I usually observe when I return. Brenna gave me daily updates with pictures and videos and I felt she kept up on communicating how things were going. I will be recommending her to friends and family that live in the area.”

About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid. In middle school, I began taking care of family & friends’ dogs. I love spending quality time with dogs, getting to know their unique personalities, and honoring their needs. I am also an experienced dog groomer who values building a bond of trust with pets and their families. I am a full-time student from September-May. I work part-time during the summer, so I generally have more time to spend with your pet throughout the week. I play organ and sing at various churches every weekend, which occupies my Saturday evenings & Sunday mornings. I also practice music every weekday morning. My home does not allow for pets, so I will be happy to stay in your home and take care of your dog in the environment they know best.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - West 7th
Julie was fantastic! She clearly understands cat body language and genuinely enjoys spending time with cats, which was very important to us. Our cat, Pepper, is extremely social, and it was obvious Julie enjoyed visiting and playing with her. She also took so many adorable, high-quality photos during each visit, which gave us peace of mind and made being away from Pepper much easier. Julie followed all of our care instructions carefully, including Pepper's feeding routine, and kept the litter boxes clean throughout our trip. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat. We're extremely satisfied with Julie's care and wouldn't hesitate to book her again. She's someone you can absolutely trust to take excellent care of your cat.

Being new to the area we were in search of care for our two male cats while we went on vacation. We had Beth care for our two male cats over the fourth of july holiday. She bonded with them immediately. We were grateful that she was available on a holiday weekend since a few other sitters we contacted were not. She sent updates each day. We would not hesitate to hire her again.

Cindy was perfect. She seems to truly care about dogs, especially ours. It was a comfort to know she could drop in twice to care for our Dear Floyd on our daughter’s wedding day. She followed all instructions and kept us updated. It was a comfort and a relief.

This was the first time I’ve hired Lindsay. She stepped in when I needed a last minute sitter. There was a lot for her to learn with complicated diets and 4 cats. She was fantastic! She Learned quickly, was thoughtful and caring. I was very pleased and would not hesitate to choose her again!
