About: I got my first dog (Winston) when he was a puppy and have been through it all with him, including puppy training! Although he’s older now, Winston is still full of energy and super playful, so I do well with active and energetic dogs. When he does have his calmer moments, I’m always there for a short walk with lots of stops to lay in the grass! Additionally, I’ve worked with senior dogs in the past. I have experience administering daily oral medication and going for walks with dogs that have mobility issues, such as arthritis and weak knees. I love to go on daily walks, often in the late afternoon or early mornings, and always enjoy the company of a furry friend! On the weekends I am available throughout the whole day for walks and playtime. I have years of experience walking my own dog in a city environment and am always focused on my surroundings, from cars to food on the sidewalk, to ensure his safety and enjoyment. Additionally, I have a lot of experience working with dogs that have anxiety. Winston is very sensitive to certain noises, such as the shuffling of playing cards, so I always make sure to avoid using cards around him. When entering a client’s home, I always make sure to treat the space exactly how I would want my space to be treated; with care and respect.

About: No matter the size, breed or personality of your pet, earning their trust and friendship (along with your own trust) is my top priority. I grew up in a multi-pet household taking care of dogs, birds and small animals. Since then, I have taken care of horses, anoles, cats, parakeets and my curiosity for getting to know an animal's individual personality has only grown over that time. I currently have two dogs: an Australian shepherd and border collie mix, both of whom I raised from puppies by myself. We are an active family, walking/hiking and in general spending time exploring the neighborhood for hours a day, traveling together for camping or cabin vacations in our free time. It's cliche, but my dogs are truly my family and as a long-time Rover user on the customer side, I understand what it means to have a sitter/walker you can trust while you're away. I love finding people who strive to understand them as individuals and who are sensitive to their needs. My border collie is highly sensitive and I have learned to work within his limits, giving him the stimulation he needs by finding more isolated parks to sniff around, mental challenges inside, etc. that keep him entertained while reducing stress. I am more than comfortable getting to know your own pets' quirks and finding ways to keep their days consistent and stress-free. Pet care is already at the center of my life, as I have two energetic herding dogs. We walk frequently every day to help burn energy -- I like to let my dogs walk at their pace so they can sniff around and stimulate their brains while getting exercise. As someone with pets I understand the importance of trust-building in drop-in visit situations. As your schedule permits, we can meet beforehand via a meet and greet to get a feel for your schedule and space, and how to support your comfort and your pets'. Pets thrive with routine, and I strive to support that.

About: I grew up with cats, dogs, a bearded dragon, and a whole lot of fish. I have a soft spot for spicy cats as I have one of my own. Currently, live in a space where I can't have a dog but if I could it would be a loveable rescue who loves to play and to go on walks. I've taken care of many friends and family pets over the years and excited to make some new furry (and scaly) friends! Through the summer my schedule is very flexible. I work at an elementary school as a reading tutor so during the school year I am available late afternoons/evenings and weekends. I am organized, outgoing, and friendly and as long as you have detailed instructions I feel confident taking care of your pets in your home.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and have been around many different animals over the years. I started out pet sitting for friends of family members, and families in my local community in my spare time. I have also taken care of a few senior pets over the years by making sure they get their right medications and foods throughout my stay. I also help take care of farm animals, outdoor bird feeders, along with indoor and outdoor plant watering and care. I currently have two cats, Scooter and Goose and they are my world. I am currently working about 20-25 hours a week. My current job is very flexible with hours and time that would allow me to stop in a care for your pets. I am available to do a few days, with the possibility of extending that period of time. I would be able to stop in and care for your pets before I head to work for the day (roughly 4 to 8 hours regularly, but can be flexible) and again after I am done with work for the day before engaging in any activities or turning in for the evening. I am open to stopping in daily and caring for you pets in your home as I dont have much space while I am currently living in the city with roommates and multiple pets in our household. If your pet has a favorite park, or yard to play in, I would be happy to engage in their favorite activities hwith them in those places.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! I used to work at a dog day care (small and large breeds). I also volunteered at OTAT in Chicago for a year before recently moving to St Paul. Volunteering for OTAT required extensive training. Looking to add furry friends back into my life 💛 I currently work full-time but remotely and am very flexible. I’m available to drive and provide care in the mornings before the work day begins, during lunch hours, and after 4 pm. I live in an apt building and have plenty of grass surrounding. I’m near a lovely riverwalk which would allow for amazing walks as needed.

About: I've had pets since I was a child. My best friend and I would catch lizards and insects growing up. I've volunteered at my local shelter (in Florida), and I often visit shelters to give animals attention. Friends and coworkers know me for my love for animals and entrust me with their care when they are away for a work day or an extended period of time. I live and work full-time in downtown St. Paul with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide care on workdays—whether that’s walks, check-ins, or some quality time. About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid. In middle school, I began taking care of family & friends’ dogs. I love spending quality time with dogs, getting to know their unique personalities, and honoring their needs. I am also an experienced dog groomer who values building a bond of trust with pets and their families. I am a full-time student from September-May. I work part-time during the summer, so I generally have more time to spend with your pet throughout the week. I play organ and sing at various churches every weekend, which occupies my Saturday evenings & Sunday mornings. I also practice music every weekday morning. My home does not allow for pets, so I will be happy to stay in your home and take care of your dog in the environment they know best.

About: I asked for a dog for Christmas every single year while I was growing up. My dad had his reasons, so the next best thing was to walk my neighbors Pomeranian (named Snuggles), which I did aaaaalllll the time. In college, I would dog sit for my coach here and there. My brother has a golden retriever that I have spent a lot of time with. And recently, I had my first experience of having my own dog. Technically it was my roommates dog, but I loved her like she was mine. I would take her on walks just because and when my roommate was out of the country for 2 weeks, I was the dog auntie. I'm a middle school math teacher, so I have ALL the availability in the summer. Once the school year rolls around, I'll be available in the evenings and on the weekends. I am more than willing to have your pet in my car if we need to get to walking trails, lakes, and other pet friendly places to walk. This would only be if you are comfortable with me taking your pet to a different location, otherwise I am happy to do neighborhood walks.

About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. About: I’ve had dogs in my house since I was a baby. I groom and brush my dog’s teeth weekly. I love dogs and I will always give a home to one. I’ve had cats less than I’ve had dogs, I’ve always loved cats but wasn’t able to get one till now. His name is Piza and he has cerebella hypoplasia which is a brain condition which limits his coordination. If you have a pet with special needs that needs care, I’ve got you covered! I’m very familiar with cats having their own routines and schedules, so don’t be afraid to share all of your cats dislikes, likes and habits! I am someone who is able to match energy with your pets. About: I’ve always been such a dog person! I got my first dog when I was 12 and have dog sat and walked dogs over the years! I lived with my previous partners cats for a year and a half and now have 3 cats of my own and can’t imagine life without them! I am mostly available in the evenings during the week and during the day on the weekends! My work schedule times can vary so some days I may be more or less available than others. I do start school in the fall as well, so Wednesdays and Thursdays I will be off work and will be free to care for your fur babies after class! About: I’ve had pets for most of my life and have loved taking care of friends dogs over the years. I have a small (15lb) dog (4yo). Enjoy meeting new dogs for walks - and offer co walking if your dog enjoys that For my daycare dogs. I currently work from home. A typical day is a walk, followed by a nap on the couch some Zumiez in the fully fenced backyard another walk lunchtime nap another walk. For dog walking, I can take you dog solo or on a co walk with my little dog - based on your preference. Your Dog will play in the house/ backyard and every few hours go on a walk in the neighborhood. Your Dog will be welcome to explore my home as if it’s their own and we can adjust schedules to meet their needs.
