Hi. I'm a semi-retired woman who loves animals. I owned cats for 18 years, and more recently, my dogs for 15 years. They all led long, happy lives, but are gone now. I am looking to do something I love to supplement my income. Animals have always gravitated toward me. I've never met one I didn't like. I would love to take care of your pets while you are away or just need me to keep them company during these long days. My goal in house-sitting is of course taking care of and being there for your pets, but also, to leave your home exactly as I found it. I take Covid-19 precautions very seriously I am fully vaccinated. If you are not, please let me know so that we can both wear masks. Because my part-time job can be done remotely, I am able to spend most days (in addition to overnight stays) with your pets. If I need to leave for any reason, it's generally not for more than a few hours. I try to follow the pets' normal schedules as much as possible based on information and instructions from the client. This helps with any anxiety issues. Update: I am no longer able to walk dogs that tend to pull on the leash or possibly bolt. Especially larger, strong dogs. A small dog that pulls is doable.

I try to keep up the pet's normal schedule, as this helps reduce any potential anxiety. Often, just a kind human's presence alleviates stress for them. I enjoy just being there for them, and of course playing, lots of head 'scritches', and just hanging out.

Liz was wonderful! She was relaxed, kind, comforting, and understanding with me as I was trying to take care of last minute details before I left to go out of town. She was very good with my nearly 17 year old dog, Sonny. Liz treated him gently and sweetly and put me at ease. While I was gone, she touched base with me twice daily and asked questions when needed. I felt relaxed that Sonny was in good hands. I will certainly use her again. Grateful!
Liz was amazing, I knew Lottie was in great hands from the start. We hate being away from her, but were very comfortable being away for six days, even though this was our first time having Liz housesit for us. She definitely went above and beyond what was required, and left our house exactly as we did. She sent so many photos and provided great updates which we loved. We will definitely use her again.
I received consistent, friendly updates with lots of details and pictures--everything I needed to put my mind at ease about leaving my cat for over a week. I will definitely book Liz again!
This was a first-time visit and everything went smoothly. Liz is friendly and reliable--and judging from the pictures, Reggie had a great time while I was away. Liz gave him a good workout with the "cat dancer" and he loved it! I will be booking Liz again!
We love Liz! We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing our 2 cats were in such caring and capable hands. We got regular updates, photos, and little notes. We highly recommend Liz to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their furry family members!

Schedule
I sometimes work part time remotely, so this isn't an issue. Again, I try to match your pet's schedule as closely as possible. If they are used to having someone around all day, I am usually able to limit my time away. However, if your pet needs constant care, there will be a 30% upcharge. I do occasionally take jobs outside of my service radius, however, there will be an additional fuel surcharge.
