From living on a farm as a youngster to working at a kennel in high school and fostering rescues as an adult, I have had a wide range of experiences with animals, especially dogs. (I am cat friendly, too, and have also owned ferrets and birds). Pets have always been a part of my life. I have fostered puppies who were just weaned as well as catered to elderly dogs who needed some special care—I have even had my own personal (sad and difficult) experience with a terminally ill pooch. I understand that we're talking about the care of loved (and furry) family members—that's how I treat my two hounds, both adopted rescues. And I do my best to match the needs of you and your dog. If you walk your dog on a certain side, I will do the same. If your dog is going through training, I will work on the commands that you are practicing. If you have a high energy dog that needs to be tired out, I can help you there, too—I actually joke that I'm more of a "dog runner" than "dog walker" because I specialize is tuckering dogs out.
