“Bella had a great time meeting and playing with Kelsey, her family, and her 2 pups, Joy and Luca. I wasn't sure how Bella would do with a larger dog, and I was pleasantly surprised! It was so enjoyable to see how Bella interacted with everyone and how welcomed she was by the entire family. Kelsey is prompt responding to my requests, is quite flexible, and shared photos of Bella's day. I highly recommend Kelsey!”

“We would highly recommend Brianna! She sent us several pictures and updates of how Odin was doing and he obviously enjoyed his day with her. We will certainly use her for daycare again.”

“Ellen is so patient & understanding with my fearful dog. I drop my dog off with a wagging tail which says a lot! I am so grateful for her & her availability and communication.”

“We met Takenya for doggie daycare, and our dog had a wonderful day! Takenya LOVES dogs and it shows. Remy immediately took to her and the several photos and videos she sent showed how comfortable he was in her home and with her. He came home happy and tired🥳 Thank you, Takenya for caring so deeply and communicating so well!”

“Our pup has spent a handful of days with Teresa now - you can tell Teresa really loves and cares for all dogs. Our pup comes home exhausted and ready for bed at the end of the day, which can be a god send. We also love that the dogs have access to play outside whenever they want!”

About: Hi, I’m Claire, and I’d be thrilled to care for your non-shedding, fluffy companion! NOTE: My home is currently open to non-shedding dogs only due to my husband's allergy. I’ve loved animals my whole life—growing up with a cat, bunny, and dog. I waited until I had a home with a fenced yard to get my own dog, a 3-year old Goldendoodle, who I’ve trained through classes and now partner with as a certified therapy dog team. I’m great with puppies to seniors and comfortable administering medication. Your dog will be safe, loved, and well cared for in my home. When staying with me, your pup is free to safely explore, roam, and play in a fully fenced yard with a doggy door for easy outdoor access. I live in a pet-friendly neighborhood with nearby parks and walking trails, offering plenty of opportunities for adventure. Your dog will enjoy both indoor and outdoor social time, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes throughout their stay. To ensure we're a good fit, please reach out to schedule a meet and greet. Requirements for a great stay: It’s important that your pup is friendly with people and dogs of all sizes, and comfortable in a shared social setting. Dogs should be able to read and respond positively to human and canine social cues. At this time, I’m unable to accommodate dogs who: - Experience severe separation anxiety - Bark, mark, mount, howl, or whine excessively - Are destructive or aggressive - Are barrier reactive or escape artists (e.g., jump fences, dig under, open doors) - Have a high prey drive or extreme energy - Persistently dominate other dogs My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and happy environment for every dog in my care. Transparency about your pup’s behavior helps ensure the best experience for everyone! I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule tailored to your dog’s needs. My desk is in the main family room—so if your pup loves the couch, they might just make a cameo in my video calls! I can arrange my daily routine around your dog's playtime, potty break, walk, and snuggling needs. Your pup’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard with a doggy door, so dogs can come and go freely—if you’re comfortable with that. I also offer fully supervised outdoor time. Inside, pups are welcome on the couch and can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable: a dog bed, crate, or even a human bed. Our own dog sleeps on her bed at night, but we’re happy to accommodate your dog’s preferences. Currently only accepting non-shedding dog's due to husband's allergy.

“Lydia has been so flexible with pick-up/drop off times and is willing to watch our dog on short notice. Mac absolutely loves her and I know he’s so well taken care of when he stays with her. Most times he doesn’t want to leave! We will use Lydia for as long as she’ll have him! ❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets (fish & parakeets to horses) since I can remember. There were a few years in college and when I had a job that required lots of travel when I didn’t have a dog. However, my pets are my “kids” & are treated as a family-member. I love providing a safe place for pets while their human(s) are away. Since I’m retired, I am at home most of the day except for a morning walk; your dog can join me or they can lounge around the house while I exercise;) I can provide potty breaks q 2-3 hrs. Let me know if there are seperstion anxiety issues as I sometimes do volunteer as a driver for the ACS Ride to Recovery program (usually away <2hrs). I do not have a fenced yard but am happy to care for your pet in their home if they prefer being outside & running around a familiar yard; otherwise, I can provide walks on the schedule your pet prefers. Pets are allowed on the furniture & are definitely welcome to sleep on my bed! If car rides are part of their routine, I’m happy to oblige.

“Stephanie did a great job with my little Zena. She sent me a picture and updates on my baby to assure me how much fun Zena was having. It's hard for me to find a place or a sitter with a dog the size of Zena (5 lbs) and Stephanie made it so easy for me to book her because she had the perfect dogs and space. I'd book with Stephanie again!”

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“Karen and Ryan have been the best sitters for my puppy. He’s always so happy to go to their house. They’ve been feeding him and helping with a medical need during the day and are flexible when I’m running late from work. Would recommend them to friends and family!”

“I am pleased with my dog's stay! My dog has always really liked kids, but gets a bit more easily overwhelmed now that he is older. I can tell that Katherine and Andrew teach their kids how to be kind and gentle with animals and that my dog had a great experience! Very lucky to have found someone like Karherine, who works from home and was able to give my dog the support he needs while our usual sitters are out of town. Would book with them anytime again!”

“Absolutely incredible experience. Celia was easy to communicate with and sent me pics of my pup throughout the day. I would love to book again - highly recommmend”

“Kira and Alejandro were awesome with my pup. Walks and pics and when I got back, he didn’t want to leave. ??♀️ They have 2 pups and I could tell mine really liked them. It was a relief to know my pup had such a good day.”

“I was so grateful Nyree was able to watch Pierre so last minute. He seemed so happy and relaxed when I picked him up. Thank you for you kindness and for taking great care of him!”

Merrlam Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
We were so grateful to Tony for being able to fit us in last minute. Our boy has a bit of anxiety staying home alone for extended periods, but it sounded like Percy had a good time hanging with Tony and we appreciated the feedback after the visit. We look forward to using more of the services Tony provides in the future!
