Ellen was very thoughtful and thorough for our meet and greet and I felt very comfortable having her watch our pet for the first time. We GREATLY appreciate her willingness to take Yoshi last minute! We would definitely recommend Ellen and look forward to more visits in the future!”

About: As a teacher, I know each dog is unique and individual. I’m a cautious and observant pet sitter who strives to do what’s best for your pet. I prefer written directions as I know each dog has unique needs and do my best to follow them. I’ve been lucky to grow up with a cairn terrier, to have been a pet sitter for my sister’s pets for five years before I joined Rover, and I’m the mama of an adorable Labrador Husky. Looking forward to meeting your pack! I’m an online teacher who teaches summer school as well. I have time during my prep time, after classes and on the weekends. Like having a walking routine after my classes. Some days in the summer I’m more available than others. I will check on the safety and well being of your pet. I will replenish food and water. If they need some play time, I will also do that. Want them to feel safe.
“Tofte had a great time at Bethany's! She provided great detail on his end-of-day report card and had lots of pictures that showed that he enjoyed his day with her.”

About: 🌿 Loving, Experienced, Home-Based Dog Care Hi! I’m Shontay, and I’ve been a dog mom for over 10 years. My own dogs are spoiled, well-trained, and great with visitors. I work from home full-time, so your dog gets plenty of attention, supervision, and affection all day long. 🏡 Safe, Comfortable Home Environment I have a fully fenced backyard and a doggy door that makes potty breaks and outdoor play easy. I’m patient and experienced with helping dogs learn how to use the dog door, especially shy or younger pups. My dogs are potty trained and friendly with other dogs, so everyone settles in quickly. 🐾 Special Love for Nervous & Skittish Dogs One of my regular clients has a very skittish puppy who doesn’t like many people, but he bonded with me immediately—that’s how I earned the job. I move slow, speak gently, and let dogs set the pace. I want every pet to feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my home. 💛 What Your Dog Can Expect Here • A calm, loving environment • Lots of outdoor time in a fenced yard • Patience, guidance, and structure • Respect for their personality and comfort level • Updates so you always know how they’re doing I’d be honored to care for your dog like one of my own while you're away. “Xan was amazing! I was in the area camping with my dogs and wanted to take a kayak tour. I didn't think that the dogs would do great for that, and luckily Can was able to watch my guys. She was awesome. She communicated with me quickly when I was worrying and even sent pictures. She was very loving with both of them and even bonded with my 10 month old Cane Corso puppy.”

“Thank you so much for watching Tonka! He had an absolute blast — he came home, flopped over like he had just run a triathlon, and then gave me that “I had the best day ever” look. It’s obvious he adored hanging out with you and your family. The Best. Honestly, you were super awesome with him, and I’d happily recommend your dog‑watching superpowers to anyone who needs a reliable, fun, and all‑around amazing sitter. Tonka is already lobbying for his next “vacation” at your place.”

About: I've taken care of all sorts of animals from rabbits, cats, dogs, lizards and rats. I love almost every kind of animal and would love to experience them in full. I have taken care of senior animals in their last leg of life, almost like a pet hospice. Everyone deserves comfort and love. I have 2 cats myself, with my family. We all take turns and take time to care for the animals. They are like family to us, so its just kind of second nature to add them into our schedules. I have mentioned my family in certain bio points, but it will be just me showing up for you and your pets. In the client's home I would prefer a list of how you like your animal cared for as everyone has different schedules, but I would try to keep myself and your pets to your schedule. I know that structure can really help some people, and I know some loose reigns help others. So just give me a heads up for what you need and I will fit my style accordingly. I would like to point out that it will be just me taking care of your pets, I have mentioned my family in certain bio points, but it will be just me showing up for you.

“Lydia does an amazing job caring for our puppy! We started bringing Riley to Lydia when she was about 10 weeks old for the couple of days a week we needed to work outside of the house. Riley always came home happy and worn out. She got plenty of fun, playtime, and naps throughout the day and Lydia sends lots of pictures so you can see how your pup is doing!”

“We used Meagen for day care and our dog seemed very happy and not stressed when we picked her uo, Meagen sent plenty of pics so we could tell our dog was being well cared for,”

About: Hello! I'm a single woman with a large, loving home and lifestyle that lets dogs thrive. I like to share this with others, as I know first-hand the peace of mind that comes from boarding your dog with someone you trust implicitly. * I work from home, so the dogs are rarely alone * I have a fenced-in yard and dogs get to go out frequently throughout the day * I'm very active and go for walks and trips to Battle Creek and High Bridge frequently * I have a Frenchie who keeps to himself. Lazy dogs can chill with him and active dogs get to go on walkies with me * Couches and beds are allowed, so snoozing and sleeping is done in comfort I live alone and work from home and have ample time to take care of treasured pets. I walk daily for at least and hour and my Frenchie's not into that, so I'd love to have a walking buddy, or my Frenchie would love to have a lounging buddy. With a fenced-in yard, a daily step goal, and couches and bed available for lounging, dogs will be happy and well-exercised. I will take care of them like one of my own.
The median cost per day for doggy day care in Thomas Dale is $35

Takenya gave the very best care to our Dear Floyd in her lovely home. There was a Thunder storm when I dropped him off, so he was a bit frightened. She helped comfort him, helping him find a safe den in her home. He was calm and his happy self when I picked him up. We will absolutely use Takenya again. She truly loves dogs and showed great care for our Floyd.

Sarah and her family were the best thing Pickles could have expected! It was a perfect day on such short notice! Sarah did a great job getting to know Pickles outside and meeting her dog River (a sweetheart). They played together, went on walks, lounged, and our dog Pickles was welcomed into their home as if she was their own. Couldn’t have been more pleased and would happily book again and again! Thank you so much for a delightful day, I truly felt Pickles was not only taken care of but truly had a special day.

Claire was fantastic with Finn! He had such a wonderful time spending the day with her and Birdie. Claire was very communicative, responded quickly to messages, and kept us updated with adorable photos throughout the day, which we really appreciated. He's already looking forward to his next visit with Claire and Birdie. We highly recommend her!

Rachel was very welcoming to my high energy dog. While in the end it wasn't a good fit, I appreciate that Rachel was willing to give it a try. I also appreciate how responsive she was during the initial reservation set up and meet and greet. She is clearly a caring animal lover and I would recommend her!

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect sitter for my energetic and lovable 5.5 year old sheepadoodle (Mabel) Jackie has a doodle (Vinny) and the two doodles got along great. Jackie greeted Mabel and I with kindness and reassured me that Mabel is in good hands. She sent photos along with an update about how things were going. I will definitely be contacting Jackie again for taking care of Mabel; she’s absolutely fabulous!
