About: No matter the size, breed or personality of your pet, earning their trust and friendship (along with your own trust) is my top priority. I grew up in a multi-pet household taking care of dogs, birds and small animals. Since then, I have taken care of horses, anoles, cats, parakeets and my curiosity for getting to know an animal's individual personality has only grown over that time. I currently have two dogs: an Australian shepherd and border collie mix, both of whom I raised from puppies by myself. We are an active family, walking/hiking and in general spending time exploring the neighborhood for hours a day, traveling together for camping or cabin vacations in our free time. It's cliche, but my dogs are truly my family and as a long-time Rover user on the customer side, I understand what it means to have a sitter/walker you can trust while you're away. I love finding people who strive to understand them as individuals and who are sensitive to their needs. My border collie is highly sensitive and I have learned to work within his limits, giving him the stimulation he needs by finding more isolated parks to sniff around, mental challenges inside, etc. that keep him entertained while reducing stress. I am more than comfortable getting to know your own pets' quirks and finding ways to keep their days consistent and stress-free. Pet care is already at the center of my life, as I have two energetic herding dogs. We walk frequently every day to help burn energy -- I like to let my dogs walk at their pace so they can sniff around and stimulate their brains while getting exercise. As someone with pets I understand the importance of trust-building in drop-in visit situations. As your schedule permits, we can meet beforehand via a meet and greet to get a feel for your schedule and space, and how to support your comfort and your pets'. Pets thrive with routine, and I strive to support that.

About: I have had a dog (yellow lab) since I was in sixth grade, and I have taken care of coworker’s pets on occasion. I now have a rescue pitbull I love dearly. I can walk and play and sit with your pet to make sure they feel loved and have fun. I am currently out of school for the summer and I have a very flexible schedule, and I would love to come hang out with your pets! I like to hang out with animals and make them feel comfortable; I have a nice large fenced in backyard, and I have a car that I can take your pet in, if they like going in the car. I am used to giving a dog two walks a day, in the morning and evening.

About: I’ve had different breeds of both cats and dogs throughout my entire childhood so I understand the responsibilities needed to properly take care of a variety of pets. My parents have also been on Rover for a couple of years and I alway love helping them out! This also means I understand the apps processes and how to navigate it. I’m a college student at Macalester college, so right now I’m on summer break. I am flexible with owners schedules and willing to driving all around the metro for visits or at home stays! I can do whatever the owner feels is necessary for their pet. Whether it’s putting pets into crates, or active play, or if meals need to be more hands on, I feel comfortable caring for them in pretty much any situation. I don’t have much experience caring for dogs with special needs, so some animals who need that type of assistance might be out of the realm of care I can provide.

About: I have grown up around pets all of my life, having had multiple dogs and cats throughout. As a teenager, I would be trusted by neighbors to sit multiple pets at a time while they went on vacation. More than that, I am familiar with senior pet care and administering oral medicine. I am currently working part-time so I am available and ready to handle pet care most days of the week, including weekends. More, I am able to do early morning and late night care. I can create a safe environment for your pet by finding their comfort and acknowledging what they need within the home. Likewise, on walks, I am able to handle large dogs and other animal contact, making sure your pet stays safe in my care.

About: As long as I can remember, I've absolutely adored playing with and caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Having had a dog since I was ten years old, I've had many years of personal experience caring for them, including but not limited to responsibilities such as feeding, walking, bathing, and distributing medication to them. As a full-time graduate student, I'll largely be available in the early mornings and late afternoons, as well as evenings, to care for your pets during the week. On weekends, I can be very flexible with timing based on your needs. Since your pets are a part of your family, I know just how important it is to have them feel safe, secure, and loved. About: My name is Serenity, and I guarantee peace of mind when you leave your animals with me. I grew up on a farm and with a mother who adores animals. I've cared for all kinds of animals and have extensive experience with looking after their well-being and health. I love any animal from big dogs to baby kittens. I know that your pet is like family to you. If you choose me as a sitter, I can promise that they will be treated as family. I can work with rescues and special diets. I can bottle feed and help with disabled animals as well. Not only am I able to look after your animals with the care that is necessary, I can also ensure the loving environment any animal deserves :) I am a college student who has lots of extra time this summer. I don't plan on hosting because I live in an apartment, however I am very respectful of spaces that aren't mine. If you need me to watch your babies over night, I promise I'll treat your space with as much respect as my own- even if your pet makes a mess, you wouldn't be able to tell because I'd clean it asap!

About: Hello! I have experience with animals of all types and sizes. I am available for drop in care and overnight care! I've taken care of animals with various personalities and special needs. I work Monday through Friday, working remote on Wed & Thurs. I am available weekday nights and throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday! I am not available for drop in care in the middle of the day unless it is on a remote work day. I am only available to take care of pets within their own home. I am comfortable with pet cameras! It's important to me that the client feels their home is safe. I can help with animals, pet hair, clutter in common areas, watering plants etc.

About: I've been caring for neighborhood pets since I was 13, and now I’ve been all over the Minneapolis area! My family rescue dog and elderly cat are my babies, they make me the best temporary pet parent I can be for you. I lost one of my elderly cats rather suddenly this fall, so I can say I definitely understand the anxiety of being away from your pets especially those with health issues or behavior quirks. I do what I do because of her, and as a Minneapolis transplant away from my animals, I am more than happy to spend time with yours! I work part-time, though my hours fall in the 9-5 window. However, there is flexibility for me to work remotely for part or sometimes full days with advance notice, depending on the project. I can usually accommodate whatever exercise your pet needs! I am also a dancer, so if your dog has acute health issues or requires constant supervision, we may not be the best fit, as training does require me to be out of the house in the evening. No 4-hour rehearsals right now, but I do take class most days of the week. I'll do my best to stick to a comfortable, consistent routine for your pet and make sure they get all the proper attention and love they need while you are gone. I'm happy to accommodate any medication or feeding requirements.

About: I've dedicated most of my life to the care of animals in my life as well as others! I currently take care of my at home pets that includes fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds, a cat and many pet bug friends. Nothing has ever fazed me when it comes to behavior or health, I've worked at PetSmart, Petco, vet clinics, with lab animals, as well as most recently I worked at SeaQuest taking care of the various animals there (including otters, wallabies, and sloths!). I know how to administer any meds/supplements and can help train and bathe pets as well. I dedicate all of my time to pet care, whether it's my own pets or others. I have no other obligations or distractions from pet care and look forward to enriching more pets' lives! I do daily checks on each of my own pets in my home as well as client pets to ensure nothing has changed and there aren't any concerns that may pop up, as well as monitor any outdoor time in clients home, with or without a fence. I ensure no foreign/dangerous objects are within reach to be eaten and when not in a fenced in yard, ALWAYS have the pet leashed unless owners have trained and informed me their pet is capable of off leash. I am also aware of all local vets, both emergency and regular.

About: I work at pet hospital as a veterinary assistant now. I have 1 large dog which is Alaskan malamute, 1 medium sized dog Shiba Inu and 3 cats which are British shorthair, ragdoll and domestic cat. I am professional at taking care of them. I majored in animal science working on pre veterinary programs at the University of Minnesota twin cities. I can do basic wellness check for pets. I used to help my friends taking care of their dogs including walking two dogs together, feed and bath. I’m basically free every day. I love all kinds of animals and play with them and I believe I can provide great care for them I have a huge basement and first floor for my pets to play in the house and he is well trained by me as an ESA dog.
