About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I have many friends, neighbors, and family who have trusted me with the care of their cat(s). I have taken care of multiple cats who require medication and have special dietary needs. About: I have a bachelors degree in animal conservation and marine biology. I also grew up with both cats and dogs, as well as rodents, fish, and lizards. About: I have had my own dogs (and cats, chickens, bunnies, etc!) my whole life. I have also been relied on by friends, family, and neighbors for years to care for their fur babies while traveling. My husband and I also foster dogs through various local rescues! I work from home and my partner has a flexible schedule. Usually, we are both home and able to provide 24/7 care for the animals we board! I have a very large fenced yard with two dog pools for hot summer days. Our chickens stay in a separate enclosed area. My home offers multiple rooms and, due to the fact that we often foster, we have several kennels and other “safe space” areas if your fur baby feels safer hanging out or sleeping separately from the rest of the pack. Although, we are a household that encourages pets to curl up on the furniture! We have 3 dogs- a collie/Aussie mix, yellow lab, and husky. All are friendly, up to date on vaccines, and love other dogs! Lastly, we are a cat friendly home but do have separate spaces available if separation from them is best.

About: I’ve cared for dogs since my teenage years, from puppies to seniors. Lately, I’ve fostered and adopted senior rescues. I consider dogs some of the most special creatures on Earth. About: Since 2020, I've been providing dependable dog walking and in-home pet care for families in the Inver Grove Heights, West St. Paul, and South St. Paul areas. My Yard: 5 ft privacy fence entirely enclosing the yard and deck. My Pet: 65lb spayed female British lab who is passive and needs a meet & Greet before we accept Boarding Crating? I follow your routine so if you want them crated, I will do that (some parents teach dogs to be crated at night). I would only ever use it other than your specific direction if I were to leave the house to store, etc. Dog won't be alone long - I am home during days. My family: 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 kid in house. Scope us out! Come visit with your pup for a meet & greet! Boarding: Occasionally I do accept dogs to board in our home. The dog needs to meet & Greet our dog first (she is calm, passive spayed). I only accept dogs to boardthat are up to date on vaccinations. We have kids and stuff (socks, toys) lays out...if your dog will ingest socks or "eat" things laying out, this isn't a good Boarding match. I believe every pet has a unique personality and deserves individualized care, patience, and affection. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you're away, knowing your pets are safe, loved, and receiving the attention they deserve. I am flexible during weekdays, mostly for check ins, potty breaks and feeding. In evening and weekends I am open for walks, check ins and feedings. I follow your Pet's routine as you detail it! Walks I require a leash. I send you updates and photos from walks or check ins. My House & Yard: Occasionally, we accept dogs for boarding. That is only if we do a Meet & Greet first, and determine our dog (9 yr old, calm and passive British lab, spayed) is a match. We would only boarding a dog in our home that is up to date on vaccinations

About: Growing up in a house of animals, and having a small zoo of my own (2 dogs and 2 cats), I have a lot of experience taking care of animals. I have dog and cat sat for friends for years. I am currently available for Drop ins and Walks. I try to spend a bare minimum of 15 minutes with any drop in to make sure they get all the attention that they need. About: Growing up, I became the neighborhood pet sitter for all the dogs and cats on my block-- I loved it so much that I didn't want to give it up once I started teaching! During the school year, I can watch your pets if they are used to being left alone during the workday. During the summer, I am free to give your pets as much love and attention as they'll put up with! As a sitter, my biggest priorities are safety, routine, and communication. When I am house sitting, I try to follow your routine as closely as possible to try and make your pets feel a little more at ease, and I send lots of pictures to try and make YOU feel a little more at ease! I also love to spoil the pets I'm watching, so be ready for me to ask if your dog or cat is okay to have a pup cup anytime I'm picking up coffee :) As I said earlier, I am available in the summer to spend as much time as you would like with your pets. I available during the school year (Late August- early June) if your pets are okay with being left alone for 8 hours. I know that sometimes pet parents worry about being too "high maintenance" with their pets' needs or quirks, but I promise that that is not a thing in my book! Whatever your pets' little habits and routines are, I will accommodate them as much as possible.

“Kristen and her family helped us out over a weekend. Her young girls have a lot of energy but she kept and eye on our Leo to be sure they were good with him. He sleeps a lot and they let him do that. All evidence was that Leo was cared for.”

She regularly sent me photos and videos, which gave me great peace of mind. One of the things that stood out the most was seeing videos of my cat sleeping next to her daughter. To me, that showed that he felt comfortable, safe, and secure in their home. It was clear that Perla treated him with kindness and care.
