FENCED YARD - ACROSS FROM PARK!

Hello! My name is Lydia. I live in a big house with a fenced yard right across the street from Longfellow Park in South Minneapolis. It's a beautiful dog friendly neighborhood - great for dog walking! My little dog Pedro gets along great with others, and enjoys having guests to play with. I have kennels (extra large and smaller) with comfortable beds inside if required, in a separate room or if your dog/s just like a kennel. Dogs love it here, because it's a fun vacation for them! I play with the dogs often and have a toy box full of goodies for them to chose from and play with. My back yard is large and has plenty of room for dogs to run laps and to get plenty of exercise. I also take the dogs for plenty of walks though out the day and take them to the park across the street. I have experience in administering oral medications and have much experience with elderly dogs and special needs dogs. I take LOTS of pictures and bother you daily with them, but know you are busy so you are not obligated to respond to my texts - they're just for you to see how your furry friends are doing. I treat every dog like my own and LOVE dogs. I look forward to meeting you! I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to play with and care for your special friend. I have years of experience caring for dogs. I have a big fenced yard, and a big house with lots of room for your dog to play. I also have several different sized crates, if you want or need you dog to be crated. I have clean comfortable bedding for them.

Do not use Lydia. She keeps more dogs at her home than is safe or legally allowed. I booked a stay for my dog expecting it to be my dog and her two small dogs. Instead, as I dropped off a forgotten item before leaving town, I found another large dog being dropped off by their owner and overheard they are staying for three days. I did not agree or understand that there would be so many dogs boarding. When I brought my concerns to her, she tried to brush them off. However, I know that Minneapolis has laws about how many dogs can be in a home. I took my dog home. This company is letting this sitter book 5 or more dogs boarding in a home. In addition to the daycare dogs she sees.

Our dog loves going to Lydia’s! This was our second time taking him. He loves playing with other dogs and he lives his best life. Lydia sends lots of pictures to help keep you posted. She was a huge help for our last-minute dog-sitter need too. Thank you!!!

We don't typically have the privilege of visiting the same sitter twice, because we move so often. However, this was Cam and Morgan's second stay at Lydia's, and they were well cared for like the previous time. Grateful to her for keeping them on short notice while we attended a Twins game.

Lydia is great! Our puppy gets so much social time and exercise with her, and she sends many updates!

I live only a couple of blocks from Lydia, and the day after picking up my dog, I happened to see her while out on a walk with my dog. At the time, I saw her spray the dogs she was pet sitting with water as they were barking along the fence line. My dog is already somewhat skittish around baths and water, and he seemed noticeably uneasy after returning home. I now have a better understanding of what may have contributed to that behavior. Additionally, he had an unpleasant odor when I picked him up. Based on this experience, I will not be using Lydia’s services again.

I don't want any aggressive dogs, or dogs that don't get along with others. My little Pedro gets along with just about everyone, and it is fun for him to have guests to play with.
