“Rachel was amazing! She did a great job with our cats and dog. We unexpectedly needed a second overnight pet sitter, she was quick to respond to my request. Thankfully, it worked with her schedule. It was a relief to know someone familiar with our pets was able to care for them again.”

“Chioma was great- my dog can be a little wary of new people but Chioma was very patient and sent a lot of nice photos during her stay and took him on nice walks (in the heat!). My cat is also not the most friendly but Chioma charmed him, too. Thank you!!”

“Liv did an amazing job with Georgie. This is my first time using Rover as he usually goes to boarding at his daycare but he was injured so he needed to be home and not play with other dogs to protect his foot. Liv did a great job making sure Georgie was taking his medicine, getting cuddles and making sure it seemed like I wasn’t gone. I was out of country and Liv did a great job making sure to be communicative and sending all the pictures and cuddles. They also left my home spotless and it was a great experience. I definitely will rebook with Liv again!!”

“Penny was my favorite sitter so far. She was great at communicating before, during, and after the trip. She left my house almost better than it was before I left. But most importantly, she bonded with my cats. I felt completely at ease while away because I could tell by her messages and photos that she genuinely liked my cats. Bonus... She also has a sense of humor. I will definitely be booking with Penny again.”

“Daniel took wonderful care of my dog York while I was out of town. He sent me regular updates and I could tell York was happy and comfortable in his care. Daniel was also very neat and left my home clean and tidy. I will definitely have him watch my dog again!”

About: I had pets (dogs and cats) for 25 years. When my last dog passed in 2020, I wasn't ready to commit to adopting a new pet, but I have loved taking care of my friends dogs. They have encouraged my to sign up for Rover and take my services to others. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule. On the days I have to go in to the office, I put in a half day in the office and come home at lunch for the remainder of the day. I don't have a fenced yard at the moment, but I do have a tie out that I use so the dog can do its business outside. I do not leave them out for more than a few minutes. Instead, dogs will get walked several times a day for varying lengths. A short walk (10 minutes) before work, a longer walk (30 minutes) at lunch, and another longer walk after work.
“Olivia did a wonderful job caring for our two pups while we were away for 9 days. She was reliable, attentive, and cared for them as if they were her own. We appreciated the frequent photo updates which gave us peace of mind while on vacation. Our dogs were happy, well cared for, and comfortable when we returned. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.”

“Paige did a good job looking after our feisty little Yorkie. When we got back she seemed happy and relaxed. Thank you for taking care of her. Will be booking her again.”

“Cristina is awesome! She took Calvin out and threw his ball for him, snuggled in bed in the morning, and sent me plenty of pictures and updates! Have Cristina watch your dog, you won't be sorry!”

“Naomi dog sits for us and stays at our home. She is phenomenal. She cleans up after herself, takes great care of our lab, takes her to dog parks, and is well liked. I highly recommend Naomi.”

“We really appreciated Gretchen’s care of our golden. He loves walks and exercise and she saw that he got great walks everyday we were gone. She also left the house spotless which is not expected but greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Gretchen as a dog sitter.”

“Amanda went beyond the call of duty caring for our two dogs, who are quite comfortable at home but had never been watched by a stranger for an extended period of time (18 days). Both dogs took right to Amanda. She supplied text and photo updates throughout our time away. She followed instructions to the letter and didn't hesitate to ask questions or suggest an idea if it came up. The house was spotless when we got back, and the dogs were happy. There's no question we'll seek out Amanda again if the need arises. We don't think you'll find a better sitter.”

“Lisa was great. She was communicative, was a thoughtful and respectful house guest, and most importantly my two girls were pampered and loved well! I came home to two relaxed and happy pups! Will definitely use her again when I can!”

“Sergio did a wonderful job house sitting and taking care of all 4 of our pets. He was responsive, kept us up to date with videos and pics, and if anything happened that we needed to be aware of. When we got home the house was just as we left it, no messes, no old food or dirty dishes, even took the trash/recycling out, and shoveled the sidewalk and driveway (partially, it's a big driveway) from a snowstorm that happened. We'll definitely be asking him to house & pet sit for us in the future.”

“Anna is always reliable. We’ve hired her multiple times to stay at our house. She leaves it exactly how we left it.She sends pictures of our dog sleeping on her lap which tells me my dog feels safe with her.”

“Lacie was very sweet to my Scoot and gave him lots of love and snuggles when we needed someone to stay with him while he recovered from surgery. Scooty will miss her and if we need some help keeping him company in the future we will for sure reach out to her again.”
Payne Phalen pet parents share their Rover experiences
Of course 💛 Here’s a polished five-star review you can post: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ She was absolutely wonderful. She arrived exactly on time, sent plenty of updates and photos throughout the visit, and made me feel completely at ease. I truly could not have asked for a kinder, more respectful sitter. She even cleaned up the apartment before leaving, which I appreciated so much. Most importantly, my dog clearly liked her a lot. She is friendly and chatty and takes first class care of your dog. I would happily book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and thoughtful care.

Michelle was very attentive and conscientious in taking care of Trixie during our weeklong trip. We loved the pictures she regularly sent and how responsively she communicated with us. The house was left in tip top shape, and Trixie is watching for her return … which just shows the care and attention she received from Michelle during her stay.

Rachel was amazing! She did a great job with our cats and dog. We unexpectedly needed a second overnight pet sitter, she was quick to respond to my request. Thankfully, it worked with her schedule. It was a relief to know someone familiar with our pets was able to care for them again.

Mary exceeded all expectations by a wide margin. We are super picky on who comes to our home and takes care of our pets. She gave daily updates of our pets, kept our house super tidy, and left delicious baked goods for us (all very yummy!). Most importantly, it was obvious when we returned, our pets were very well taken care of. She loves pets and it shows. You will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to hire Mary.
Rachel is wonderful with our aging great Pyrenees. She is great with her meds and any additional things that come up. She is very responsive and lets us know how our dog is doing while we are gone. She also leaves our house nice and tidy. I would highly recommend her!

Katie was amazing with my super high anxiety dog who is super hard and shy. Shiloh warmed up to Katie pretty quickly and within a day was best friends with Katie. She sent me updates everyday with pictures and videos which me and my family absolutely loved. Katie stayed at my house and left the place clean, and sheets in the corner of the room. Katie is an extremely nice and responsible person, and is also really good with pets. We will be re-booking for sure.

We enjoyed meeting Katelyn and entrusted her the care of our 15-year-old cat. Emma is a bit suspicious of new people but we hoped she and Katelyn would become friends in the 3 days we were away. Katelyn said that Emma purred a couple times on the last day. When we returned, the cat box had not been scooped for several days, and it looked like Emma's water hadn't been changed.
