My name is Elliot A., I was born in Bemidji, Minnesota to my parents Don and Pam, and my two Dalmatians Siegfried and Zeus. Since then I have been absolutely obsessed with dogs. I started dog sitting for friends and family when I was 10 years old. When I was 12 years old I outsourced my services and did that as my primary employment until I was 14 when my dad let me bring home Kingston, a dog of my own. In between I enjoyed the company of my parent's two fabulous Yellow Labs, Jupiter and Echo. I worked for Out-U-Go! Pet Care in Madison, WI professionally caring for dogs, cats, and other critters from November 2016 - August 2017, and formerly worked on Rover from August 2017 - May 2020. My long-time girlfriend and I just bought a house on a quiet, dog-frequented street in Dayton’s Bluff, St. Paul and I’ve decided to go back to doing what I truly love, caring for dogs, now that I have a place of my own to do it in. At present, Rover is my full time employment. Making your pup my full priority. I would love to be given the honor of making your best friend a temporary or ongoing best friend of mine!!

We were happy to find that Elliot was still on River. We used him in the past to walk our dog and this past weekend for house sitting and care of Nola. His communication is fantastic sending several updates and pictures of their walks. We would highly recommend his services.

Elliot has stayed with our pup a couple times now and has been absolutely fantastic! He is incredibly diligent with his messaging and always makes sure to send a pic to let you know how things are going. We feel very fortunate to have found him to watch our dog when we are away!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
Rover is my full time employment, so your dog is my primary priority. No long shifts or classes to attend, so I will be able to be with your pup most of the time if they are boarding. My only time away would be walks on Rover, or the occasional dinner out. I am also available throughout the day for walks and visits.

Whether at your place or mine, I will treat and care for your dog like they are my own. My house is dog-friendly all the way, including furniture and a fully fenced in yard, and I have visited and stayed at all kinds of houses and apartments and am capable of giving your dog a comfortable at-home experience as well.

A typical day
During walks we will tour the scenic sides of the cities, including parkways, lakes, trails, and much more. Dogs who are so inclined and tagged and up to date on vaccinations will enjoy dog park treatment as well! Overnights include on-the-couch/bed movie nights with treats for us both!
