About: I have cared for pets ever since I can remember. I grew up with Labrador retrievers and was always wondering how I could enrich their life next. My involvement in the 4h Dog project when I was younger and my continuing passion for animals lead me to peruse my bachelor's in Companion Animal sciences at UW- River Falls. Since, I have spent the last 5 years as a Pet Stylist in Woodbury. My 2 year old Miniature American Shepherd, Goose, and I have trained in obedience, agility, barn hunt and more. Animals warm up to my calm demeaner quickly, and I've been told by pet owners that their shy animals have never been so friendly to a new person so fast before. I have experience caring for cats & kittens, dogs, and birds. I am very patient and gentle with animals, seeking to understand their physical and vocal cues to know what they need. I am also an expert at playing fetch and tug of war with dogs, and my expertise with cat feather wands means the cat usually gets tired before I do. I love walking, so it's a bonus if your pup wants to come with! I am a graduate student at St. Thomas with a part-time tutoring job during the school year, so I have plenty of gaps in my schedule to care for your pet. This means that I can spend time during the day, night, and weekend with your pet, including returning home for potty or play breaks in between tutoring or classes, depending on the needs of your pet. I am also available to stay overnight with your pet, so long as they don't mind helping me with my homework! I am vigilant and aware while pet sitting, making sure I know where your pet is and never leaving any doors, gates, or windows open. For example, my friend lives in an apartment and has two kittens who like to escape into the hallway, so I also create a barrier when I open his front door to ensure they stay inside. His windows also don't have screens, so I make sure they are always shut and locked up tight. I love interacting with and talking with animals when they are around, so even if I am busy working on my own projects, I'll take frequent breaks to catch up with your pets and give them attention.

About: My first German Shepard, Sheeba, trotted into my life when I was 4, and my intense, burning passion for dogs ignited. I’ve had them throughout my life and have yet to meet a dog I didn’t adore. Basically, I’m the guy at house parties in the office alone smooshing your pup’s face and giving them belly rubs. I’m comfortable with all sorts of breeds and temperaments. I work remote in a deadline based job that offers me some excellent flexibility. I’m able to be on site with your dog throughout the day, ensuring they get plenty of attention and outside time. When I’m caring for your dog, I’m caring for your family member. I know firsthand the amount of trust it takes to allow someone to be responsible for your loved one(s) and respect your property, and I don’t take that lightly.
About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and have been around many different animals over the years. I started out pet sitting for friends of family members, and families in my local community in my spare time. I have also taken care of a few senior pets over the years by making sure they get their right medications and foods throughout my stay. I also help take care of farm animals, outdoor bird feeders, along with indoor and outdoor plant watering and care. I currently have two cats, Scooter and Goose and they are my world. I am currently working about 20-25 hours a week. My current job is very flexible with hours and time that would allow me to stop in a care for your pets. I am available to do a few days, with the possibility of extending that period of time. I would be able to stop in and care for your pets before I head to work for the day (roughly 4 to 8 hours regularly, but can be flexible) and again after I am done with work for the day before engaging in any activities or turning in for the evening. I am open to stopping in daily and caring for you pets in your home as I dont have much space while I am currently living in the city with roommates and multiple pets in our household. If your pet has a favorite park, or yard to play in, I would be happy to engage in their favorite activities hwith them in those places.

Kelsey was fantastic! Ollie and Lola loved her. She left the house in great shape and we had aproplem with a complaining neighbor (who always complains) that the dogs barked and Kelsey had too many dogs to walk so Kelsey spent the night! Very flexible. She sent photos! I'd hire her again in a heartbeat.
I knew from the get-go that Laura was a good fit for us and our pets. Our two kitties warmed up to her immediately. Laura provided regular, detailed updates with lots of photos and we felt confident that our cats and house were in good hands.
