“Katie was great, she came through on a somewhat last minute request when my prior sitter was no longer available, and made it work! I came home to a pretty mellow kitty and had the ease of knowing she was getting some love while I was away. No complaints!!”

“Our two feline brothers Alpha and Leo were in good hands with Vicki. Literally! In addition to feeding and thankfully litter box cleaning, they enjoyed some TLC too. It’s always hard to leave our fur babies while traveling but knowing they are cared for gives us peace of mind. Thanks to Vicki!”

“Katherine is extremely reliable, communicative, and my shy cats loved having her drop by!! Would highly recommend, and will definitely call her in the future!”

“Sarah was absolutely the best with my two kitties!! She went above and beyond with them- and cared for my home like it was her own, too. Both of my cats eat different kinds of food, one day there was extra wet food to discard and she took the extra step to actually take my trash out so there wasn’t a smell when I came home. She was very communicative the whole time and sent the cutest updates on every drop in. Having the peace of mind while I was away with her as my sitter was really irreplaceable. I will definitely be coming back to her for pet care going forward! 😊”

“We have two cats with one of which who has a medicine she gets every 12 hours, so we needed someone to come at the beginning and end of the day while we were away. It was our first time getting a rover and are so glad we had Jennifer to come check in on our two cats twice a day. I appreciated so much getting a picture every visit and knew they were in good hands and taken care of!!”

“Thank you Dylan for always doing such an awesome job with my kitties!! In the photos you take both Frankie and Rosie look like they’re having such a fun play time with you!! It’s very comforting knowing they are getting such great care!! You are the best!! Thanks a million!!”

About: I’ve taken care of my family dog throughout middle school and teenage years. Neighbors, friends, and family members have relied on me to watch their pets as well. This includes, walking, bathing, medication administration, feeding, playing, and any other necessities the pet may need. I currently have two cats. I know pets can become stressed when their owner isn’t around and that it takes time to make them feel at ease, with going the extra mile to make them comfortable. As a pet owner myself, I want to know that my pets are safe and happy while I’m away and would like to provide the same to you! I currently have two cats that I care for every day, both of whom have different medical needs that require proper attention and consistency. Because of this, I am very comfortable with routines, monitoring pets closely, and making sure they receive the care they need. I work a regular schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and sometimes until 4:00 PM. This allows me to be available in the mornings and evenings for pet care. My boyfriend also has a flexible schedule and can help during the day if needed, which gives us additional flexibility to make sure pets receive the attention and care they deserve. I have two cats of my own who are truly my babies, and both are rescues. Maggie has diabetes and requires insulin twice a day, and Finny has food allergies along with another allergy we are still working to identify. Because his allergies can lead to ear infections, we take extra preventative steps by using ear drops twice a week to help keep his ears healthy. Caring for them has given me a lot of experience with attentive, routine-based pet care and administering medications. I plan to care for your pets the same way I care for my own with patience, attention, plenty of playtime, and lots of snuggles.
About: Over the years, I’ve been trusted to stay overnight at the homes of neighbors, friends, and family. I have experience with dogs of all ages (ex. Puppies, very high energy dogs, senior dogs, and those who are a little stubborn or reactive). I’m comfortable with feeding, giving medication, long walks, and keeping pets on their usual routine. I have a flexible work schedule and can give walks in the morning and/or afternoon and evening. I’m happy to work with any size or breed. I’m flexible, reliable, and always willing to adapt to the needs and schedule of both you and your pet! I currently work full-time from 10 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday–Friday. I’m fully available on weekends, and I’m also free before and after work for walks, bathroom breaks, or overnight stays with your pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine as closely as possible so their dog feels comfortable and safe. I make sure they get regular walks, playtime, feeding, medication if needed, and plenty of attention. I keep the home tidy, follow any house rules, and send updates so you always know how your pet is doing. While I can’t be with pets all day during the weekdays, I can easily crate them if needed.
“Mara was great! I hired her for 4 drop-in visits for my 3 year-old cat. She offered to come a day before, so that she could familiarize herself with my place. She gave me consistent and reassuring updates on the Rover app with 5+ photos/day, and a paragraph elaborating on the visit. I would definitely trust Mara with my cat agin! Highly recommend.”

“Summer did a great job giving my cat his medication. She did not always stay the full 30 minutes according to the app which was understandable on a holiday booking, but my cats were well cared for with her and I would be comfortable leaving them in her care again.”

“I recently adopted my kitten almost two months ago. He is 9 months old, and I am his third home. Deciding what to do for him while needing to be out of town was a hard decision. I didn’t want to leave him alone and felt scared to take him to a sitter because I didn’t want to think he was abandoned again. When I first looked at Elizabeth’s profile, I instantly felt comfortable. She kept me updated with texts and photos, answered any question I might have had, and overall made me feel secure about the whole situation. I’m so happy my kitten had an enjoyable experience. I 100% recommend and would return to her as a sitter when needed in the future.”

About: Growing up in a house of animals, and having a small zoo of my own (2 dogs and 2 cats), I have a lot of experience taking care of animals. I have dog and cat sat for friends for years. I am currently available for Drop ins and Walks. I try to spend a bare minimum of 15 minutes with any drop in to make sure they get all the attention that they need. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I understand that all Walks aren't created equal. My Walks always vary based off of the needs of the dog. I am also an avid cat lover. I am more than happy to stop by and feed, clean the litter box, and snuggle/play with your feline friends. Currently I work full time on the West side of the cities, but I have Sundays and Mondays off to help with your animal needs. My hope is to expand my availability over time. My current weekend lines up with some weekdays. I spend most of those days out and about, so I'd love to check in on some cute animal while I am at it! Slow and steady is always best. I am a believer in letting animals come to you. I have experience with a kennel trained and unkennel trained dogs. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I am experienced in walking all sizes of dogs.

About: As a Special Education Teacher, my greatest strength is patience and adaptability. I am an expert at reading body language and non-verbal cues, which allows me to understand exactly what a pet needs—whether they are feeling anxious, overstimulated, or just need a quiet companion. I don't just 'watch' pets; I provide a structured, calm environment where they feel safe and understood. My background in healthcare means I am detail-oriented and highly responsible. I treat every care instruction—from specific feeding times to walking routes—with professional precision. While I am new to professional pet sitting, I have spent my entire life in a multi-pet household and recently gave 15 years of dedicated care to my senior dog. I know firsthand the deep trust it takes to leave your 'fur baby' with someone else, and I honor that trust by treating your pets with the same 'big heart' and devotion I give my own. As a full-time Special Education Teacher, my work day is 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. I am available for early morning check-ins (before 7:00 AM) and evening walks or house-sitting stays (after 5:30 PM). During house-sitting bookings, I spend my entire evening and night providing dedicated companionship and snuggles to your pet. Weekends: This is when I am fully available! I love dedicating my Saturdays and Sundays to longer walks, park visits, and extra playtime. Bonus for Vacation Planning: Since I follow the school calendar, I have wide-open, full-time availability during Spring Break, Summer Vacation, and Winter Breaks. If you’re heading out of town for the holidays, I’m here to give your pet a fun 'staycation' of their own! When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is maintaining the comfort and security of their existing routine. As a Special Education Teacher, I understand that pets (much like my students!) thrive on predictability, so I follow all feeding, walking, and medication schedules with professional precision. My healthcare background makes me naturally detail-oriented, ensuring that your home is kept clean and secure, and that any specific care instructions are followed to the letter. During our time together, your pet will receive my full, 'big-hearted' attention—whether that’s a vigorous walk, a patient play session with a shy cat, or simply quiet companionship during a house-sitting stay. I pride myself on clear communication and will send regular 'report card' updates with photos, so you can have total peace of mind knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, and right at home.
About: With a lifetime of experience owning dogs and cats, I’ve mastered caring for all temperaments. As a dedicated foster parent and lifelong pet sitter, I understand every dog has unique needs. I love staying active by taking pups on long walks, runs, or playing fetch, ensuring they get the exercise and personalized attention they deserve while I work from home. As a full-time remote worker, I am home all day Monday through Friday with a very flexible schedule. I have the freedom to take breaks for morning strolls, midday fetch, and evening runs. My weekends are fully open, ensuring your pet receives constant companionship and personalized care 24/7. Safety is my top priority during every walk and drop-in. I always perform a gear check before heading out and maintain 100% focus on your dog and our surroundings. I am experienced in reading dog body language and avoiding triggers to keep our outings stress-free. In your home, I am meticulous about double-checking locks and ensuring your pet is safely settled before I leave. My goal is to provide the same patient, specialized care I give my own fosters.
“Meredith was incredibly thoughtful and reliable! I was so thankful for the detailed daily updates when I was gone for the week, and my cat seemed to truly love her!”

“This experience has been just phenomenal! Donna was very patient with my girls and her daily checkin was what I waited for every day I was away! What a pleasure to find a wonderful service that does exactly what they say they'll do! Thanks again!”

Sunfish Lake cat parents share their Rover experiences
Sy was such a pleasure and did a wonderful job dropping in to visit my two cats for a week. She was thoughtful, easy to communicate with, and flexible. I can tell she and Lucas have a real love for animals and they love them too. Even my shy cat, Franny, warmed up to them quickly. I received thorough updates and lots of pictures that made me feel very comfortable leaving them knowing they were in good hands.

Summer did a great job giving my cat his medication. She did not always stay the full 30 minutes according to the app which was understandable on a holiday booking, but my cats were well cared for with her and I would be comfortable leaving them in her care again.
