“I had to travel for work last minute and Jennifer helped me so much. She checked on my two cats and a dog twice a day while I was gone with pictures and she even brought in my mail. Thank you Jennifer!”

“Jill is just wonderful. I can’t imagine a better sitter and friend for our cat! She goes above and beyond and always sends us many photos and updates. Finding her has been such a blessing”

About: I have an associates degree in Veterinary Technology and worked in the veterinary field for 5 years. During that time I would often watch coworker's and friend's pets including both cats and dogs. I am experienced with giving medications and caring for senior pets who may need a little extra help and care! I am currently working part-time with a schedule that changes week to week. I am always available before 8am and after 7:30pm as well as most weekends. In all of my past pet sitting gigs, I have always tried my best to respect other's homes and traditions. I am very flexible and will always respect any and all wishes when it comes to your home an beloved pets!
“Paige did a great job taking care of my two cats over a long weekend. She had great communication throughout my time away. I would definitely work with her again.”

About: I grew up with dogs in my home from birth, and had up to 4 dogs in my house all at different ages. Family and friends have relied on me to walk, bathe, and sit for their doggies since I was 8 or nine years old. I have experience working with puppies all the way to senior dogs at the end of their lives. I specifically cared for two of my own senior dogs by providing homemade food, cleaning up accidents, and providing a safe location to go through seizures. I am just beginning to re enter the work force after being a student for the last 4 years, and want to see your animals on the weekends to keep me sane. I am up early to walk my own dog each day so can I do early morning let outs/ walks as well as daytime and evening or even overnight care. I am able to come to your home to care for your pet with great daily flexibility. I have a vehicle, so I can easily pop over and let out your pet or feed them/ change a litter box. I can also do a home stay for whatever period of time is needed.
“Paige was wonderful with our kitties. They were happy when we returned, so we could tell they'd gotten lots of snuggles. And she pilled our senior cat twice a day, which isn't the easiest task. We'll definitely reach out to her again!”

“Stephanie took excellent care of our senior cat. Stephanie befriended our shy but super social cat during the meet and greet — she has the gift! I’m so happy our cat has a new bestie and I can confidently travel knowing she’s happy and cared for. Stephanie kept track of her eating and bathroom habits, and shared updates so we could adjust her meds. I loved the detailed daily updates and photos. I have the next visit booked already!”

“Erin has been a huge blessing for us and our dog! She has always arrived right on time and has taken the time and patience to convince our older, anxious golden doodle to be friends. We are always nervous leaving our spoiled, attention seeking girl home alone but knowing Erin is stopping in for visits to play or have a potty break makes us feel more comfortable and relaxed knowing she's in good hands!”

“Katie did fantastic! She was able to give Sevie his meds right in his mouth. She took very good care of him when we were out of town and we appreciate the care she took of our fur baby.”

“Andrea was phenomenal! It is evident that caring for pets is her area of expertise. I was apprehensive about hiring someone to watch our cat but Andrea put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying. We received daily updates of texts and pictures which we looked forward to seeing at the end of the day. I look forward to having Andrea take care of our cat in the future and would highly recommend her to others.”

About: Growing up in a house of animals, and having a small zoo of my own (2 dogs and 2 cats), I have a lot of experience taking care of animals. I have dog and cat sat for friends for years. I am currently available for Drop ins and Walks. I try to spend a bare minimum of 15 minutes with any drop in to make sure they get all the attention that they need. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I understand that all Walks aren't created equal. My Walks always vary based off of the needs of the dog. I am also an avid cat lover. I am more than happy to stop by and feed, clean the litter box, and snuggle/play with your feline friends. Currently I work full time on the West side of the cities, but I have Sundays and Mondays off to help with your animal needs. My hope is to expand my availability over time. My current weekend lines up with some weekdays. I spend most of those days out and about, so I'd love to check in on some cute animal while I am at it! Slow and steady is always best. I am a believer in letting animals come to you. I have experience with a kennel trained and unkennel trained dogs. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I am experienced in walking all sizes of dogs.
“Katie was great, she came through on a somewhat last minute request when my prior sitter was no longer available, and made it work! I came home to a pretty mellow kitty and had the ease of knowing she was getting some love while I was away. No complaints!!”

About: I've had 2 dogs but am unable to have an animal of my own right now. I am a go-to sitter of friends and family for caring for their dogs and/or cats when they go out of town. I love taking care of animals! I'm currently working a hybrid schedule of Monday and Friday's at home. I am available to watch dogs/cats the whole week, but need to be in the office Tuesday - Thursday. So, if your dog can go a little over 8 hours between potty breaks this is no issue. I do work fairly close to home, so could come home on lunch break for a quick bathroom break. I live in a townhouse with a small, mulched front yard. I have a long leash that I can let dogs out on for quick bathroom breaks (I will be outside with them to supervise) . The neighborhood has sidewalks throughout and low traffic to take dogs on longer walks. Neighborhood is very dog friendly. Applewood Nature Reserve is also a walkable distance from my house (dogs should have tick prevention if you want them walked in the park). Longer walks would be up to 2 miles depending on your pets ability.

“Carrie was awesome and our cat doesn't love most people but Carrie took great care of her and you can tell she loves what she does. I would recommend her to anyone, she's responsive and kind.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - South Saint Paul
Emily was great with our cat Mila and even came to meet her before we left on our vacation. She followed all instructions, communicated well with us, and was very dependable. We were comforted in knowing she would come on time to make sure Mila got her foods and meds, a few treats and also some ear and head scratches.

Summer did a great job giving my cat his medication. She did not always stay the full 30 minutes according to the app which was understandable on a holiday booking, but my cats were well cared for with her and I would be comfortable leaving them in her care again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
