“Sophie has been walking our dog twice a week for the last few weeks and it’s been awesome! Sophie is always on time, is a strong communicator about what happened on the walks, and most importantly takes really good care of our dog. Our dog loves her and that makes me so happy. Thank you Sophie!”

About: I’m an Animal Science graduate and I train service dogs with Can Do Canines, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs in different environments and understanding their behavior and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, high-energy dogs, and older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to body language and routines, and I always try to make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also grew up with dogs and have hands-on experience raising and training my own family pets—including a feisty dachshund puppy who I helped train into a gentle, well-behaved dog, along with two other dogs with strong obedience and great temperaments. My background means I naturally reinforce good habits, use positive reinforcement, and keep things consistent with what your pet already knows. I truly love spending time with animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them some extra attention and cuddles. After graduating from UMN, I’ll be working part-time at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville (around 20 hours per week). My schedule varies slightly week to week, but this also gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. Outside of my shifts, I have a wide availability and love filling my time caring for pets. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can often accommodate mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended stays. I currently provide care in clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable in their own environment and routine. I always take the time to learn your pet’s schedule, preferences, and any specific instructions so I can keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. Safety is my top priority. I’m very attentive to surroundings on walks and in the home, and always monitor pets closely. With my background training service dogs, I’m confident handling a variety of behaviors and situations calmly and responsibly. I also have experience administering medications, including oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions when needed. I respect your home as if it were my own, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left them. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and communicate as much as you’d like so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Laura has been excellent - you can tell she loves animals! She is great with the dog that she walks for us. She is dependable, great with communicating and responses!”

“Molly was such a joy to work with and went above and beyond to give our dog a much needed break and extra attention in the middle of the day. We will use her again in a heartbeat!”

About: Growing up with 2 dogs, I know the amount of pure joy and giggles all doggies bring to families! I grew up with 2 little Dachshund (wiener) Dogs named Frankie and Lily! They were both so smart and oddly enough thought they could fly! They knew every night at exactly 9pm it was officially SNACK time! As they both aged, I spent much time carrying them up/down stairs, walking them and bringing them to appts such as Vet, Chiro and other therapies. There is no greater experience than coming home to your best friend wagging their tail. My main job is supporting the deaf/hard of hearing in the twin cities. My work experience allows me to get a sense of my surroundings quickly. I have experience house sitting, walking dogs and also taking dogs to vet/grooming appointments. Now I have 2 fur babies Highlander cats, Gracie and Fynn. ❤️ can’t believe I lived so long without my kitty cats!!
“Emily took great care of our dogs! She was on time for our meet and greet and made sure she got to know both Pete and Rosie. When she came to walk the dogs, she was able to get Rosie outside and down the road (which is a big accomplishment with a timid, blind dog)! We definitely would recommend Emily.”

About: My name is Serenity, and I guarantee peace of mind when you leave your animals with me. I grew up on a farm and with a mother who adores animals. I've cared for all kinds of animals and have extensive experience with looking after their well-being and health. I love any animal from big dogs to baby kittens. I know that your pet is like family to you. If you choose me as a sitter, I can promise that they will be treated as family. I can work with rescues and special diets. I can bottle feed and help with disabled animals as well. Not only am I able to look after your animals with the care that is necessary, I can also ensure the loving environment any animal deserves :) I am a college student who has lots of extra time this summer. I recently moved states and I deeply miss my own pet family; for that reason I plan on working with animals as much as possible. Tell me what you need, I'll work with you! I don't plan on hosting because I live in an apartment, however I am very respectful of spaces that aren't mine. If you need me to watch your babies over night, I promise I'll treat your space with as much respect as my own- even if your pet makes a mess, you wouldn't be able to tell because I'd clean it asap!
“We were so happy to have Abby walk our dog. She was prompt, took her on a great 2 mile walk (thanks for the pics!), and even fed her dinner and let her outside one last time before she left. We will definitely use her again! 😉 🐾”

About: I have had a dog (yellow lab) since I was in sixth grade, and I have taken care of coworker’s pets on occasion. I now have a rescue pitbull I love dearly. I can walk and play and sit with your pet to make sure they feel loved and have fun. I am currently out of school for the summer and I have a very flexible schedule, and I would love to come hang out with your pets! I like to hang out with animals and make them feel comfortable; I have a nice large fenced in backyard, and I have a car that I can take your pet in, if they like going in the car. I am used to giving a dog two walks a day, in the morning and evening.
About: Hello! I have experience with animals of all types and sizes. I am available for drop in care and overnight care! I've taken care of animals with various personalities and special needs. I work Monday through Friday, working remote on Wed & Thurs. I am available weekday nights and throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday! I am not available for drop in care in the middle of the day unless it is on a remote work day. I am only available to take care of pets within their own home. I am comfortable with pet cameras! It's important to me that the client feels their home is safe. I can help with animals, pet hair, clutter in common areas, watering plants etc.
About: I've been caring for neighborhood pets since I was 13, and now I’ve been all over the Minneapolis area! My family rescue dog and elderly cat are my babies, they make me the best temporary pet parent I can be for you. I lost one of my elderly cats rather suddenly this fall, so I can say I definitely understand the anxiety of being away from your pets especially those with health issues or behavior quirks. I do what I do because of her, and as a Minneapolis transplant away from my animals, I am more than happy to spend time with yours! I work part-time, though my hours fall in the 9-5 window. However, there is flexibility for me to work remotely for part or sometimes full days with advance notice, depending on the project. I can usually accommodate whatever exercise your pet needs! I am also a dancer, so if your dog has acute health issues or requires constant supervision, we may not be the best fit, as training does require me to be out of the house in the evening. No 4-hour rehearsals right now, but I do take class most days of the week. I'll do my best to stick to a comfortable, consistent routine for your pet and make sure they get all the proper attention and love they need while you are gone. I'm happy to accommodate any medication or feeding requirements.

About: I've lived with and taken care of animals of all types both in my home and as a house sitter off and on for friends and family for most of my life including all sizes and types of dogs and many different feline friends. I've cared for multiple temperaments including shy, protective, adventurous, friendly, etc. as well as done medication application, bandaging, scheduled feedings, mobility issues, and end of life needs. I've had many pets myself and love to bond with even the shyest of critters. I work as an EA in a charter school in St. Paul, so my schedule is completely open and free during the summer, weekend availabily during the school year (Mid August-First Week of June.) I personally have a cat at home that I care for and I grew up with both indoor and outdoor dogs, as well as house-sitting for friends and family so pet care has always been part of my daily life. At home, I measure food and free feed my cat and she has an automatic water fountain that's maintained regularly and her litter box is spot cleaned twice a week and fully scrubbed twice a month. She has many toys that are always available and I always spend some time playing with her every day. She loves cuddles and has them on demand because as soon as she sits on you kitty law is invoked and you can't move till she does. When I have cared for dogs I have done everything from walks in parks, neighborhoods, and dog parks as well as just playing in the house or yard as well as taking take of outdoor dogs, like working dogs. I have done scheduled feeding, free feeding, medications, etc. If I am staying in your home I will do my best to keep life as close to normal for your pet, apart from there being a different human in the house. I would also prefer to meet your pets and see your home before any official start date of a booking for us both to get a feel for each other.
About: I grew up with a house full of pets. From cats to dogs, to birds. My dad was a animal lover, and so am I. I would love the opportunity to care for your fury friend. From walks, to fetch, and cuddles and pets. I am currently unemployed, I have free time throughout the day, every day. Reach out with your needs and I will get back to you promptly! I have two cats and a medium sized rescue dog. My cats grew up around large dogs so they took no time adjusting. I have trained my rescue to become an inside housed pup, he has learned a lot of manners.
About: I set the intention of pet care to being a friend to your pet and partner to you. I respect boundaries and priorities as needed. I currently work flexible hours throughout the week based off clientele. This would be an addition to my job as some days I have the entire day off or atleast half of it. Your pet always comes first. I take care of others pets like I’d expect a stranger to walk in and take care of mine. I want to leave with the intention that if I were to come back, your pet would open the door.

About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole life, from kittens to seniors, and since I was 12 I’ve watched my friends and neighbors dogs as well. I’ve given both cats and dogs medication as well as bottle fed them if they were too young for solid food. I have an incredibly flexible hybrid work schedule! Whatever you or your pets needs, I will be able to meet them without any work conflicts. You know your pet better than anyone. Whatever instructions you give me to keep them safe, happy, and healthy, I promise to follow exactly. I love animals and my schedule is very flexible, so whenever your needs are, I will do my absolute best to meet them!
About: Hello! I have taken care of all sizes of dogs since I was a child. Firstly, I have always had a dog present in my home, and have dog-sat and cat-sat for neighbors and family. I have enjoyed getting to know a pet’s personality and what they enjoy. I am a young professional but only working part-time and from home. Therefore, I have lots of time during the week and on weekends to get to know and take care of your pets! When taking care of pets, I make sure that they have enough food, water and agency. Such as if they need to go to the bathroom, want to play or need special care.
“Shayla has been an amazing dog walker for our little Mabel! She’s very attentive, fast at communicating, always takes lots of pictures and always fills out the Rover card! If I could give her ten stars, I would! 😊”

“Madisen has been so wonderful with my dogs! I trust her completely to take great care of them. She keeps me updated and sends lots of adorable photos too. I’d recommend her to anyone!”

“Cindy is great at figuring out what makes Eli tick and working with me to create situations that are leading to success. It's not easy to bring a fearful cattle dog around to a place of happiness, but I see it happening and I'm so grateful for Cindy's' help!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saint Anthony
We hired Eleni to walk our dog, Bowser, while we were out of town and the friend watching him at night worked all day. When we discovered an 8 week old puppy under a car days before our trip, we scrambled on what to do. Eleni was more than happy to add her to the booking and spend extra time with her after the daily walks. The photos and updates were great, and we will definitely hire Eleni again in the future!

Olivia helped me out at the last second and I would highly recommend her! She was very timely and followed all of my excessive little details (sorry!). I know my pup was in great hands with her. She even noticed, informed me of, and removed a potential hazard that I had missed before running out the door. I look forward to booking with her again.

I maybe have left a review before but what's the harm in another! My pup is a little bit of a nervous girl and Haley has been very patient with her. Haley takes great care of my pup during, before and after their walks! And the updates I get from Haley about my dog are great!
