Since age 13 I've been taking care of family dogs and cats, as well as dog/cat/fish/mouse/bird/house sitting for neighbors and friends, and generally offering love to any animal I see! I’m nearing 35 now so that at total of 18 years of general pet responsibilities. I am very detail oriented, patient, caring, and hardworking and it would be a privilege for me to care for your fur baby. It was an honor (and the ultimate example of a 5 star review) to have adopted one of the dogs I cared for on Rover- an old, precious English Bulldog named Otis. Otis passed in July and I’ve been missing the presence of a dog in my life so I thought returning to Rover would be a good way to fill the void. I have two wonderful kitties at home that help as well ♥️ I have experience walking and caring for many different types of doggos including: "escape artists", timid dogs, stubborn dogs, well-trained and not so well-trained, elderly dogs, puppies, and more.

I will only offer pet care in my home to dogs that have experience being around cats and are OK with it. When it comes to offering pet in your home, I am very conscientious. While respecting your space I will provide excellent care and make sure you pet feels right at home while you're away :) You can count on me to: -play with pets, whether it be rounds of fetch, run abouts in the yard, or various kitty toy games -thoroughly clean up messes or accidents + keep things tidy for your return -provide pets, cuddles, and lots of attention -keep safety and security top of mind -communicate with you as needed -get the mail, bring packages inside, water house plants, etc.

Molly has always gone above and beyond walking our mini aussie! she is easy to communicate with and it's apparent that she cares about our doggo!
Molly did a fantastic job looking after my old lady cat while I was away! She was very responsive, followed my recommendations well, and even cleaned up some litter that got on the floor, which was not expected but appreciated. Hopefully she'll be around for a while and I can hire her again!

Molly was great house and pet sitting for our standard poodle, Wesley. She was very much on top of things before and during the visit and sent daily updates with pics. Wesley can be difficult during walks since he wants to meet other dogs, but she was able to handle him during walks and gave him plenty of playtime.
Molly was a great dogsitter. Despite not having cell service, I was confident our doggo would be in good hands. We would definitely book her again.

Schedule
I am open to helping with walks and drop-in at a variety of times/days. I understand that Rover requires you to choose a time when submitting a request, but if timing is flexible, that is very helpful to know so please feel free to mention that in your request. My availability varies day to day. One-off services are more than welcome!

- It's important for me to know the energy level of your dog and what their favorite activities are so I can provide them with proper exercise and spoil them with their preferred games/toys! Especially for walk, it's very important for me know how your dog is when near other dogs so that I properly distance / avoid any dogs we need along the way if needed. Working on reinforcing certain behaviors or mastering a new trick? Please let me know so I can I can keep working on this with your fur baby while you are away! Is your dog particularly afraid of something (loud trucks, children, music, etc)- please me know so I can make sure they are comfortable at all times! Any specifics I should I know about feeding time or treats, I will also want to know. I want you dog to feel at ease with me when in it's own home and especially around food, so please give me all the details that will help me respect their uniqueness.
