I worked at a doggy daycare during undergrad, and it remains one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever had. Through that experience, I became comfortable managing dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. Now, as a full-time teacher, I’m looking for something flexible that still allows me to do what I love. I recently lost my senior dog who required daily medication and specialized mobility care, which gave me firsthand experience with attentive, patient, and detail-oriented pet care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I approach every visit with that same level of responsibility and compassion. I’ll treat your furry family members like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

I prioritize a calm, secure, and consistent environment while closely following your care instructions. I’m also a big communicator! I know how much it means to stay connected, so you can expect plenty of updates and photos of your furry family members while you’re away.

Billie provides such engaged and thoughtful care of Archie. This was her second time watching Archie, so Billie asked me about any updates to his care. She's patient with Archie's energy and consistent in trying to reinforce his good behaviors. Billie is great about sharing updates and pictures too!
I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Billie. From the moment she first met our (three!) dogs, we just knew she was someone we could trust fully and completely with our fur babies. She truly went above and beyond - I think all of our pups wish she would just move in! We WILL be booking with her again.
Billie is so great with our two huskies. They absolutely love her and look forward to her stopping by. She goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and happy everytime.
Billie was a delight to meet and she took extra good care of our 2 pups. We have a senior dog who is blind and deaf and likes to get up very early in the morning to eat. Billie took extra good care of her, getting up with her and making sure she got outside to go potty often. She also won over the trust of our other dog who can be a tough customer. She took the time to send us pictures and updates to let us know what was happening at home.We will definitely hire Billie again!

Schedule
As a full-time teacher, I’m typically available on weekdays starting around 4 PM, with flexibility to check in on pets through the evening (up to 10 PM). I do have a few schedule exceptions, but I’m always happy to communicate and find times that work. I’m also up early and need to be at school by 7 AM.
