Quilla can care for
Availability
I’m currently taking online courses part-time, and my sweet senior pup recently passed, so my schedule is flexible. I have the time and energy needed to ensure your pets get the stimulation and care they deserve even when their human is away :)

About Quilla P.
Safety, trust & environment
I’m dedicated to creating a safe and comfortable environment for your pet. I have the patience needed to ensure they feel relaxed and cared for.
Information Quilla P. would like to know about your pet
Let me know in advance if your pet has any special needs or preferences to approach them safely and with minimal stress (e.g. doesn’t like loud noises, barks at dogs/people while on leash, needs X meds at drop-in time, etc.). This will help me tailor your pet’s experience as much as possible for a smooth visit and to keep them on track with any training or health needs.
A typical day
I’ll give plenty of attention and treats (if provided & allowed by owner). For dogs this might include fetch, snuffle mats, or tug. For cats, we can play with their favorite toys, watch a little cat tv, or give lots of scritches if that’s their thing. Pups on walks can explore all the nearby park smells (while watching closely for potential hazards). If your pet likes a stroller for walks I’m happy to use that too! My old cat loved going to the coffee shop in his stroller and the baristas loved him right back :D

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, iguanas, peacocks, and more for over 30 years! As a lifelong animal lover I followed a pre-veterinary path in school and have experience with various animals including many special needs and senior pets of my own. I’m well-versed in pilling dogs & cats, subcutaneous injections, inhaler use for dogs & cats, and basic first aid. I’m familiar with difficult dogs (I’ve been trained well by my 15yo Shiba Inu!), and pets with unique behavioral needs. I’m happy to treat your pet with the love & care they deserve so you can rest easy while you’re away for work or play!
Reviews
I have only good things to say about Quilla as someone who took wonderful care of our two dogs, Mayu and Wookie, on different occasions. She was always responsible and kind with them, patient in making sure they were cared for in our absence. They're both nervous around other people and it was obvious from the start that they sensed Quilla was 'special'. We recommend her highly for her competence, honesty, and proven love of animals.
Quilla is an incredibly responsible and detail-oriented pet owner. We trusted her with our 15-year-old Shiba, who requires a complex daily medication schedule and can be quite particular around other dogs. Quilla handled everything perfectly, treating our senior girl with such patience and genuine care. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!
